She gestures back toward the taxi.

The dwarf walks towards the taxi and tries to peer inside.

Can you set gems then? Neither of us have the knack. She asks the cab. She clearly doesn't think she needs permission to talk to her.

Magtok raises an eyebrow at the drone, before returning to the conversation.

The woman begins turning back to the cab.

She runs back to the waiting taxi, driven to panic by the fact the passenger in the back seems to be leaning over to the driver. The dwarf will see...

"Huh. That's interesting." Toby says, because reedeming a vampire that still wants to feed on people is all sorts of challenging. He walks up to the car warily, shooting the dwarf a warning look.

The dwarf swings the crossbow off her back, and leaps into the taxi, swinging it overhead like a hammer at the vampire.

The vampire, a brunette girl of about 19 or so years old, is bludgeoned by a crossbow! This, unfortunately, doesn't actually harm the undead, so she simply turns around to try to push the dwarf out of the cab. The driver lets out a soft moan of pain as the fangs are ripped out of his throat.

The dwarf is quite good at combat, resisting the attempt to be pushed out of the cab, and continues to bludgeon the vampire. She figures she'll be able to... break some... bones.... zzz

Oh look, she dropped unconcious in the vampire's lap.

Dr. Rein, now wearing gloves to cover his rotting and disease-ridden hands, exits the infirmary after several minutes talking to his daughter. Again, a good half his face looks like he's badly infected with some necrotic, slimy disease.

He's smiling, at first, but upon spotting the situation outside, puts on his usual glower.

Adrian stalks past the ensuing stupidity, hurrying around to the cab driver's door and going to pull it open. If allowed, he tries to move the cab driver out of his seat, probably saying, "Sir, let me help."

He'll try to begin bandaging the neck punctures.

The driver must be dragged or carried out of the cab, as he is rather unconscious at the moment. The vampire makes no move to stop this, though, so the bandaging should be easy.

The girl looks down at the dwarf with furious wrath and bloodstained lips. She licks the blood off and leans over the dwarf to...

Break into sobs.

"I d-didn't m-mean to!"

The dwarf's not going to do anything about it. She's asleep. She might get a bit damp, but her armour's adamantine! It won't rust.

She seems happy to remain asleep on the ground, although she's stirring.

Adrian drags the cab driver a few feet from the car, sliding him gently to the ground before cleaning and wrapping his wound.

Then, still kneeling, he looks up at the taxi again. Expression curious.

Olivia reaches out to clutch at Tobias' extended hand. Her grip is equally strong for her small frame. Her mouth half opens, revealing dreadfully long and sharp canine teeth. The horror and guilt showing in her tearing eyes are mingled with fury and hunger.

Hi Olivia. He smiles at her and tries to gently pull her from the car. I know, it's hard for you, isn't it? But GLoG was able to redeem a very wicked vampire once, so we certainly will be able to help you, okay?

The dwarf sorta sits there on the ground, still unconcious.

She's starting to wake up though! Almost... almost there.

Olivia is pulled from the car! Well, part way. Toby will suddenly feel like he's trying to pull a brick wall out once she reaches the beam of sunlight coming from the opened door. The windows are tinted, obviously, and Nexus physics are different anyway.[/handwave] >.>

The vampire just gives the druid a fearful look. Her mother continues to be worried.

"There's a parasol in the back seat..."

And indeed, there is. A nice big one with nice warm colors and perfect for vampire shading.
