Marley, getting by using a broom for a cane, heads for the lake. Then he spots the ghost of Irene.

"What in the world?"

Tumbili shakes his head, in a cheerful manner and says to Mister Buttons
Never mind clearly seeing he'd get no where with an explanation. so instead, he just continues petting him
After a few minutes of that, he climbs up the wall to the ceiling, hangs from a rafter with his tail, and falls asleep, ((deadtime)) Mtumishi following him and responding with a sighed "I hate it when he does that."

[Main Cabin]

Hey now, Mister Buttons name is Reinholdt!
But doesn't really care what you call him so long as pets are forthcoming.

[Outside]

"Umm... hello."

Yah, considering that Marley was the dude who Cal first showed that he had takeover Irene.

"Would someone explain what's going on here?"

Ghar nods. "Very good. Now, for the more difficult part. A summoned crow is of little use unless you can communicate with it. Even that is limited. So as I mentioned before, linking your senses with the bird is a common practice. It's a much more difficult spell though."

He shows them the hand motions for this spell and then tells them the words.

Sarah probably sets about practicing, in that case. Unless Terrance shows some advanced aptitude, the little blonde will probably have to practice a while before she makes a connection.

A few minutes later, there's a rather odd popping sound, and Sarah blinks. "This is sorta weird."

Outside, approaching the Main Cabin

"I had to be President for awhile. It wasn't fun. Oh, hello Marley. Marley, meet Irene. Irene, this is Marley. He's one of our members here," Quinn says with a weary smile.

She'll put Irene's anchor in a safe place in the main cabin! Wouldn't want it getting damaged.

Outside, approaching the Main Cabin

"Yeah I know. We met once..."

Marley tries to back away a little. He remembers the last time he met her, or rather who was pretending to be her.

Quinn...doesn't have much else to say, as she can tell these two have *ahem* history.
"So..."

"If it makes you feel any better, I'm probably not possessed by evil spirits."

"Not that I'm an evil spirit or anything! I mean I'm a spirit and everything, but not evil!"

Marley calms down. There are ghosts around here. One more won't be so bad.

Quinn gives Irene an encouraging smile, before nodding to Marley and starting torwards the main cabin once more!

Huh. They just took her word for it too. Intriguing.

Anyways, Irene takes a look around, getting accustomed to the new sights.

Well, Quinn has never been the most suspicous of people.
Or maybe she's planning of running Irene through the Fenton Ghost Sieve or something later. >_>

She'll put the anchor in a quiet corner of the Main Cabin!

"...that should be safe enough until I can get the stuff needed for a ritual to get you back into your body," she says softly.

...ohey, she's also trying Detect Evil.
Not that she expects a result of anything other than 'Chaotic Nymph'.

Don't be silly. She gets "Reinholdt character: Alignment not found". As per usual.

Irene's chaotic?

"Right. Thanks for everything Quinn."

"You're welcome, Irene," Quinn says, smiling, and trying her best not to tear up. "I...I'm glad you're back."

She really hated herself for breaking her promise. Even without having a choice. But she's determined not to show it.

... Right. Course she didn't exactly grow up a nymph.

Irene smiles back.
"I'm glad I'm back too. At least... I think I'm glad. I don't know where I was before." She can't remember anything about the afterlife at all.

"Doesn't matter. I'm here now."

Ah.
"Tobias Druid," Mikani says proudly, before giving Mister Buttons a 'don't eat the monkey but I'll give you a good fish' look!

"Wow!" says Haruki. "Your father is Tobias Druid? Why... I've never heard of him before in my life!"

.....yeowch.

Mikani puts her hands on her hips.
And glares at Haruki.

Then she turns to stalk off and to the main cabin!


Main Cabin

"Well, we can work on that.
...if you want to.
And you are here, that's what matters. It might be a few days before I can power the ritual though...
...unless you want to stay a ghost for some reason?"

Irene puts her hand out and it passes through a wall. She frowns and pulls it back.

"Not particularly interested, no..."

Outside

Mikani puts her hands on her hips.
And glares at Haruki.

"...hmpf!"
Then she turns to stalk off and to the main cabin!

((Uh.... we were already in the main cabin?))

"Huh... that was weird. Oh, well. Note on unusual vampire activity's been given. I suppose I'd better go warn HALO about it.....

"Unusual vampire activity? Are they drinking flower nectar or something?"

Quinn pauses.
"So, um, is there anything you want to know? Or just to talk about?"

"Umm... so what happened to Crimson and Phoenix?" Irene asks about the two people she was closest to before things happened of course.

Main Cabin

"Crimson...kinda wandered off. I think. My memories from back then are kinda fuzzy," Quinn says sadly. "Phoenix...I haven't seen him in awhile. He's on the council, though."

[Reinholdt]

Main Cabin

"Oh." Ghost Irene says about Crimson with a frown.

"The council? Is that some sort of new organization?" Irene asks.

[Haruki-kun]

(I thought they were outside the main cabin?
Well, maybe she just stalked off..)

Mikani spins back around.
"Unusual vampire activity? Are they drinking flower nectar or something?"
Zing!

"No, more like they're gaining abilities they shouldn't have, like shooting lightning and not burning when they touch me. Also, I think they're possesed. Be careful."

[The Bushranger]

"Oh. That kind of unusual. Why didn't you say so?"

"Thanks. I'll be careful!" Mikani promises.

"Yeah. Just having one person as President was...kinda stressful," Quinn admits. "So we set up a Council of Elders, I guess you could call it."
There's even a ghost on it!

Main Cabin

She was referring to an ACRO organization.
But gets the message.
Though she doubts any actual elders are on it.

"Oh wow. Phoenix is still here then? Think you could send him over when you see him next?"

"He isn't around much. But I will."
Quinn nods, then frowns a little.
"...how far can you move from the anchor? I don't want you to feel packed away or anything like that."

Main Cabin

"I dunno. I'll let you know when I figure out. But I'm a ghost. I don't think you could pack me in anywhere."

She pauses. "You look kind of tired. I'll be ok here if you need to sleep or something." I can't imagine a draining ritual and carrying all that stuff back here and staying up half the night wouldn't be draining.
