So, I'm in the midst of another fanfic. This one is much more elaborate than the last one. It's a page longer than ... And Apple Accessories, and this is just the first chapter. This is as far as I've gotten. Any comments and critiques are appreciated. Might as well nip 'em in the bud before I start on chapter 2.

I love the very concept of this story. I could really see "Rainbow Dash wants a pet" being an episode in itself, and a falcon...well it just seems PERFECT for her.

That, and the image of Rainbow Dash as a Falconer is just awesome.

I feel like the Cutie Mark Crusaders have dropped off the face of the earth once we got to Rarity's shop though...are they going to play any significant part in later parts?

Also, it does seem like classic Applejack to say to Dash "You should be reasonable", and then also give the totally reasonable excuse of needing Winona for work shortly after. It IS reasonable...which is also infuriating because all Dash can do is just be mad at it. That was a particularly masterful stroke.

All in all? A great story so far, and I can't wait to see the next part!

I honestly still think that Pinkie Pie has a sad, tragic backstory that connects to Fluttershy. Remember how in Griffon the Brush off, she immediately knew that they shouldn't try to prank Fluttershy? I'm betting she did at one point, and it ended...badly.

As for the Crusaders, I'm not sure if they'll show up again. It was more of a Cutie Mark Crusader Cameo, since I realized that if I was setting up Dash as doing things on the edge of Sweet Apple Acres in secret, those three were the most logical ones to find her... since Rainbow Dash had no reason to know they had a clubhouse out there.

Sorry, Scootaloo. I'll come up with more for you to do if I can.

Personally, I found them all worth watching. Knowing what the event was and... well, not who the people were (actually mostly because I didn't!), but what they were, it makes each clip interesting regardless of how much flair they managed to put into it.

Everyone got muffins and I hope learned a valuable lesson about friendship and evil enchantresses.

Is it just me or is there potential there for interpreting Pinkie Pie as some sort of cosmic horror enforcing friendship on the universe? Look at how seriously she took secret keeping, going so far as to be inside the mirror.

Now, what if that wasn't Twilight preventing herself from letting slip the secrets. What if Pinkie Pie was inside Twilight's body, physically manipulating her so as to preserve the status of the secrets?

One of my horrible thoughts for that episode... Pikie Pie wasn't actually there after the very first scene (at Rarity's). The rest of the Pinkie Pie appearance in the episode was simply Twilight's Mind hallucinating while under the pressure of keeping secrets

Ahem. Ahem. Okay. Calmly and reasonably:

For a lot of my life I was a huge introvert; over the past 3-4 years I've been focusing on being more extroverted and overcoming a lot of my social phobias. Maintaining a positive mindset, which comes with doing that, is it's own reward. Essentially I've been operating off the theory that "The world is a wonderful place where people do amazing things all the time for no reason" for a long time and finally decided to live up to some of my own hype.

I don't know where the idea came from, but it came after spending a late night rewatching the MLP series while talking about it on the internet. But I know clearly what I set out to do: Make some random people smile. Even if I didn't get any filming done, I would still have gone out and given away those free muffins out of the genuine belief that people should get free muffins.

I reckon I accomplished this.

It was a huge amount of fun all throughout. The Internet was super helpful and encouraging and the people I filmed were *weirdly* understanding. One guy made me a sweet sign for the stall, one guy gave me $20 for additional muffins, and one guy loaned me his expensive camera with no questions asked.

It was an act of indiscriminate friendship, and really made me realize just how great people are.

Thank you so much for responding! :D Your writing is both fantastic and inspiring, and I swear I'll watch that video the moment I'm out of this lecture!
