She tilts her head in a bit of confusion. Fiery goddess? The pirate is never going to get used to all the magic floating around here. And there's the "love" thing again.

"Ye're lookin' around fer a god? Can't ye just... pray ta her, or someting?"

That's what you do to gods, isn't it? The pirate isn't sure. >.>

"Well... I already do. But she was helping out with some infirmary patients earlier. I figure it's probably best just to talk face to face."

"It's no big deal. I'll see her when I see her. So how have you two been?"

"I've been treasure huntin' wit ye. Er, tha other ye, who's grumpy all da time."

Ermine turns her head up to poke at her hats rim, and darts her snout inside it to grab a gold coin between her teeth. Which she shows to FH-Reinholdt.

"Got'ha lot off gold. Ith's shiny."

Reelshka forgets about whatever she was going to say when she hears Ermine say something about "other ye".
What do you mean, "other you"?

"Oh. HIM." Reinholdt says with a loathing that is really a twisted reflection on all of Reinholdt's self-loathing. It's quite fascinating really.

"Well at least you got something for your troubles."
He doesn't really reply to Reelshka's comment.

"Ah, 'e's not too bad."

Not to mention the whole "godly hawtness" thing.

Ermine flicks her tail in Reelshka's direction.

"Dere are two Reinholdts, at least. Dis 'un an' da other 'un. I dunno why."

Something about parallel universes. Or was it dimensions? Pirates don't know these things.

Oh. Well, it does explain a lot. Reelshka nods.

"I was pulled from an alternate timeline as a Thanksmas present." FHR explains further.

"It all sounds loike bogus ta me, but I guess ye two be livin' proof. Unless ye're both tha same person n' jus' pullin' a fast 'un on all us?"

Ermine tucks the gold coin back in her hat, and twitches her whiskers in amusement.

Confused Reelshka is confused. An "alternate timeline" is strange enough, but... A thanksmas present? You mean someone wished for you and you showed up?

Reinholdt ponders this.
"Well... I wouldn't put it past me. The other me is so embroiled in madness and lies he might even have a split personality he doesn't know about." FHR shrugs.

"Yeah. That'd be Anchor. I'm her Thanksmas present. Is why I was looking for her."

"He is?"

Ermine gives FHR an odd look. Sure, Reinholdt is... kinda unstable, but embroiled* in madness and lies?

"If ye say so."

*a word the pirate does not know, but it sounds severe

I'm... inclined to agree. Before hearing about the Apocacon, she wouldn't think so. After that... yeah.

[Reinholdt]

[Infirmary]

"Yeah. Guy's a total nutcase. I mean, destroying the multiverse? Killing all those people? Removing people's sentience? I don't care if he was corrupted by some ancient evil force for the last one, it's all inexcusable."

Reinholdt shudders slightly.
"Sorry. Just talking about him makes me angry."

Ermine blinks, whiskers still. And flicks an ear.

"What now?"

It's silly that she's only hearing about this until now*. Though no one's thought to tell her, and its not like she knows how to use a television or computer.

"What did 'e do?"

Multiverse destroying and sentience removing draws a blank with the pirate, but killing is totally bad.

*Unless she did and my memory is way worse than I thought. >.>

"If it's all the same to you, I'd prefer to keep my blood pressure lower rather than higher. Suffice it to say, he's black to the core."

[Morty]

Yes, let's... change the subject. Reelshka feels conflicted over this whole issue. It's bad enough that all of it made Sunny leave. It really upset Brinika.

"Fine."

Ermine shuffles her paws, little claws snagging at the carpet.

She got nothin'.

Neither does FHR.

"... Who are Sunny and Brinika?"

Sunny is a young engineer who was really upset about the other Reinholdt being allowed to stay here. Brinika is my nine years old niece. She was really sad when Sunny left. FHR in fact met Brinika once.

"Oh right. Brinika. Cute girl." FHR gives a small smile.

[Morty]

Reelshka smiles.
She's been holed up in her room with the drone Sunny gave her all day. I do wonder what she's up to.

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt frowns. "I suppose me talking to her probably wouldn't help. Well I guess I'd better keep looking. See you two around." Reinholdt gives them both a wave and heads on out.

Ermine nods at FHR.

"See ya later."

Reelshka gives Reinholdt a small wave. Alright, bye. She then turns back to the medical supplies.

Flaming Hawt Human Reinholdt pops his head in.
"Hey Ermine. We probably should get going on that rage axe thing. Then afterwords we can drop by the tavern. Celebrate a little."

Happy emerges from a side room, conveniently missing FHR. "Ugh. I hope these kick in soon," she says, taking a couple of high dose morphine pills for her headache. That barbarian resistance to poison is not so useful when one needs medication.

"Oh hi," she says to Reelshka. Her player has no memory of whether they've met before. >.<

Ermine looks up at Reinholdt, claws still snagged. She glances at Reelshka, and flicks her tail, looking a bit subdued.

"... 'Kay. Let's go, den."

The pirate releases the poor carpet and scampers forward and out of the infirmary. She flicks her whiskers and looks up at Reinholdt with a much more cheerful expression.

"So, got any ideas on how ta destroy da ting?"
