Goro is assuming that the combination of Taro Banzuke and the present Captain of the 11th Division can handle the Concierge, and so focusing on getting communication set up with HQ.

Aura is gone, and the third of the invaders is in the Seireitei, rather than the mine.

Seiko is, currently. Is it necessary for the plot for him to escape, or is it okay for Seiko to keep trying to take him in? Trying to take him down is in character for Seiko, but I don't want to mess with plot too much.

i hear ya...with Aura gone Aya is probably game to engage the Concierge...with the guns of the truck destroyed Taro and the 20 10th Division members are game to enter too... an Acting Captain, a 3rd and 4th seat and 20 10th unseated should be enough to at least capture the Concierge i woudl think...

if Concierge needs to escape that can happen...if getting caught would be worthwhile ...the group there seems able to make that happen too...

i dont knwo the plot though

Technically only the Concierge's truck needs to get back to the mortal world to further whatever the plots of the driver's current employer are.

On a metagame level, the Concierge is a good character have free, because s/he's a great plot enabler - s/he allows characters who normally have no access to the spiritual realms to get there. And s/he may be needed for such a plot soonish - however, that plot's got other avenues it can probably explore.

Still, I'd prefer it if the Concierge went free.

I see your point with all of those, and I especially empathize with wanting to see your character go free (I've been toying with the idea of Cassandra surviving the Samsara arc because I like her so much). Armin's appearance sounds good, and it makes the Concierge's escape plausible without throwing the Idiot Ball around. Sounds good to me!

Given Cassandra's recent interactions with Hasunaga, I think that she'd be more likely to stab him than listen to him.

I think I'll not involve Aya in this and concentrate on her trying to heal Goro.

Unless the plot allows the possibility of the Concierge being captured.

Keep in mind that this is also, in all likelihood, happening around the same time as Aura fighting Aya and Goro. Otherwise, she's held down by Plot Shackles.

Im up for whatever with the Concierge, but maybe Edge could let us know what he wants done here, so we can make it work in the RP...otherwise it may get harder and harder to make the getaway make sense.

With my big Sumo character Taro, i was trying to have a fun little parallel of him having a Sumo match with the truck...each pushing hard on each other...maybe the truck cant go forward, due to Taro's strength or something, but no one thought to stop it from going backwards...and it opens a portal and gets away, even with some slashed wheels, and Seiko holding on until the last moment or something.

I dunno, just an idea

Lessee. At a minimum, we need a judge, the defense attorney(s) (those bastards sure aren't going to defend themselves), a couple of witnesses, and probably a script.

For extra fun and drama, we could put on the defendant's bench the yakuza who commanded Kaito's parents' failed assassination attempt.
