    The night passes uneventful save for a few howls in the darkness. The night's chilling air brings forth a cooler sunrise than the past few days but after a morning meal the group is once again off.

    Mid-afternoon brings about a transformation in the weather as a thunderstorm drenches the region forcing the party under an outcropping of tangle trees, to wait out the storm. The party looses an hour from the rains as they once again continue to their destination.

    But as the night begins to fall again, Kael once more informs the group that they are still a few miles off from their destination and another night to camp takes place. Once more another night passes by with but little event.

    REAPING 21

    The next day brings forth a much warmer day than the previous and no sign of rain. The group quickly makes up for lost time and around noon, the party sees plumes of smoke in the distance over a cresting hill.

    Dwin and Wolf Paw hear running footsteps that sound like something getting to come over the hill top. As they seem to react before the others, two ogres and three orcs crest the hill top.

    Dwin stands looking over to the other group and backs up behind Wolf and the other more combat focused of his friends, while doing so he charges himself with magical energy ready to release it if needs be

    Dwim gets off his sleep spell causing two orcs (A, B) to collapse and stumble as they crest the hill top.

    Ogre (A) lifts his great club as he attempts to smash Kael, who reacts first attempting to strike at the ogre...

    As Kael strikes his dagger into the the thigh of the ogre (A), the other ogre attempts to smash Zurkon but fails to hit him - knocking up dust and grass from the hillside.

    Org smashes his morningstar against the remaining orc still awake and watches the goblinoid drop to the ground to lay motionless.

    The ogre, that Kael faced bellowed from the stab of the dagger and smashed his club downward at the ranger. Missing him as well.

    Ogre (A) roars as Wolf Paw strikes him as he stumbles slightly and drops with a loud thud on the ground, dust and other loose particles flying into the air from the impact.

    Dwim throws his javelin as it pierces the remaining ogre's shoulder causing it to momentarily look at the small halfling, before focusing back on Zurkon.

    Org looks for anything of value on the body of the orc, after he checks it's pulse. He then drags the corpse over to the others.

    keep one of those filthy orcs alive - let's see what they know!

    after his opponent is felled by wolf paw, kael turns his attention to the next most threatening target: ogre (B) with a javelin sticking out of its shoulder. he moves into position next to the beast, attempting to provide a flanking advantage to zurkon.

    The remaining ogre does not seem to notice Kael as he swings the large club it holds and smashes down against the dwarf. Zurgon is knocked backwards to drop to the ground remaining motionless, though it was evident he still labored to breathe.
