The door unlocks and you enter the tower! You are faced with a simple brick corridor, torches along the length of it. At the end of the hallway is a door.

You can hear some voices from the other side of the door, though you can't make them out clearly.

(Note, this is my third roll, the last times I messed up and had to redo.)

Unfortunatly Bast, you can't hear them any clearer.

Shall we open the next door? There's people behind it, but I can't make out what they have to say.

Carric's elf ears perk up, and he hears what Bast could not.

You hear two Tieflings. One of them talking about how the intruders the Eladrin recruit saw probably got lost, and how they are proobably wasting their time guarding the entrance. From what you can gather, there may actually be three Tieflings in the room, though one of them isn't talking. Additionaly, you can hear the occasional growl and clattering claws of, you'd assume, two Drakes

Assuming Carric looks like he's listening for something (cocked head or some such.)

Can you hear anything?

Teodor readies his spear and shield, and prepares an action to use Commander's Strike with Bast.

[Ranger Mattos]

"I can hear two tieflings talking, but there might be three in the room. And I can hear a few drakes moving around," Carric responds.

Shall we go in?

[Blue Ghost]

Juniper draws his sword and smiles. "Let's."

[MoonCat]

Bast nods and opens the door.

[LaZodiac]

Bast opens the door to a large room, as expected from your map. Readily apparent are the two vicious looking guard drakes, spiked collars round their neck, and three tieflings, one resting againest the farback wall, a large sickle tied to his waist. Apon spotting you his eyes light red, and he shouts "Intruders. Kill them!". His voice echoes heavily. They all draw their weapons, and I'd recomend you do the same.

You don't recognize his voice, so you'd imagine he's the third, less talkative Tiefling.

On that note, time to roll inititive!

Ah, almost forgot to roll initiative for my guys.

The fellow in red is the Blackheart, and just as a note he is also smoking. The Guard Drakes growl at you in that wierd way drakes growl (being lizard, it is kinda wierd that they growl, but regardless they do).

"Carric, keep the one in the back busy. Bast, let's hit the others."

Where's Teddy?

Ok! Here is the initiative order.

Tiefling Blackheart, Teodor, Bast, Carric, Tiefling Ruffians, Guard Drake, Elden, and Juniper.

Anyway, the Blackheart stops sloaching againest the wall. With a deep sounding cough, smoke starts to billow out of his mouth. As he walks forward, his body slowly begins to turn into smoke. You can still tell where he is, and that he is a Tiefling, but he looks much like a smokey mirage. You are almost certain that he can't be hit in this form.

So yha, Tiefling Blackheart becomes like smoke, and moves to D3

Teodor's turn, and as a reminder you can walk through ally spaces.

Hmm, when I think about it, doesn't Teodor grant an initiative bonus? Because I forgot to take it into concideration (which means that my initiative result may be higher).

You'd be right Teddy, you are the only one I didn't make sure was factoring in the initiative bonus as well. So yha, you go before the Guard Drakes. Quite convienent, that.

How large is the bonus? I never can seem to remember it...

Right now, +1.

Teodor moves to I2 and readies an action to use Opening Shove should anything move into range of his spear.
