Legion is carried. She's likely a little heavy for a woman. The Lady looks him in the eye, very much enjoying being where she is. "Yeah? Wait for what?"

Hmmm... Good question. Guess we don't have to wait, unless you want to. Jasper says, not letting Legion down just yet. He's pretty strong, having spent most of his life fighting monsters. All this luxury is a new thing for him.

Jasper's Apartment

"Well you haven't told me your plans yet." Legion says, putting her arms around Jasper's neck and leaning in to give him a kiss.

Phil's Warehouse

"Sounds like a worthy endeavour! And also dangerous," Erin says, as she hurries up the stairs after Phil.

"I've got the god of wizards and storytellers with me, I should be fine," Phil chuckles as he starts setting things up.

"Just never, ever, ever say 'what could possibly go wrong'," Erin cautions with a chuckle.

[Jasper's Apartment]

Once they finish kissing, Jasper leans down and whispers into Legion's ear. What he whispers is a variety of EVIL! schemes, from hijacking an a space shuttle to doing... Curtainy things. So, do these plans meet with the lady's approval? He asks cheekily.

Jasper's Apartment

The Lady blushes a little when he gets to the curtainy parts. "Well how can I say no?" Legion raises a hand to cup Jasper's cheek. An amused expression apparent. "Even with a face like this."

[Jasper's Apartment]

Did I ever tell you that you only get more attractive when you blush like that? Cause it's true. Jasper says, as he carries Legion into the bedroom and sets her down on the bed.

Jasper's Apartment

"Nah. But I wish you had. I do it so often, n'all." Legion says, pale face remaining rosy-cheeked, as she's set down. The Lady reaches up to put her hands beneath his shirt, running her hands along Jasper's sides.

Well, if I mentioned everything wonderful about you, we'd never get anything else done. Jasper says, removing his shirt and pants before climbing into bed next to Legion. And in case I haven't said this enough, I love you. He whispers, putting his arms around Legion and pulling the curtain. Or attempting to, anyway.

Jasper's Apartment

In response, Legion giggles again and leans in to kiss him. The curtain is, without a doubt, pulled.

Legion is probably lying beneath Jasper, arms around him, her breathing steadily winding down. She opens her eyes to smile at him softly. "That was... nice."

[Jasper's Apartment]

Jasper smiles down at her, his eyes, one natural, one artificial, looking into hers. Agreed... Y'know, you're the first person I've ever loved who I've done... Anything like this with. He says, between breaths. Kinda the first person I've fallen in love with.

Jasper's Apartment

Hers are that queerly unnatural ice-blue, occasionally marred by a slight twitch in the color or shape of the pupil. "I'm 'kinda' lucky, then." Legion says quietly, giving Jasper a kiss. "I know you're the best man I've been with. I'm just glad I make you happy, too."

She considers something a moment before suddenly trying to roll over and pull herself on top. With a little smirk.

Well, Jasper certainly won't stop her. You do. Just being near you makes me happy... He says, kissing back. And I count myself lucky as well, anyone would, to end up with a girl like you.

Jasper's Apartment

"Ahhh, you do know how to make a girl feel welcome." Legion says, a loving look on her face at Jasper's comments. The Lady gives him a kiss on the cheek, hugging him close. "I just can't believe it took me this long to get in bed. I was so stupid. Missing out..." She gives him a kiss on the neck.

Mm.. It's a lot better when you really care about the person you're with, and I certainly wouldn't advise sleeping with just anyone. Nowhere near as fun as it sounds. Jasper says, running a hand along Legion's side.

Jasper's Apartment

"I meant with you, dummy." Legion says amusedly, enjoying his touch. The Lady smiles contentedly. "I wish I'd done it sooner with you. I just wasn't sure if..." She suddenly stops, blinking. "Um. Never mind." Another quick smooch, Legion's hands running through Jasper's hair and down his neck.

If I was just trying to get into your pants? Jasper asks teasingly. When I first met you, I didn't know you and I liked you cause you were beautiful. By the second time we went on a date, I loved you because you were you. He gently kisses her. I can respect you not sleeping with me until now. I wouldn't have wanted to if you weren't entirely comfortable with it.

Jasper's Apartment

"Yeah. Yeah, that." Legion says with an awkward little smile. Which promptly grows into a pleased expression as Jasper continues with his response.

"Well, it was worth the wait." Mary says, gently shifting a little to one side and trailing her fingers down Jasper's face. "And... and you really think I'm that pretty?" She doesn't sound very insecure, merely curious. "I mean, it doesn't look fake or anything?"

Of course you're that beautiful, especially to me. I can't imagine you could be anything but beautiful, even if you didn't have some sort of divine make-over. Jasper says, as Legion's fingers brush across the scars on his face. Nothing ugly or disfiguring of course, he had all those sort of scars healed. So, what about me? Do my rugged good looks live up to your standards?

Xifra arrives back at the tower, several hours after they parted at the Masks Temple, and looks for Jack.

She'll find Yochanan holding his mask in one hand, studying it eyelessly. He's sitting in one of the arm-chairs.

"Hello, Xifra," The creature remarks without turning, the crackle of the fire backing his words.

Jasper's Apartment

"Barely." Legion says with a grin, leaning up to give him another kiss. She rubs his chest gently. "You must be pretty busy to get all these scars, though. I like them."

Jack's Tower

Xifra sits down on the floor and tries to rest her head against Yochanan's knee and looks into the fire. She isn't wearing her own mask.

[Jasper's Apartment]

Like you wouldn't believe. I think I ended up in the Nexus because my home universe ran out of monsters to throw at me, and decided to make me someone else's problem. Jasper says, reaching up to run a finger across Legion's cheek. And then you got stuck with me. Either way, I'm glad I'm here, and I'm very glad I'm with you. He smiles lovingly.

Jack's Tower

Yochanan doesn't react. He merely sets the mask aside, resting his amorphous hands on the arms of the chair, that meaningless grin splitting his face.

"Does something trouble you?" Yokey asks, in a decidedly neutral tone.

Jasper's Apartment

"You don't have to fight all the time, y'know." Legion says, smiling gently. The Lady rests her head beside Jasper's, expression beaming. "I'm glad you're here too. Just, uh, like I said before... be careful. I'd rather keep you here, so try to go easy on the fights."

Jack's Tower

Lots of things. And she isn't sure where to start, but finally settles on one question, almost at random. "What did you men when you called me your disciple and said I was losing faith?"

[Jasper's Apartment]

Don't worry. Jasper whispers, putting his arms around Legion and hugging her, enjoying the sensation of being this close to her. I've been fighting less and less since you asked me not to... I'd rather not have all this cut short by a single second of bad luck either.

Jack's Tower

"I was equating faith with trust. I assumed Salome had been ordered in our altercation. I had also assumed the intention was to corrupt your trust in Jack and myself. Ourselves. Us. Me?" Yochanan seems unsure what word to use. But it continues nevertheless. "As for the use of the term 'disciple'... that should be obvious. You carry my teachings."

Jasper's Apartment

"See? Everybody wins." Legion says, resting her head against Jasper's and hugging him back. "Otherwise we wouldn't get to have moments like this." She blushes a tiny amount, trailing a hand up the criminal's back.

"I won't let them come between us," Xifra says, nuzzling his leg in an unconscious imitation of the way Salome had been nuzzling her. "Why? Why did he accept the mask?"
