Chezchire shoves his twin, still tied to the pole, into the lake, then sits down and watches as it sinks down into the water.

Ory looked at Quinn for several seconds before answering.
"I was at a party and I started drinking. I have some vague recollection of a fight and people making out in a hot tub."
He peered around the room realizing that it was not a full hospital at all. "I'm sorry what exactly is the "Good League of Good" again?" Other than redundunt. He added to himself.

Quinn, as it happens, is a tall, slightly slender but rather curvy, and modestly-dressed brunette with hair down to her shoulders and...

"And it seems you hit your head and went into a coma. You were fortunate there were people there more sober than you were," she says dryly. "And you didn't give me your name, which is a point against you on the concussion-test scale. As for the Good League of Good, we are an orginsation devoted to promoting good works and helping people, especially in helping the redemption of evildoers."

And she starts scanning Ory with a med-scanner!
It goes ding when there's stuff.

The sinking might suddenly stop...
As Mikani glares at Chezzy, one hand in the water.
"What do you think you're doing, mister?"

It's a very ancient Festivus family rite.
First we yell at each other.
Then we drown whoever loses the fight.

Not like he even needs to breath anyway.
He won't die.
Not even if we leave him there all day.

Chezzy says, quite annoyed, as his brothe glares at him.

"Riiiight. How do I know you're not just trying to be rid of him, and why shouldn't I call my mom in to smite you?" Mikani asks, sounding rather annoyed, herself.

Cuz we've been doing this forever, and he's still here.
C'mon, be a sport.
He won the fight and got to drown me last year.

"Fine. But if you're lying, you'll be following him in."
Mikani removes her hand from the water, and glowers.
She glowers pretty good for a 12-year-old Magical Girl.

Zero can be seen walking around the edge of the lake.

"What, to make yourself more attractive?"

Zanny chuckles.

"Yes, we will get to that. It's not too hard to learn because it deceits mostly sight, though illusions of smell and touch can be added to create complex enchantments. Controlling light is the key to deceiving the sight of others, though, so practice that tune."

Nancy looks rather... plain, if thats any excuse.
She tries to laugh with Zanny a bit, even if it sounds a bit fake.

"Alright, uh so if I practice it, what sort of illusions should I attempt to conjure first?"

"Well, as I said, the first thing you should try to do is light manipulation. Make it bright and then make it dark. After light mastery, you can try to get started on changing or masking colors with an alteration to the tune. Try to maintain the illusions for as long as you can, but I'll teach you how to make illusions without constant music later."

Zanny keeps an encouraging smile on his face. He'll show her the subtle differences between the songs that create light, create darkness, and change colors, along with some others.

Chezzy sits down and begins to fish as Arquim sinks to the bottom of the lake, glowering for all he's worth.

The little onion vibrates happily. Well, now that I know you're safe, I can get back to my revolution.

Stay away from any black haired beauty who looks like me, but doesn't say hi to the onion. Vidalia leans in to kiss Butler. And say hello to Decker for me.

Nancy seems to enjoy the lesson very much, even laughing a bit at her own blunders. There is a certain confident in her voice as she sings thought, she is learning quite quickly.

She might even be ready to create her own illusions at this point.

"...so how large area can I darken or lighten? And would this light harm a vampire?"

Zanny seems to enjoy the teaching too.

"Well, it depends on your own expertise. A skilled bard could create light anywhere he could see, but a novice like you could probably fill a room at best. And I'm not entirely an expert on vampirism, but I'm pretty sure that the light will harm any vampire who believes the illusion."

Nancy smiles a bit. "Sounds useful, so if I practice this and the colors a bit... what will be the next step?" She wonders, taking a bite off an apple from a nearby fruit basket.

Zanny shrugs. He does not take an apple himself, because dragons are carnivores. Though he does eat fruit and vegetables occasionally, meat is the bard's preference.

"With light and color, you can begin mixing it all to create full images, though they'd be silent, intangible, and unscented. Then you can change your appearance, or at least once I teach you to make the spells permanent or last a long time."

"Oh, so how do you *much* make a song-spell permanent then? You have on active right now right? Since you... look better then in the citadel." Nancy says as she is eating on the apple, pointing at Zanny.

"Oh, its complicated, and you must change the song up quite a bit. As I said, I'll show you once you've practiced the light and colors enough."

Zanny smirks.

"And yes, I do have a permanent enchantment up. A couple, in fact. Bards have got to stay handsome and pretty."

Even though he can have a perfect and flawlessly handsome body from the natural dragon shapeshifting. It's a silly notion, but sometimes he likes being able to turn off the extraordinary.

The med scanner reads his implanted cybernetics as what they are along with reporting that his concussion is most likely passed. He is obviously a bit weak and grogy from his time in a coma but he seems to have recovered for the most part.

"Sorry. My name is Gregory Mathews, but people call me Ory. I think I'm all right now, but thank you for taking care of me."

He paused, looking down at himself. "You wouldn't happen to have my belongings would you?"

Happy Reinholdt is around. He is after all, Anchor's Thanksmas gift, so it only seems fair that he hang around her some of the time.

If not then he's clearly just here to try and bug Grumpy Rein just by existing in any close proximity to himself.

"So are dragon bards common? Or the fact that they love humans?" Nancy is taken a chance here as she isn't even sure Darcy is human with all that strange shape shifting.

"It is what we're usually called, yes."

Zanny grins.

"Dragon bards are quite uncommon, though we do take mates from other species very often. Not usually bards, though. Many dragons lack the subtly or patience to use illusions, and get along fine with their natural power. Where I'm from, at least."

"Uhu, and where are you from exactly? Not the nexus?" Nancy asks curiously as she finishes her apple, starting to hymn a bit on the melody she just learned.

"I'm not a native of the Nexus, no. I came from one of those... What do you call them... Parallel universes? Alternate dimensions? At any rate, it was much different back there. And a good deal more boring. I found some sort of portal one day, went on some trans-dimensional world-hopping adventures, and ended up here. Not much more to say."

Zanny shrugs and waves a hand vaguely at his barely-defined backstory.

"And yet you seem know more about it then I do." Nancy replies with a smile. "But I guess we should continue practicing before we start to go too much into each others... or well, your back story." She giggles a bit.

He takes up his lyre once more and begins trilling on songs that manipulate light and color, basic visuals and whatnot.

A Super Butler kiss!! Vidalia must... who am I kidding? Vidalia melts like butter in Butler's overpowering embraced kiss. Well, hopfully he's embracing her. Otherwise she's falling. She's now a sauteed onion.

I... I think I can stay, for a while. she says, once she's caught enough breath to speak.
