Reinholdt shrugs a little. "It's really best to be cautious in these scenarios over trusting. But I can guarantee the second part at least. You won't be used again." Reinholdt goes ahead turns into a human to make carrying the thing that much easier. The cast now fits his hand. For whatever reason. Same reason he shifts with clothes on I suppose. He'll take the idol in his good hand and summon a small satchel from his hammer space to put it in and sling across his back before heading out to find Nancy and talk to her.

Sarah nods vigourously at Quinn, still beaming, and looks up at Jamie. "You wanna play?"

Has Quinn ever seen Doctor Rein? I don't recall.

If Reinholdt do manage to find her cabin and knock on the door, she will open it, dressed in her usual clothes and her red cloak. She only opens it partly however. "Yeah? What do you want?" She asks suspiciously to Reinholdt.

"Hello. I'm Reinholdt, Treasure Hunter Extraordinaire." Reinholdt gives his flourish.

"I wanted to ask you a bit about the circumstances involving your arrival here."

Deadtime for an hour or so.

Sarah nods vigourously at Quinn, still beaming, and looks up at Jamie. "You wanna play?"

Mikani grins at Sarah. "I'd love to! I can show you some really cool stuff too, c'mon, let's go check out the lake!"
And she'll go to lead the younger girl in the direction of the shore.

Sarah follows at an exuberant pace, watching Jamie with curious eyes.

Brianna smiles. "Hey there, Quinn. How have you been?"

"A Mister Moth arrived earlier today and said you had taken something from him. I have no wish to jump to any hasty conclusions, so came to determine what had actually occurred and if it was justified."

[Nancy's Cabin]

"I got no'thing." Nancy replies hastily. "Anything I took with me I gave to Quinn, ask her about it. She'll tell you I was knocked out, near death, all that ****." She continues.

"I can't steal anything if I was knocked out right?"

[Reinholdt]

[Nancy's Cabin]

"Ok... I'm not accusing you of anything here. I just want to know what happened. I know there were two others with you, yes? Maybe we could just start from the beginning?" Like... why they were there in the estate in the first place.

[Shadowcaller]

[Nancy's Cabin]

Nancy pauses, frowning. "Why are you so curious about it?" She asks him. "The idol isn't even his in the first place, he stole it from the cult I just left and we were trying to take it back, thats all." The former cultists shakes her head. "But it got nothing to do with me now, I don't even care if you give it back or not, I'm done with all that stuff."

[Reinholdt]

[Nancy's Cabin]

"Quinn's reports are rather... scarce at best." In that she never makes any.

"I see. This idol. What's so special about it?"

"Well, I don't know that much about it, it was mostly our leader that knew stuff about anything. But really, if you want me to tell you more, but better tell me something." She pauses, glaring at Reinholdt. "Like, who the heck you are and why your so curious about me and that idol for example?"

[Reinholdt]

[Nancy's Cabin]

Reinholdt gives a frustrated sigh.
"I am Reinholdt. I believe I already told you why I was interested. Mr. Moth came earlier today, claiming the idol was his. Quinn told me to ascertain more about the idol and the circumstances revolving around it so that we may better decide what to do. So, here I am."

[Shadowcaller]

[Nancy's Cabin]

Nancy rolls her eyes. "Fine, alright. The idol could make the moon turn red and call 'the dancer' which was the god we worshiped." She hesitates. "It could do other things I think, but the leader didn't show us any of that, all we used it for publicly was to call the dancer with it. But in private... I think he spoke to it and other invisible beings. Never questioned him about it thought." Nancy shrugs. "Happy now?"

"Yes. Thank you. When did Mr. Moth steal it from your group?"

Nancy crosses her arms over her chest and gets a puzzled look over her face. "Uh... that was a few years ago, just a few months after I had left the village he controlled."

"I see. Thank you." Reinholdt bows slightly before turning to head to his own cabin. Maybe talk to the idol there. Unless Nancy has something else to say or notes the idol through the satchel he's carrying. Or something.

"...do you have the idol with you?" She carefully asks just as he turns around to leave.

Reinholdt turns back around with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes. Why? I thought you didn't care what happened to it?"

Nancy hesitates "Uh, yeah, I don't. Never mind, I was just curious I guess."

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt looks at her oddly.
"You sure? Is there something else I should know?" Reinholdt goes ahead and pulls the idol out of the satchel. "Calls itself Dawnwolf."

Brianna smiles. "Hey there, Quinn. How have you been?"

Quinn jumps up and goes to tightly hug Brianna, grinning broadly.
"I thought you'd never be here again, Brianna. I've been great!"

Sarah follows at an exuberant pace, watching Jamie with curious eyes.

When they reach the lakeshore, Mikani lets go of Sarah's hand, raises her wand into the air, and smiles.
"Alright, watch!"
And she pirouttes!
And in a gust of wind and swirl of ribbons and cloth, she de-transforms into Jamie!
Holding a stick, not a wand.
And she giggles.

Brianna is hugged! And hugs back. Quinn might get the impression she's holding back, though. "Sorry. Had some things to do. Bloody Formorians making trouble."

"Who?" Quinn giggles, but smiles broadly. "It's good to see you back. I'm glad you're alright. Are you going to be staying this time?"

She's in for a surprise when she meets Jamie, isn't she?

"I might have to go from time to time to do stuff, but in the main, yeah, I am.

The Formorians are basically Titanspawn that were spawned by Crom Cruach, the Great Maggot. He's always hated the Tuatha."

"I'll pretend that makes sense and call them bad guys."
Quinn chuckles softly. "But it's good to hear that. I think you've got a lot of catching up to do..."

And it's about this time that Jamie pops in, here in main continuity, and also now looking 12-ish as opposed to the baby she was when Brianna was last here!
"Mom, have you - oh! Sorry. Hi. Who are you?"

And yes, I do."

Then, Jamie! Brianna looks at her. "My name's Brianna, little one."

She frowns, and looks at Quinn. "...Mum?"
