So, since this thread doesn't want to move, lemme recap the situation in a couple parts.

What everyone knows:
-Door's broken.
-Looking for girl.

What only Torrim knows:
-Girl is evil.
-Probably hiding in room (invisibility, maybe?).

What Torrim does not know:
-Gartrand attempted to follow him.

What only Gartrand knows:
-He's on the rocks, unconscious.

Current situation:
-Theo asked Torrim where's girl/Gartrand.
-Amdal's...wait, what is Amdal doing, again?
-Dastria is...hmm, what excuse can we make for her to not respond for however long she'll end up being gone?

edit: I told them that I was going to follow Torrim before my... Accident. This should fix the problem of no one knowing I'm missing.

Gartrand moves to the window I'm going to follow him, hopefully I can get the door open.

"Gartrand, I know you're an elf, and I've heard that elves like climbing trees, but theres no bushes to break your fall here, and you don't look like that great of a climber. No offense."

Amdal steps in the doorway behind Theodric. "Good job theo. I was worried your crazy weapon was gonna hurt somebody. Do you see the girl?"

Well, I'd understand the characters still calling her by the generic, but you could at least give us a name to refer to her in OOC or something.

EDIT: Just looked at my Perception roll. She's got to be invisible or something, since I rolled a freakin' nat 20. She couldn't have gotten out through the window since Torrim had seen they were both closed.

Theo - Something seems a bit off about the floor under one of the crates behind Torrim. Looks like it's thicker there.

"Hey, that floor's kinda funny..." Theodric moves the crate over the floorboard out of the way and examines the floor more closely.

Moving the crate, it becomes obvious, even to Theodric, that the floorboards here are actually a door of some sort. The handle had been covered by the crate, but it is clearly visible now.

"Hey, Torrim! Amdal! Come see! It looks like a door or something." Theodric points out the hidden door to the drow and halfling.

"Huh, a hidden door." muses Amdal. He lifts open the door.

Lifting the door, Amdal reveals a long ladder leading down to what looks like a dock. Seems the ladder goes half way, reaches a platform, which appears to have another ladder down to the dock.

The salty air of the sea wafts up on a warm breeze.

AMDAL

Amdal hops down the ladder and scans for the little girl. "Theo, did you scare her away with your whirling blades of doom?"

"You think she might have fallen in or something? We should go down there and see if she's okay." Theodric climbs down the ladders to the dock.

Turt, yes your 20 is certainly good enough here.

Amdal notices the ladder has been greased, seems it has been done hastily as the grease is quite noticeable in some spots and does not cover the entirety of both ladders.

"Watch out for the grease. I guess this guy didn't want anyone sneaking up his ladders." The halfling nimbly climbs down the ladders.

[Necro_EX]

"Great, first Theo nearly kills us all and now we're having to scurry down a greased ladder?" Dastria says, entering the room Torrim is in. Looking about quizzically "Where's that fog-minded wizard, Torrim?".

Dastria then descends the ladder, easily enough with Amdal's warning.

Dastria and Amdal both spot something out on the rocks in the shallows. Taking a moment to take it in, it becomes apparent that this flesh-blood-and cloth mass is Gartrand.

"Well, now we know where he went. So, who's going to swim over there to get him"

"Wait, what?" Theodric turns toward the direction Dastria motion toward and spots a mass of blood, elf, and wizard robes intertwined on the rocks. "What's that?"

[Necro_EX]

"That's our hollow-headed wizard friend. You do remember him, right?" Das replies with her usual sharp tongue.

Theodric wracks his head for a moment, then responds. "Oh yeah! ...How did he get there?"

[Necro_EX]

"Can't recall what he said right before taking that plunge" always with her estoc-like tongue she continues "Perhaps if you be a dear and fetch him I can see if he is...salvageable. Then you can ask him yourself." motioning stongly toward Gartrand's direction.

"Okay!" And with that, Theodric sets down his backpack of goods and dives into the water, swimming to the rocks where Gartrand lay.

Theo dives into the water moving through the water in chain like it was cloth. Making haste, the strong fighter gets at least halfway to the rocks where the dying wizard lie before the water puts up anything resembling a fight. As the water pulls upon Theo and his weighty equipment something goes off in his head, may have been a thought! Something along the lines of "Oh, yeah I could use my arms for this!" He pushes through, reaching the horrific mess the wizard had left himself in.

As Theodric takes Gartrand from the rocks it seems he did not notice the tide had been rising or that the wizard does have some weight. The two quickly sink into the water.

Well, let's start off with a swim to get back out of the water.
Considering how strong Theo is, you guys likely won't drown unless you have the worst possible luck on these rolls
