    He can sense the living, the dead and the undead. That's it.

    I just meant the snake is either here or there, so it is alive outside the room, or alive inside the room. You can see it is not in the room, hence "No Life"
    How far are the people from the bag? If they are too close, I dont light it

    Actually, I can sense "no life." Creatures who are neither living nor dead, like constructs, ping on Deathwatch too. So if anything, anywhere, is a construct, Eduardo knows it. Also, I'm back, baby.
    The Master of Death bemusedly watches his new allies panic. He casts his gaze all along the corridor, searching for beacons of life-force that his death sense may reveal. If there are invisible enemies lurking, Eduardo will find them.

    Calm yourselves. Panicking never helps. Be wary. Be cautious. But approach the problem with a rational mind and clear action. Not with chaos.

    He also withdraws a separate wand, one made of green, carved wood. As he searches the room for invisible serpents, which may or may not be present, he also walks up to each sphere in turn and aims his wand at it, speaking a garbled command word as he does so.

    Detect poison on each of the spheres via wand. Should let us know if there are any more poison spear or poison gas or what have you traps on them. Any sphere that triggers detect poison he will mark the wall with a black thumb print (ink from scribing materials).

    THAT is exactly what i thought it meant and its exactly why i thought it didnt make any sence how can it differentiate a construct from a wall or a sock puppet XD. Also great roleplaying from the character with the highest Wis Score

    this feels better

    all my defences are up now: mage armor, shield, reduce person, stoneskin and alter self.

    I dont have invisibility, mirror image and protection from evil on only.



    After the halfling turned tiny pixie becomes even smaller he buzzes around screaming to attract their attention. He is about 1/2 feet tall currently and looking just as cute as before if not cuter.

    "AND NOW LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! I PRESENT YOU WITH THE POWER OF ULTIMATE MAGIC" He calls out as he snaps his fingers and focuses down the Hall.

    His eyes begin to glow and he moves up and down taking a small chalk from a pouch and putting an X next to some of the balls.

    I cast
    Detect Secret doors. (page 220 in Player handbook). after the first round of concentration I see if there are any passages we missed within 60 feet. After the second I know the number and the location. At this point I start walking up and down to see all of them.

    Pressing through the illusionary veil that is the four-armed gargoyle's silver sphere, Shudu finds his hand pressed against a wooden door...
    Eduardo's wand reveals no poisons, except those that might be found on the persons and within the packs of various characters within the hall.
    Dranga nods to Eduardo with respect, "Good thinking!"
    Interestingly enough, Harley's bottle also registers as a deadly poison.
    For the pale violet sphere held at shoulder by a kuo-toa and the pale bluesphere held at shoulder by a werewolf, Shudu's hand bursts through BOTH illusionary veils! As his hands search about in the darkness, his hands press against the familiar cold hard, clinkiness of coins!

    Shudu can stick his head inside to get a look at their value or take them out.
    "Maki, they aren't statues! They're mosaics on the wall! And Eduardo is right, panicking won't help... We just need to finish here and move on." says Daina.
