"I wasn't bragging, I was... just... ugh... nevermind."
Reinholdt plops back into his bed and rolls over to face away from the group. Now in an even fouler mood than his already foul mood, cause he was trying to defend Olivia and she figuratively spat in his face. Plus his orders from Andy were to kill Legion and Jasper on sight. Well to hell with that. If they were going to see him, he could take care of it himself.

Infirmary --> Outside

The Lady starts to stand, feeling there's not much point in speaking with Olivia. Then her face scrunches in annoyance.

"Oh, death threats! You're such a good guy now!" Legion says to Rein. Jasper can probably drag her out the door, but she's still glaring the whole way.

[Reinholdt]

[Infirmary]

Reinholdt's mood improves just a little. Heh. The idea of him a good guy. He's not, hasn't been, and never will be. Just the way things are. He doesn't recall ever claiming otherwise. Well except for back then. In fact, the irony is, he used to believe he was the good guy, doing things for the world, helping people all over, and now believes he's the exact opposite. No... knows.

The slightest hint of a grin, however, is hidden by the fact that he's facing the other way from the glaring Legion as she's probably dragged out.

Outside

Legion and Jasper likely go here, in that case. "What a hypocrite. I'm from AMEN, and I probably do more good than that bastard." She turns her glare to the campsite, expression softening. "Let's find this Andy guy. I remember him takin' my stuff."

Outside

Hey now, they've got "Good" in their name! Twice! Obviously they must be absolute saints who can do no wrong, even if they do let complete and utter monsters join and threaten to kill us. Why, we should all be in awe of their endless compassion and infinite reserves of goodness. Jasper says sarcastically. Honestly, what else did you expect? They outright declare themselves "good". People like that are always full of ****.

"Yeah, well, they can't be all bad." The Lady says with a sigh, gesturing at her bandages. Then she starts off toward the cabins. "C'mon."

[Infirmary] --> [Outside]

Olivia follows Jasper and Legion out, not having any reason to stay in the infirmary with Reinholdt. She scowls at them, but doesn't bother correcting them by pointing out that Reinholdt is here for redemption like her. Because GLoG exists mainly to, you know, redeem people, and the redeemees aren't exactly saints.

Anyway, she pointedly stalks off in another direction so she can enjoy the overcast day in peace.

Yer probably right. Jasper says, following her and looking around for Andy.

[Lakeside]

Reinholdt, finally fully healed, has removed his bandages and turned himself back into a cat, something he was sorely missing. And finally gets to sunbathe on his rock at the lake.

Though, as per usual, he doesn't appear to enjoy it, seeming more depressed and lost in thought than usual.

[Entrance]

A very interesting scene is about to happen. A long wagon drawn by a pair of oxen is being drawn towards the campsite. Driving it is a half-dragon many may recognize as Harnel, likely with Cessie sitting beside him, as well as a goblin woman who probably looks quite frightened of the fact that she's not on the ground. A grass fey is swimming through the grass next to the road. on top of the wagon there's a bunch of people in rags as well as the PCs that deigned to go up. And yes, even Nogri the troll woman should have been able to be put on top of the wagon, unless it would be structurally unsound.

The party will be greeted by Reelshka. The goblin woman is, needless to say, rather surprised. This also means she's not around to tell Jasper off for being an immature pain in the neck.

[Campsite]

Sophie is around, looking for Irene.

Outside

A strange caravan of 2 wagons is arriving. It's not strange because of the wagons, which are pulled by ordinary oxen, or because of the wagons, which seem to be rather normal looking wagons. Instead it's strange because most of the passengers are riding on the roofs instead of inside.

Presumably Harnel starts helping down the wounded people which include:

• Lisor, a female goblin with bandaged feet (played by Harnel)
• Balik, a male goblin with an amputated arm, unconscious but stable (npc)
• Arturo, a male human who is unconscious
• Up, a human female who is badly emaciated and malnourished
• Richard, a human male who probably just needs rest to recover from being encased in glass for some time (npc)
• Jasper (eep! continuity error! x.x)

There are also a group of (physically) healthy rescued slaves, which include a couple of humans, a goblin female, a halfling family, a troll woman, and a Wolfen male.

Whisper, a fey girl is running alongside the wagons, holding a handful of grass and munching on it. "This is a <untranslatable> place. The dead live here." she says to Cessie.

Irene can be found... floating I guess.
She gets really bored, being a ghost, and still stuck in GLoG. So she largely spends that boredom trying to work with redeemees or testing her limits so that she might be able to go other places some day.

She needs a ghost touch sudoku, clearly.

((Harnel brought as few Carts as he could manage. Assuming they've packed everybody together, I see no reason why the trip should require more than one or two. and yes, he's bringing the former slaves down now.))

Waiting with Reelshka are three elves. There's a tall woodelf with red hair and green eyes, a short wildelf with black hair and purple eyes and in the middle heightwise a highelf with brown hair and blue eyes. Cacame, Sattael and Nishtar are here, remembered, and willing to help.

Lakeside

Something falls into the grass near Reinholdt. There's no birds which could have dropped it, and it's a distance from trees (since trees can block the sun, I assume a sunbathing rock has no nearby trees) so the only logical place for it to come from is the clear blue sky. Although that bit over there is green.

Reelshka approaches the half-dragon as he helps the slaves down.
Who are those people? What happened to them?

[Campsite]

And Sophie walks over to Irene with a sour expression. You were right. Tobias is extraordinarily difficult to deal with.

((Let's say 2 wagons then. Though someone might want to go back and salvage the supplies and oxen at some point, either for greed or to make a fund to help to slaves start over.))

Reinholdt blinks, torn out of his thinking stupor, and looks around. dives for cover on the other side of the rock, away from whatever was dropped.

He clearly expects this is a grenade dropped by either a teleporting or invisible enemy.

He quickly puts on his forcefield necklace too, while pulling out a glass and peering through it, to give himself the ability to see things as they truly are for one hour! No invisible sneaking!

[Campsite]

Irene gives a short laugh.
"Yes. Well, if they were easy, I suppose they wouldn't be here, now would they? At least you don't have to do this job while talking him down on the battlefield." Irene says.
That's the hardest.

[Halae]

[Entrance]

"Former slaves," Harnel says as he brings the last of them down, "we rescued them from some slavers, who're now stuck inside their own prisons," he pats the side of the wagon, indicating where that prison is, "We were hoping you might have some healers on staff for the ones who were injured during the rescue."

[Earl of Purple]

Entrance/Outside

The three elves will help the slaves down, assisting Harnel however they can. To an extent, anyway.

Lakeside

I suppose that patch of green sky isn't helping much, is it? It looks slightly bigger through the glass.

Anyway, if Reinholdt looks carefully, he'll find a brass ring, small enough to fit around one of his fingers. It's well-crafted, twisting in an ornate pattern that would be even prettier in gold, or bronze, or a more expensive metal than brass. Set into it is a small, facetted chunk of blood-red glass imitating a gemstone.

"Yes, we also need to take these slavers to the proper authority." Cessie adds. "We need to rescue some other slaves as well as some slavers managed to escape. But until then we humbly ask for your help as I understand that's what GloG do." She smiles at the goblin.

[Morty]

[Entrance]

Slaves... There's a dangerous gleam in Reelshka's eyes. One thing that's more or less universal among the goblins of her homeworld is their hatred of slavery. Even the most immoral goblins usually despise it. We do have healers here. We need to get them all to the Infirmary. The five GLoG drones begin to hover their way. To Cessie, she responds: That would be correct, yes. We'll discuss it in detail when the injured are properly taken care of.

[Campsite]

Good point. He might be negatively predisposed to me now, but I'll try my best.

[Reinholdt]

Lakeside

After the thing doesn't explode. Reinholdt looks around.
... Huh.
He pokes around in the grass for a while before finding a ring.
Hmmmmm....
He pulls out his gold mask and puts it on to peer at the ring. No doubt, it's cursed and they're just tempting his curiosity.

[Campsite]

"Oh? Something in particular? I suspect he's negatively predisposed to anyone trying to help him. People like him usually are. I think it's a pride thing." Irene shrugs. Nothing to be done there.

[Halae]

[Entrance]

Harnel knows first aid, but not much, so He'll let the three elves do their thing

Lisor, the goblin girl that's missing part of her feet, doesn't move out of the way, knowing them to be healers, but is obviously scared - she's heard some things about Elves that, while not untrue, are greatly exaggerated.

[Earl of Purple]

Lakeside

The ring is magic! I seem to recall Reinholdt using the mask on the D20 Artifact recorded as Truggalump's Amulet. If I am correct, then the vivid, flashing colours and morphing aura suggest the two are linked.

Entrance

The elves, seeing Lisor's injury, are visibly alarmed. One, the wildelf, says something. "Do you want us to help you to the infirmary? We are not doctors, but we were slaves once. We know what it's like." Sattael's lisp is gone; he's got used to speaking again and the feel of a tongue in his mouth is no longer unusual. "I am Sattael, this is Nishtar and my other friend is Cacame." Nishtar is the highelf and Cacame is the woodelf.

[Reinholdt]

Lakeside

"... Huh." Another one that makes you walk backwards? Reinholdt puts the mask away and picks up the ring. It's gotta be a prank or a trick. It's not to be trusted! He stares at the ring. Clearly the answer was just to put it away and not put it on. Clearly. Any time now. Sure, he'll never know for certain what it does, or if they work in tandem or anything. But that's ok!

Cessie can't help with any of the healing, but she can help by summoning elementals to carry stuff and so on.

"I appreciate the help, could I ask for your name however miss...?"

I'm Reelshka Trollfinger. A member of the Council here. She will lead the rest towards the Infirmary and deadtime on the way.

[Campsite]

I suppose I didn't handle it very well... Sophie admits reluctantly. I asked Quinnn about him, and he overheard. He was extremely offended that I'd implied he still believes his former methods to be justified. He kept threatening to challenge me to a duel.

Outside

The two halfling children start laughing and running straight for the Giant Slide. Their mother is about to stop them, but decides that anything that can help erase the memories of captivity is probably good for them. And they both know how to swim. But she follows them, watching them closely.

Brand, the halfling male, assists as well as he can with getting Lisor to the infirmary. "Don't worry. It'll be okay."

Infirmary

Nurse Piper starts doing her job. Heal heal mend mend. Quinn or Tobias will have to come in behind her though, for the more serious cases.

Lisor accepts Brand's help thankfully, and Harnel will help anyone who needs it to get there, including carrying the unconscious people if necessary
