Because I don't particularly care about her and have several ways that could end up happening. Soft is under the impression that Chrysamere is the source of her Paladin powers, but that's not true.

I don't know. It's one thing to have epic level spells being flung about in the town. It's another to usurp what is ostensibly the power of a goddess. For that matter, it makes Luna look weaker than she already is.

It's possible that since Luna is younger and is supposed to just be raising the moon, she's weaker than celestia.

But i agree, stopping the sun is just... INSANE. Especially since the sun moves so slowly that there'd be no way to tell it'd stopped until hours had passed.

Okay I guess that could work. But the false Sun will have to be really big and really hot to make this new character scary enough to draw everypony's attention.

Piccolo: perhaps on second thought a whole 5 minute start up time for an attack is pretty abysmal in terms of usability in battle.
