So if my understanding of this game is right, it IS a good idea to lynch someone one day 1, -if they're town we get the GA majority, if they're a witch then 'yay we got one'- but it is suspicious to try and lynch someone on day 1?

What isn't suspicious in this game? It's like a joke my friends and I have about those anti-drug PSAs- is your teen sleeping too much? Or not enough? Do they eat a lot, or not eat anything at all? Have hot flashes? Cold flashes? Etc. FACT- your teen is on drugs.

I can't more blatantly tell you all who I am except to say that I when I pseudo-claimed earlier, I consider about 7 Innocent roles not useful to the entire team (i.e. either to only themselves, one other person, or to specific situations), and 1 that is useful lynched. That leaves only 7 that I would consider "more useful to the town alive than dead." And there is a 90% chance I am one of those.

Why only 90%? Well, nobody's perfect.

Everybody has different opinions on what's suspicious and what's not, so on day one when everybody is still alive it's likely anything you do somebody will find suspicious. I don't know why Onime-No-Enishi was on there, but you and seraine seemed like you were switching just to save CitizenFry, which is rather scummy. I don't find it too suspicious, but it's something.

Switching from Crunchy English to Zanshin; he's volunteering information for no apparent reason. Plus Crunchy's new and just got Day 1 lynched in Shapeshifters.

See, now my gut tells me to jump on the Zanshin in an attempt grab a majority, it's very imporant to get this lynch on somebody. I was all ready to switch and then I realized that Internet Flea was on my watch list...

Sotek called for us to not lynch Flea, despite his crazy claim, because he couldn't see a scenario in which it worked out for us. This logic is beyond me, but that doesn't make it wrong.(Post # 176)

Then Sotek picked up Zanshin and for awhile was the only one on him, despite offering no explicit reasoning for why. In fact, he'd been asked about Byers and Hipen3. (Post #260)

Now as we approach the deadline, Internet Flea switches to Zanshin (only the second person to do so) and follows Sotek's lead. Plus, Flea has the most votes at this point and should be looking to counter bandwagon, on someone like me or Citizen who already has a couple votes...

This is a crazy conspiracy and I might be seeing something that isn't there... but that's what the game is all about.

I could explain this, but if none of the witches worked out what I've seen, then explaining it would be bad.

Part of the logic, though, is this: If he's the Enchantress or Werewolf, it's a wasted lynch. If he's town, it's bad.

I think Zanshin is scummy, I think Hipen3 is noob and maybe scummy, I think Byers is not scummy.
Um. That's not explicit reasoning. Tydude is bouncing around in a townie way, and I think Tydude/Zanshin are differently aligned based on vote patterns. Plus, Zanshin has a ridiculously high percentage of posts ringing my alarm bells - "everything is scummy!" seems to come more often from scum than from town, for instance.

I gain nothing from getting lynched. If we go into the night with one failed lynch attempt on me, and without my claim, then the witches kill me, try to convince each other I was the Survivalist, and whether it works or not I've lost.

I remember last thread someone made a vote with the condition that the target didn't claim, so when he claimed he lost a point. Any vote that you canj think of a "if x happens" that isn't related with the deadline is OK.

I'll agree with IF that I don't think it's nice to lynch a new guy (especially one who got lynched in another game day 1). However I still think IF's claim is amazingly suspicious. So I'm switching from Crunchy English back to Internet Flea.

If a person only has 1/11 votes, should they feel obligated to act? Also, we're a bit short on time here. Would be nice if people could give a bit more of a reason for their votes though, you are right.

Personally I'm voting for Hipen3 because he has a very low content/postcount ratio. I would also be fine with lynching byers (see previous posts of mine) or Internet Flea (just because we shouldn't encourage werewolf claims).

Honestly, if I thought I could get a solid majority, I'd switch to Flea. But I feel like we have Hipen3 dead to rights now and getting the Lynch is SO important. Wtih only, what? 20 hours between now and a possible no lynch I'm not sure I want to switch.
