He's found that most problems stem from a lack of self-confidence. Once he can solve that, it's generally pretty easy for them to ask someone to marry them on their own.

Well normally, a nap for me involves sitting down and resting my head with something heavy in hand so that when I actually fall asleep, it wakes me up.

I think we can assume that AMEN has about the same number of soldiers as the army. The big differences between the two groups being that one makes liberal use of magic while the other makes liberal use of tech

Does that sound reasonable?

And Harnel, as far as I know, none of the henchmen are mages. Though some of them are equipped with magitech robot arms, I think.

The robbery is being done by some people with a very sinister air about them, though...

For reference so I don't make them over/underpowered, about how many regular soldiers does the empire have, Wolfy? Harnel's idea to make them equal is good.

I don't know. Personally I'd say the numbers should favour one of the sides. The empire if the situation is to be equal due to stronger/more PC's on the AMEN side, or if Empire is supposed to be in a bad spot have AMEN with equal or greater numbers.

Just my thought though.

My thoughts on it were that normally the empire would, in fact, have more troops, but they just dealt with a large engagement with the bugs and now just about every base except HQ has vanished from the Nexus. They've taken losses from those

Also take into account the fact that Phil is about to give the Empire a small army of robots. He hates to see them in danger, but thanks to his instinct and the very nature of his being, they all have some sort of military use.

I think Phil will have to control your own robots, TS, not give them to the empire. Army in the way and all.

Actually, I've figured out that AMEN has exactly 147 normal henchmen. Because that's how many colors we have to use.

Things won't be truly fair, though, no matter how many soldiers each side has. AMEN has a superior number of PCs (or normally) and an air fleet of primitive biplanes. The Empire has superior training, better weapons, a fortified position, hidden snipers and a secret weapon. Therefore, without the air force, there should be more henchmen than soldiers.

But, my tactics are rubbish (WAAAAGH!), I have no military experience and lots of knowledge on the correct medieaval terms.

I figure that the remains of the Empire has about equal numbers, but are much more defensively inclined even though AMEN has the more PCs.

I judge the Empire has about 250 soldiers, give or take 50 or so.

Though, given the power of some of the AMENites, that'll quickly lessen.
