Re: GtKaP Interview Thread 2: SquirrelKing
Do you, in fact, have any cheese here at all?
Will you go quietly when they come for you?
What is your anti-zombie weapon of choice?
Are you running to something, or from something?
What's the magic word?

Re: GtKaP Interview Thread 2: SquirrelKing
From mangosta71:
Do you, in fact, have any cheese here at all?
Sadly, nothing of consequence. It's all been consumed already. I don't suppose you're offering?
Will you go quietly when they come for you?
Absolutely not.
What is your anti-zombie weapon of choice?
A very large, angry, hungry silver dragon.
Are you running to something, or from something?
To something...namely my girlfriend's arms, typically. Or to my D&D/Pathfinder games.
What's the magic word?
Gazebo
From Arienmir:
1. Spaghetti and meatballs, or pollo al funghi for dinner?
Well, considering we did pollo al funghi for dinner yesterday, how about pork chops instead?
2. Favorite place for a picnic?
At a relative's house, with a bunch of us gathered around the picnic table and the kids playing in the yard
3. Favorite dessert?
I'm quite partial to my mom's chocolate pudding cake, sitting in a bowl of milk
4. Least favorite food?
Chutney or kimchi...can't decide, so I'll say both!
5. Can you tell I am hungry?
What ever gave it away!?
6. When the zombie apocalypse comes who will be part of your stalwart band of survivors?
You, me, Tish, Ivan, Paul, and Michaela (for bait, just in case )
7. Your favorite non-table-top RPG type game?
Scrabble, Time's Up!, and Taboo! are all good fun. If you're referring to video games, I'm currently (as you know) addicted to Dark Souls, and am feverishly anticipating Skyrim!
8. Play-station or Xbox?
I have a soft spot for the PS3
9. Where has all the rum gone?
In your tummy, likely. You know I'm a vodka guy
10. Who moved the cheese? Was it a nice Brie? Can I have some?
Brek did. Aren't they all? Of course...so long as I get to feed it to you! (have any of you guessed that Arienmir is my girlfriend?)
11. Where have you traveled in the world?
Canada, most of the U.S. states, La Republica Dominicana, Australia
12. Where would you like to go next?
Ireland/Scotland on a castle tour
13. What can you absolutely not leave home without?
Clothes.
14. Do you have a teddy bear?
Yep!
15. What is the best way to be woken up?
*pleads the fifth*
16. Should I stop asking questions now?
Never!
17. Was this one too many?
Nein.SpoilerIn loving memory of my grandmother and three uncles who passed this past year. I love you and miss you all.

Re: GtKaP Interview Thread 2: The Succubus
Right. Huh. I usually remember to check that too. Well in light of this information, the schedule, and the number of participants left, I managed to grab a substitute willing to step in for the rest of the interview. And if Lioness happens to come back in the next two days... well then we'll... shuffle our feet awkwardly and work something out.
In the meantime, I'd like to introduce you to the nicest soul stealer around, The Succubus! Give her a warm welcome. Just, uh, not too warm if you want to keep away from negative levels.

Re: GtKaP Interview Thread 2: Lioness
SpoilerReinholdt's Riveting and Rhetorical Questions:
What question would you like to be asked?
Would you like your £1 million tax rebate by cheque or paid straight into your account?
What traits do you look for in an ideal pet?
Easy to care for, probably a very lazy kitty. I don't think I'd have the energy or time to look after a dog.
What is the square root of Pi?
A number.
What's your favorite OOTS strip?
I'd have to throw a bit of a curveball on this one - my favourite strip as such would have to be in Start of Darkness, where Xykon is discussing the nature of evil. It shows good character development and raises some nice philosophical points.
What's your favorite Erfworld strip?
I haven't followed Erfworld regularly since the changeover to the new site but again, the final page where Hamster is trying to work out the nature of the world he is in. Much like the rest of us, in that regard....
How does your ITP persona relate to you in real life?
We both tend to be ruled by our emotions more than we would like to think. I've yet to energy drain anyone into a coma but then again I haven't had breakfast yet.
Sadistic choice time! You must choose to save either the life of your most loved one or the lives of a large group of strangers. Which do you choose?
My loved one, without hesitation. The deaths of the strangers are not on my hands, they are on the hands of the person that forced me to choose.
What is your favorite word?
Holiday. It's a naturally cheerful word with usually optimistic attachments.
What is your least favorite word?
Noob. I truly despise this word when I'm playing online games. It's condescending, insulting tries to imply that skill is a substitute for manners and a personality.
What makes you enthusiastic?
Having a pet project of some sort. Something I can work on in my free time and try out new things. My current one is Inkscape - creating avatars, short comics for a PBP game I'm in....
What disappoints you?
People. Every time I think I've seen the very nadir of what a human can do, someone always manages to surpass it in new and horrifying ways.
What sound do you love?
The fall of rain outside my window at night. A quiet gentle hiss that helps me fall asleep at night.
What sound do you hate?
The sound of my manager asking to see me in their office. It's *never* for anything nice. =/
What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
A hardcore scientist of some kind - a physicist, astronomer - the scientific equivalent of ripping the Universe into tiny bits to find out how it works. Yeeeeeeeah.
What profession would you not like to participate in?
A care home nurse. I tend to see a lot of elderly people through the course of my job and some of the ones we get coming through. I can't imagine having the strength to be able to cope with that sort of environment everyday. For those brave enough to choose that path with all their heart, they have my utmost respect.
Spoiler1. Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character? If so, who?
. Quite an obscure one actually - a character by the name of Sister Death in a game called The Void. She's not the most visually appealing character in the game compared to some of the other Sisters but she has a sweetness of the soul that is unique to her.
2. What is one thing about yourself you're the most proud of?
Making the decision to continue when times were at their worst. I'd rather not go into further details on this one...
3. Roses or orchids?
Neither actually. My favourite flower is one called an anenome. It's a small white flower that grows under the shade of trees when spring turns into summer. At the right time of year, the floor of the woods is a sea of white. It's beautiful.
4. What sustains you, keeps you going every day?
The blood of virgins. Wait, what?
5. How did you get to be so awesome?
Awww. That's really sweet of you to say. The answer? A very, very long time and the removal of the stick from my ass.
6. Where were you ten years ago, and what do you know now that you wish you knew back then?
I often find myself thinking on the past, regrets, mistakes I've made, times I've embarassed myself. I try to tell myself that the mistakes I made were those of a child or young adult but part of me keeps insisting I should know better.
7. If the human race vanished tomorrow, leaving only you and one other person to keep you company, who would you want that person to be?
I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Humans simply cannot function alone or in pairs - we need groups to be who we are.
8. Who is one person who died before you were born that you'd most like to speak with?
Well, he didn't die before I was born but I really wish I'd had a chance to meet Hunter S. Thompson. The man had a very unique outlook on life in his books and I'd love to have known how much of himself was reflected in them.
9. When your life comes to an end, how do you want to be remembered/what do you want to be remembered for?
I'd like to be remembered by what people do after I'm gone. I'd want them to remember me by leading full rich lives, by loving new people, discovering new things, so that when I see them on the other side, they'll have tales to tell.
10. Ga! These questions have taken a turn for the depressing! Quick, what is your favorite lolcat!? (Bonus cookies for posting a pic.)
Not a particular favourite but somewhat apt....
Spoiler
11. What super-power would you want to use to stop Godzilla if he was attacking where you live? The manipulation of time. Being able to speed up and slow down time in a small area could have all sort of god-like possibilities!
12. Beards or babies? I hate both. My beard is a perpetual source of annoyance to me but then I also hate shaving as well. Can't win.
13. Have you ever made up a word? If so, what is that word and what is its definition? Snarkalepsy. You fall asleep after reading one too many Dominic Deegan comics and when you wake up you find you've written a 3 page rant about the Maltak arc in this thread.
14. Define the following word: whiloplenulent?
It's the feeling you get on a summer's day after taking a walk, a feeling that life's problems are not insurmountable.
15. What's an old-fashioned song or short schmaltzy bit of poetry that's stuck in your head? At the moment, I've got the ending song from Bastion stuck in my head. Some really nice vocals and guitar work without a load of unnecessary editing.
16. Favorite mythological monster? I'll give you 3 guesses. I just find something really appealing about the idea of a creature that cannot survive without love. The fact that aforementioned creature looks really hot in a plate bikini is a mere irrelevance....
*cough*
17. Enough of this! I am your arch-nemesis! Where will we fight our final, climactic battle? In the rain. I'm a real traditionalist when it comes to grudge matches and if there isn't a storm with wind, lightning and torrential rain then its not a final battle, it's just a really loud argument.
18. In #17, above, did you defeat me? If so, how? By opening a gate to Hell and summoning a host of succubi to flirt with you and then devour your soul. Incubi also available on request.
19. Do you prefer the silly questions or the serious ones? I find they tend to be much the same. It's all a matter of perspective.
20. Why did you decide to submit yourself to these torturous, probing questions? You don't expect a delectable fiend from Hell to give up *all* her secrets, do you...?

Re: GtKaP Interview Thread 2: The Succubus
SpoilerWhat color(s) do you prefer to wear?
Kinda conservative in my choice of colours - greys, dark blues, whites. I occasionally wear black but not as much as I used to when I was going through my emo phase.
What do you like to collect?
The screaming souls of helpless victims. I don't really do much in the way of collecting - I prefer attaching memories to places and people rather than objects so much.
How many avatars do you have?
Building quite the collection now. Not all of them are mine though, some are comission works. It's come a long way from my first one for anime week:
....to my more recent efforts:Spoiler
Are you ever coming to GenCon?
Probably not - America's a little expensive for me to travel to but I'll definitely be at the UK GiTP meetup.
What type of chocolate do you prefer?
Very, very dark chocolate. It's healthier for you and the bitterness stops you from nomming a whole bar when you're hungry.
What type and how many pets do you have?
Sadly none. I used to keep stick insects when I was a kid. I'd really like a kitty now. One I can love, cherish and keep chained to the wall in my basement to energy drain over and over agai- where'd Reinholdt go?
Do you enjoy watching the Weather Channel? Can't say I've watched it but I really appreciate weather news and stories. As I mentioned above, I find storms very dramatic and exciting - nature doing what nature does best. I also tend to keep a close eye on the Met Office website, especially during wretched hot weather.
Do you, in fact, have any cheese here at all?
I really hope so! I love cheese when I'm cooking - a few parmesan flakes on a salad, some hot buttered toast with freshly crumbled feta cheese on it, maybe a few parsley leaves as well....mmmmm.
Will you go quietly when they come for you?
They will have to find me first. I tend to keep a low profile.
What is your anti-zombie weapon of choice?
My katana. I did bushido based martial arts a few years ago and while I haven't had much joy finding a new dojo, my katana is still one of my most treasured possesions.
Are you running to something, or from something?
A little of both I think. It's always important to have something nice to look forward to in your future.
What's the magic word?
Bacon.
Are there any souvenirs you want enough that you'd consider going on holiday someday mostly to get them?
I prefer to collect memories rather than bits and pieces, although I did leave my hat in New Zealand once and sent my dad half way around the world to get it back for me. I like my hat.

Re: GtKaP Interview Thread 2: evirus
Thank you TigerDuck, for your quacking jungle roar. Sorry to hear you aren't Capt. Happy anymore though.
Next up we have evirus who was new to the boards when we started sign-ups. Hopefully he or she has managed to find a place to fit in since then. Give a warm welcome!
Reinholdt's Riveting and Rhetorical Questions:
What question would you like to be asked?
What traits do you look for in an ideal pet?
What is the square root of Pi?
What's your favorite OOTS strip?
What's your favorite Erfworld strip?
How does your ITP persona relate to you in real life?
Sadistic choice time! You must choose to save either the life of your most loved one or the lives of a large group of strangers. Which do you choose?
What is your favorite word?
What is your least favorite word?
What makes you enthusiastic?
What disappoints you?
What sound do you love?
What sound do you hate?
What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
What profession would you not like to participate in?

Re: GtKaP Interview Thread 2: evirus
Geeze, another one?
Alright. Our time's growing short here, but the stage is open to the first person to PM me who has not already had an interview nor has one upcoming (check the list link in the first post).

Re: GtKaP Interview Thread 2: Lord Raziere
Our next replacement for another slightly shortened interview, I'd like you to thank Lord Raziere for stepping up to the plate! We certainly appreciate it.
