You know, I was thinking of something about this whole buisness...

We see in the second episode that the power of friendship actually IS a type of magic, and is very powerful and effective at neutralizing high-power targets.

She then asks her most serious mage to study this, with frequent reports. I ask you... Simple way of loosening up a stick-in-the-mud, or magical weapon's research program, capable of combatting any other children's TV known to man?

Definitely not an original thought, but I love it.

That is my theory as to why Twilight is able to perform much greater magic in the episodes after the second one. She gets to teleport like Ganon and manages to change the metabolism of hundreds of Parasprites in the later episodes: because her Friendship is Magic(al power).

Man, I've been tossing around joining SA for a while, but paying to join a forum that bans ponies? Never. Ever.

To be fair to SA's mods, the topic was gigantic, growing very quickly, and it was a massive troll magnet. And some of the regular posters were pretty terrible.

Also a MLP thread popped up in the "Comic and Hero/Villain Culture" subforum of the City of Heroes official forums, and lasted three pages before being locked for not being "related to comics, heroes, or villain culture" (despite allowing threads on wrestling, anime, various TV shows, etc).

This show is cursed.
