[Reinholdt]

"A mute then. Thank goodness." Reinholdt breathes a sigh of relief. He once got in a mime-off with a professional mime. The result was deafening.

"So is it ok if I name you?"

Reinholdt gets pulled away AGAIN for a deadtime. Should only be an hour.

The elf tilts his head. Name him? Yeah...

He then shakes it. Nope. He'll survive without a name. Or at least, with no one knowing it.

"him called little not-talky-man," Baby says. She's a helper! "hi, little not-talky-man!"

She takes a cookie a handful of cookies. Yum yum!

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt grins.
"Should've let me name you little not-talky-man."

"Anyways, I met this potion dealer out on the streets, and was wondering if either of you knew whether her potions were reliable or not."

[VampireRot]

The elf shrugs. "little not-talky man" isn't enough of a name to concern him. He then looks thoughtful. Potions dealer?

...

The elf has not met any potions dealer, and can't exactly drink any potions either. He just shrugs again.

"baby says, drink potion, then you know," Baby says, nodding sagely.

[Reinholdt]

"... Right. Well when the time is appropriate."
Reinholdt doesn't really want to drink a love or desire potion when the people he's talking to is little not-talky-man and a dwarf named Baby.

Aww. The elf is totally hawt though!

Just... tiny. And mute. He shrugs and offers another cookie to Reinholdt and Baby.

Fez-Hat Reinholdt is not gay to my recollection.
Even though he can technically make out with himself.

He eats another cookie though!
"They are really good."

Bah. We need some fairies in here, obviously. In those little dresses that are literally made of leaves. <.<

The elf nods sagely. Of course they're good, he made them! He happily feeds on Reinholdt's and Baby's appreciation for him and his baking. What, you didn't think he gave out free cookies for nothing, did you?

The itty bitty dresses. And who shrink people. Clearly.

The elf gets dinner.

Reinholdt doesn't have any more though. Two's enough.
He does order some regular food.

Kaesar strides into the tavern, wearing not his usual attire but instead a rather plain blue tunic. His favorite clothes are being repaired after an annoying alien went and bled all over them. Sitting down at the bar, he smiles at Fez Reinholdt and the elf. So, how you doing? No more monsters trying to eat you, I hope? He asks the elf, taking a cookie.

The elf gives Kaesar a thumbs up. Nope! No other monster attacks, luckily.

[Reinholdt]

"I suppose it'd take a monster to want to eat a cookie maker." Reinholdt says.

[ThirdEmperor]

Yep. Damn things bled acid too, pretty much ruined my favorite coat. Kaesar says, munching on another cookie and ordering himself a Wizzard Blizzard. So, who're you? I'm Kaesar, master mage without compare, and the Sorcerer Extraordinaire.

[Reinholdt]

"I'm Reinholdt. Just... Reinholdt."
Compared to Reinholdt, Treasure Hunter Extraordinaire, who'd thwap Kaesar for trying to imitate his bit and not even throwing in a flourish.

Actually, Sorcerer Extraordinaire is his job, the equivalent of being a court magician. Admittedly, he did bribe several people so he would get the job, but nonetheless, it's just a title. Hence why he says it so matter-of-factly.

Nice to meet you. You wouldn't happen to know anyone who's hiring mages around here, would you? Kaesar asks, trying to shake Fez Reinholdt's hand.

[Reinholdt]

FHR has no problem shaking hands.
"Not in particular I'm afraid. But there's bound to be an organization or two around interested."

[ThirdEmperor]

Hmm... What kinda organizations you got around here? Kaesar asks, sipping his drink, which only just arrived.

[Reinholdt]

Fez Hat Reinholdt explains the base information about the different organizations. He doesn't know much more than that, though.

Thanks. Er... Yeah, I gotta ask, or else I won't be able to stop thinking about it. Not to insult your government's capability, but why does this AMEN thing still exist? Cause, it seems to me that the best thing to do would be to wait for plenty of villains to join, then reduce the place and everyone in it to ashes. Now Kaesar's really curious. Pretty odd that such a place would be allowed to continue.

[Reinholdt]

"From what I understand about the government, it's a militarily enforced oligarchy, in which the people largely have no say. I've even heard rumors that AMEN is actually on the government now. Or in control of it. I dunno. Depends on who you talk to." Reinholdt shrugs.

"This isn't exactly my native town. But if I had to venture a guess, I'd say a large amount of money is exchanging hands." He drinks his milk and has another cookie anyways. Cause milk with cookies is awesome.

[ThirdEmperor]

Ah. Politics. Kaesar nods sagely. All about backstabbing. Money and power as well, I suppose, but mainly backstabbing. Can't imagine this AMEN place will be part of the government much longer.

[Reinholdt]

"Dunno. Maybe. Maybe not." Reinholdt can't say!
"Who knows? Maybe they'll hire you." The government that is.

[ThirdEmperor]

Huh. Y'know, that's actually a pretty damn good idea. Hadn't really considered it, cause I generally avoid government work on principle- His current, well, probably former job by now, as Sorcerer Extraordinaire was enough to convince him of that. -but if the government is anything like what you said, might be worth giving it another shot. Thanks. If you ever need any magical help, I'll be around. and with that, Kaesar finishes his drink and leaves for the Remnant HQ.

[Reinholdt]

"Not a problem. I'll probably be around here somewhere." Since Fez-Hat Rein belongs to no organization.

"Best of luck with the interview." Reinholdt tips his glass a little as Kaesar leaves.

Fade is even more confused now.

"You drink to forget things, but you can't forget them cause after you are back to normal you remember?"

Poor Fade now he nearly forget why he firat talked to her.

"Boo." Billinillib was going originally for another one, but this is a nice, beginner's level knock knock joke, as opposed to the orange one.

There is a ponderous pause before Bellan responds, "Boo who?"

"There's no need to cry, it's only a joke!" It's not especially funny, nor is it new. It may also be incompatible with Bellan's anatomy.
