I keep wanting to introduce another character, but I can't think of anything that'll be as involved as Trix is.

No, they don't. So it wouldn't have been a very good ploy at all.

Payment is up front bucko. He'll sign the contract, hand payment over, get a knife in the ribs right afterwards. There is nothing in SAINT's rules that protects you until a contract is complete, only that the contract WILL be complete. Regardless of its contract owner's status. It's a large part of the reason payment is up front.

As for which contract to complete? Well Nite could always start with number 1 and work his way down the list. Or with the last one and work his way up. Or try them all simultaneously in some Xanatos Gambit gone wrong. It'll look impressive though.

Where's a good place in the NEXUS for someone with delusions of being a world-conqueror to crash land?

Not sure if SAINT has this OoC rule, but there should be something to the effect of "you can only take out contracts if you're willing for contracts to be taken out against you". Obvious, I guess, but stating the obvious in new ways makes me feel all smart and stuff. However, here's something I'm not sure is kosher, but this is just my opinion, of course. Everyone in FFRP has a different point of view on character death and rezzing, varying from "absolutely not, ever" to the whole revolving door heaven thing. The thing is, is it entirely fair for a character for whom death is a temporary annoyance to take out a hit on a character for whom death is the end? Just my thoughts, I guess.

He should definitely recruit Frank as his Grand Vizier.

I agree with the Moff, to be honest. I'm fine with kidnapping contracts being taken out against my characters, but not assassination. By the same token, I'd only ever have my characters take out kidnapping contracts.

Nobody's answered where a good place to crash-land might be. Should I just crash in one of the Zones in Inside, or should it be somewhere in Riverside or what?

It depends on what your character's like, I guess. If he's gonna start with the "TAEK OVER TEH WUUUUUURLD" thing immediately, Riverside is probably a better idea, but seeing as Inside's more active, if your character can keep it subtle, Red or even Yellow zones are perfectly fine.

I dunno, the "TAKE OVER THE WORLD!" thing is kinda a big part of the character, but Riverside doesn't look suited to the character at all. On the other hand, overt shouting of the intent of world domination may call the Empire into things, which would really make it hard to play a rather fun character.

I mean, if they did conquer anything, it'd largely be because they're almost completely nuts. You know, like PoTC: "You're mad!" "Thank goodness for that, 'cause if I wasn't this would probably never work."

Except without the awareness of actually being nuts.

He's leaping again. How stupid can he get? He's most likely easily going to get whipped again, this time in the face, with a combo-electrical blast and poison tip. Leaping is one of the worst moves you can use against Ilpholin. It leaves you way too vulnerable to her speedy reaction time.

Mister Squiggles chitters and moves forward. Not that he was standing still in the first place. If he does got 'ick'ed it's not going to be squarely where Barlin wants it and is going to be more of a glancing blow.

Leaping is not a good strategy against anyone ever. Unless your trying to get yourself killed.
