Feron coldly approached the bar, paying the Alumaril no attention. "Excuse me, barkeep. It seems you have quite the problem." As he says it he motions with his head towards the two Sarli's trying to slip out unnoticed.

But before the barkeep can respond the fairly drunk man next to Feron flings a stool into the tables behind him. Calmly Feron clears his throat, "Excuse me, barkeep. It seems you have two problems. Perhaps I can help?" A small, barely visible smirk appears across his face as the words hang in the air.

Martin steps up and steadies the staggering warrior. "Easy now friend. Take a seat. Here's a deal. You call it a night, as it's getting late, and I'll get you a pair of pints tomorrow. On me. Or if you choose to make trouble, I'll have to lay you down a little less gentle with the help of this fine sir behind the bar. Do we have a deal?" He rights the man on his seat and nods to the newcomer speaking to the barkeep. "You seem capable enough. Care to give me a hand?"

Feron slight shrugs his shoulders, the massive wings on his back moving much more noticeably. "Sure, why not?" His deadpan voice almost lost in the noise of the tavern.

He turns to the man now sitting on the stool, still very drunk. "You sir, should have another drink, stay calm, stay merry, and leave the aggression be. The world has enough evils in it, trust me, I've seen them. I think you should take this other man's kind offer and suggestion." Once again he nods, this time towards Martin.

Ek'ala wanders into the village, having just had a remarkable time on a fishing boat. "those boats are neat! Utterly useless in war, but perfect for travel and fishing. I wonder what new wonders this place has in store? Like that shouting over there!" He walks purposefully to the source of the commotion, and finds a spectacle. He sits down at a table to enjoy the action.

Attempting to voice a retort, Twm raises a finger towards them and tries to get a word in edgewise. True to comedic portrayal of drunks, he instead collapses forward, out cold.

Martin lets out a chuckle at the warrior's collapse and hefts his solid weight over a broad shoulder. "Did this fine man purchase a room, or shall we put him in a corner?" He asks of the barkeep. He then turns to the winged man before him. "And I'd be inclinced to agree with you, Raven-man. I learned that fact in a military hospital, tending to those beyond my ability to heal after I gave up fighting. That didn't last long, by the way. How about yourself? You don't seem like a warrior."

Ek'ala's stomach begins to rumble, making him realize he hasn't eaten all day. He goes up to the barkeep and inquires, "Might I get a meal and a drink? No strong alcohol please, I have no need for it. Oh, and are you going to do anything about those Sarli? Because I'd be happy to help."

Feron turns to face Martin after the large drunken man has collapsed. "No, not a warrior, but one does not need to be a warrior to experience evil in this world. And you may call me Feron and I may call you?" But before the Karmainian can answer he hears the newly arrived dragonborn's question for the barkeep.

Turning quickly to face this new arrival, "Excuse me, but I believe I inquired into that line of work first." Once more the words hang in the air, this time with perhaps a tinge of bitterness.

"Okay. Let me get this straight. You want to catch that Sarli. If ya do I'll give ya free food, drink, and a nights stay here. Oh yeh and a decent meal costs 30 silver. Both of ya can do it if ya want."

Whispered the Durzite. Only Martin, Feron, Ek'ala, and Tytharas seem to hear. Strange since all the noise.

"I apologize, I did not mean any offense," Ek'ala backpedaled. "However, can we not work together? For a team is more than the sum of its parts, and you seem to be a nice fellow." Ek'ala pauses in thought, then remembers something. "I always forget to mention my name. I am Ek'ala Lodo" He turns to the other two standing up at the bar and poses a query "How about you as well? Between the four of us, we could take on many perils! What say you?" His eyes widen, somehow making him look like a small child asking friends to play with him.

Tytharas sighed, she had hoped to watch a brawl. She picked up the crows blood and took a sip.

Tytharas: "Chasing down thieves isn't really for me..."

[Wyntonian]

Martin also voices his interest "I'd be happy to help, as long as it's not vigilante justice. My name's Martin, by the way. Martin Brannigan, Cleric of Dylian. And madame, we'd be happy to have your help. It would mean a free drink and a bed for you, if nothing else. Please consider it." With that he draws loose the sling from his belt and places a small rock in the pouch. "Shall we?"

Feron nods, "As long as the reward isn't adjusted for the addition help, I'm fine working together. More hands would make the job go quicker and I could use a nice meal and roof over my head tonight."

[Omeganaut]

"Alrighty then, Shall we head out after the theif?" Ek'ala proposes. He points at the door the theif left by, and then walks in that direction at a brisk but unhurried pace.

"Okay. You people can all do it. But no more than five. I only have enough room for five unreserved."

[Wyntonian]

Martin trots out the door after the Dragonborn, his loaded sling light in his hand and his shield over his back. He looks from side to side, purposely looking for any Sarli with dark fur.

You look at the muddy street. As you gaze out into the fog you see the two sarli alone trying to enter the Cellerdoor of one of the houses by a lockpick.

Tytharas stayed, sitting on her chair, taking sips of her ale and waiting for her meal.

After about half a minute a Steaming Fish with some seaweed was handed placed infront of you by a Dunesti girl.

Tytharas felt long forgotten joy return to her. Tytharas thanked the girl and prepared herself to consume the fish.

Tytharas' Thoughts: "Food! Real food! After weeks in the hull of a ship only living off gruel."

Martin nods to his companions, signaling them to spread out and surround the two cat-people before making their presence too obvious. In the meantime, his sling begins to make lazy circles in the air.

Feron nods back at Martin, but opts not to move. Something about a 5-foot bird man seems easily noticeable to him. He does however start to ready his crossbow in case, as he quickly glances around to make sure this isn't an ambush, while whispering, "Be careful, remember there was a third one that got away."

Ek'ala decided to hide just around the corner of a building to try to hide his noticeable orange scales. He searches around, trying to penetrate the mists.

He pulls out his sling, makes sure his spell components are handy, and makes a hand motion towards the others as to say "Whenever you're ready"

Martin looks arounds but sees nothing suspicious except the two Sarli. Which are partially obscured by the think fog.

Ek'ala
Seeing through the fog you notice something strange. While one sarli is opening the lock the other is chanting and waving its arms around. You think it is a spell.

Ek'ala stares deeper into the fog, trying to make out what exactly the Sarli are doing. He fits a stone into his sling, and then puts his left hand into his spell pouch.

You see it is a Conjuration spell that is a Variant of Obscuring Mist. It enables the user to move the mist around as long as the concentrate. That way they can still see.

Okay, With the other two allies ready, Ek'ala runs to within range and casts color spray

A Chromatic Spray of colour spreads from your palms. It hits both the Sarli which turn around just to see the colour. The Sarli which had been picking the lock instantly drops to the ground. The other tries to run backwards into an alley. Unharmed by the spell.

Martin makes a quick calculation. He decides that if the retreating Sarli is within twenty feet, he decides to drop his sling and move close enough to begin a grapple. If not, he decides to loose his loaded sling at his target and take off in pursuit.

Martin seeing the Sarli run lets loose a Bullet at the Retreating Sarli. It hits the back of the Sarli can it collapses to the ground in pain.
