Harnel smiles, "I was just wondering whether she was going to contact us - I don't intend to make any more deals. Once I found out what Libra was, I became a lot more wary than that."

Cessie shrugs, "I don't have more insight in how amoral super beings think then you do Harnel. Why are you wondering?"

"Just something I realized might happen when we go back to Hestopia." Harnel says, "It pays to think about things beforehand. Sometimes, even conversations can be like that." Ironic, coming from the guy who rushes headlong into battle, no matter the odds.

After a few moments, Jyarl, dressed in his black and red power armor, comes walking towards them with a clipboard. He'll look around the wagons and at the slavers before signing something and offering the pair clipboards. "Sign this, both of you. Just means you understand that you left them in our care and that they were in good health when you turned them over."

Din lays on the bad, staring at the ceiling. it's definitely not the first time she's been in one. she keeps on staring at the cuffs in front of her. even though she's had more than these on before...she still finds them uncomfortable. she starts scratching at the skin by her cuffs nervously

Grant walks up to the gate.

I'm here to see Edijar.

Assuming he lets his weapons get confiscated, he'll be escorted to the meeting room once more, where Edijar is waiting for you. "You wanted to see me again?"

Cessie nods to Harnel, "I suppose you got a point there, but... hm, looks like we have to continue this some other time." She says as Jyarl comes walking.

The mage accepts the clipboards and will of course read it before she signs it under. "Alright, may I know your name sir? I'm Cessie Mithar, the council member of watchtower?"

Grant allows his weapons to be confiscated.

I'm guessing you heard that Din turned herself in.

"Jyarl. No last name of importance." The bald man says as he watches them sign the board. "And everyone here knows who you are, ma'am. Also, once finished, the top copy of that, just show to the gate guard, and you'll get your bounty."

Edijar nods. "I have. And steps are already being taken to bring her to proper punishment."

Grant tilts his head to the right.

Do you have something in mind? The Nexus prevents death sentences and being in prison from being real options.

"Those are out of my hand, and aren't public knowledge for the moment. If it gets to trial, you'll know." Edijar tells him bluntly. "I do not handle the legal matters."

If it gets to trial? So she could be punished without one?

"Before we get that far, the people charging her get a chance to work with her to decide if something else should happen between them. If that doesn't work, we offer a Plea Bargain. If that doesn't work, then we go to trial." he explains.

That makes sense. I dunno about those Dalachrech people. I talked to a couple of them and they gave me the creeps. But if it works...

Grant stays silent for a minute.

Din turned herself in while someone was getting pumped for information on her hideout. I intended to go get her myself but this is easier anyway.

"And I guess you're here because of our terms." Edijar says, knowing why Grant was really there. "Sadly, the last contract is void, as the conditions we agreed upon, became impossible to meet. However, I'm required to give you another chance, and, given the abilities you said you had, should be fairly easy for you. A while back, we got word of a person who's been trapping, and stealing people's teeth. Sounds odd, I know, but one of his victims is in the courtyard at the moment if you want to learn better details and get a head start."

Yeah... Well I guess I could see that. Body parts can be used in magic and other stuff like that. I'll be going then.

Grant says as he gets ready to go out to the courtyard.

Harnel will write his own name, likely in much scratchier writing than Cessie - he only has so much experience with writing, after all. "Thank you Jyarl." He says. Once done, He'll bow to the Remnant officer and then start walking to the gate, leaving the aurochs and carts. Presumbly, Cessie follows

"I'm not interested in a bounty, but I suppose I could give it to the slaves, they are going to need it more then me." She says before she follows Harnel out to the gate.

At the gate, the pair are stopped by the guard. "One moment, the amount is being counted as we speak."

Probably gives Grant enough time to catch up with them.

Harnel turns to grant, surprised, "Almost. I fought the guy off before he got them though."

"His teeth were almost stolen by some madman yes." Cessie says, the mere mentioning of the subject seems to make her frown.

Where was this and what did he look like?

"Unfortunately, I can't really give you a good description of him - he was covered in fake blood when I met him, and that covered most of his body. I didn't get a good look because of that. The fight we had was in red zone, though." and he proceeds to describe the park where the battle took place

"If your planning to catch him, I wish you good luck. If you need any help at all, then just come to watchtower and I guarantee we will aid you with any endeavor. In fact, if you do manage to capture him, I'm willing to give you a reward. It's the least I can do for capturing that disgusting rat." The mage declares.

"I'd appreciate it," Harnel says, "One less madman on the streets is bound to be a good thing."

Grant will walk up to the guard.

Would you please let Edijar know that I would like to be there when Din talks to The Dalachrech clerics?

"We'll let him know, but that won't be possible. All such sessions are held between the two parties only, with Remnant mediating." The guard informs him. "No outside influences."
