Ok bronies, I need your help finding a reference. I need a pony doing a happy ^_^ sort of face but with her head pointing upwards, sort of like you see when people win a running race or something, arms up and stuff.

Failing that, I have to rethink my drummers pose >.>

Personally I tend to just stick a bunch of references together until I get what I need. For the body/arms you could easily use Pinkie Pie from... I think it was episode 2. The party where she's popping up from the bottom of the screen with confetti. It's early and I haven't eaten yet, my brain won't tell me what episode that's from.

Alternatively Rainbow Dash while she's interrupting Twilight in Applebuck Season. Pretty sure she throws her arms up during that. Then all you need to do is find a reference for the facial expression. As for how the head points upwards, I'm going to direct you here for help since no immediate references come to mind.

Someone really needs to take that pen away from him... the power is clearly corrupting his mind...

So! Special talents of Kyouhen involve trolling everything that moves. The server was a PvP anywhere server and I had managed to get a reputation as that annoying guy who keeps killing us and really needs to die. He was basically an assassin who favoured bows and was exceptionally good at not getting caught.

I like the bow cutie mark, but it isn't good enough. I need an idea to get across either him being stupidly good at sneaking around or him being stupidly good at trolling people to the point entire guilds would try hunting him the instant he was spotted.

No sword nor dueling pistol would do for Metal Mask; he was a shipper, and shipping was his weapon of choice. He rotated his mask ninety degrees to the left and began,

I think we are going to get along just brilliantly, Mr Mask," the slightly ill-looking pony's grin recedes, giving way to a smirk which is in some ways more disturbing, "as agreed, then, I give you my name: Flock Leadwing," he says before taking the page, folding it neatly and placing it inside his pocketwatch in a bizarre method involving three hooves, his mouth and some skilled balancing through precision wingbeats. After finishing, his eyes fall and he announces to the room at large, "It is rather hard to manipulate items without unicorn magic, so I have to make do," his cheeks briefly flushing to a colour more reasonable for a living being.

Leadwing turns away, eyes glazing over as he stares at nothing, "I have limited space to write, so I had better be careful with my choices. Decisions, decisions..."

Edit: The manic grin was a one off, Raz, I assure you. A pestilent smirk is Leadwing's expression of choice.

Trollestia, trollingest queen of Ponydom, found herself bored. Every day, it was the same. Raise the sun, up, up, up - then pretend to drop it on Equestria to troll the ponies - then pick it up and get Luna to carry it all the way to the horizon.

Luna could do with the exercise, after all. She was getting a bit porky. Maybe a heavier gravity planet would be a good banishment spot next time.

But she was bored. Her life was nothing but ponies, trolling ponies, and lifting the sun up. She needed something new...

And then her eyes fell on a four winged pegasus who was writing a story under a tree, minding her own business. Instantly an idea came to Trollestia. She didn't know why, or where it had come from, but she suddenly had an unstoppable urge to bondage that pony up...

CONTINUATION OF THE CELESTIASHIMMER SHIP

"Princess Celestia!" Shimmer said in surprise, "I'm sorry for not bowing, but under the circumstances..."

"No excuses," said Celestia, finishing the knot around Shimmer's hooves.

"While I'm not, uh, entirely unused to this kind of thing," Shimmer said, squeaking a little as Celestia tied her first pair of wings together, "What's the occasion?"

"I... suspect magic is at work here," Celestia said, lovingly pulling the ropes tighter, "An ancient artifact called the Ship Note was created centuries ago by powerful shippers. If a pony writes the names of two other ponies in the ship note, they are obligated to make out."

"Oh, really? So... why the bondage, then?"

"I think that's just because I think you look good in ropes." Celestia said, carefully tying Shimmer's second pair of wings with her own tail.

"So are we going to... stop it or what?" Shimmer asked.

"I'm sorry, I got distracted there for a moment. What did you say?"

"Are we or are we not going to work on stopping the spell? I mean, I'm fine with whatever you want to do."

"I suppose we should stop this. Who knows who the culprit will ship next?" Celestia said, sounding disappointed.

"So you'll untie me?" Shimmer said, "It's - mmph!"

"Sorry. It's a very strong spell," said Celestia, gagging Shimmer

Better find an image of some character you would never ship with Celestia to protect myself.
Off the top of my head, I can only think of Geralt, Spock,Spike, Darth Vader, and JC Denton. Sadly, I don't want any of those as my avatar. Must keep thinking....

You're going about this the wrong way. Try to find a character that would be rather difficult to ship with Celestia, but would be worth it just to see done. For example, I don't think I've seen a single ship involving Madame LeFlour. Celestia banish it, now I want to see this ship done.
