"Well, let it never be said Jasper Thorn let good treasure rot." Jasper takes his own drink and chugs it down, not particularly wanting to taste whatever it is they put into DLBs. "You eve wonder why it's so... utopian, around here? Seriously, all the 'bad guys' are confined to a few groups that never actually do anything, the government is somehow not corrupt, and... I dunno, always struck me as a bit fishy."

[Murkus]

"Well, the goverment never does anything. There's that Red Zone, and we rob people all the time without any repercussions." Legion shrugs. "Sounds wrong to me."

[Gullara]

"I didn't know what it was to begin with. I had went there with a woman." Beorn is quite blunt about that. Considering his origins, one shouldn't expect him to. Not that Rein knows those origins.

[Reinholdt]

"Ummm.... errr... right. That's umm... good to know..."
Reinholdt shifts uncomfortably in his seat.

"Well it doesn't matter now."

[ThirdEmperor]

Fair enough... Still, it is pretty weird. You'd think that the crime would be a lot worse than it is, considering the lack of laws and all. Jasper shrugs. Not that I'm complaining, obviously. He smiles, leaning back in his chair.

[Gullara]

"It does not. I was only curious." Beorn says. Beorn doesn't really understand Rein's discomfort, but he'll respect it.

[Reinholdt]

Jasper really doesn't want crimes to be worse. The Nexus has been down that road already.
And he's totally complaining.

"You were curious?" Reinholdt thought he was the one who asked? Oh. About the AMEN then. Well he guesses that makes sense.
"So what were you doing in the wilderness? Building a cabin or something?"

[Gullara]

Beorn laughs heartily. "No, not building anything. I was hunting." That definitely explains the small blood stains on his pants.

[Reinholdt]

"Ah."
Reinholdt's got a rifle on his back.
He doesn't like hunting.
Especially in the Nexus. It's scary just to walk on grass.

"Get anything good?"

[Gullara]

Beorn has no gun, or weapon of any sort... Those muscles look pretty dangerous though. Where you can see them through the hair that is.

"Only a pair of deer in my most recent hunt regrettably. Tomorrow's will be better."

[Reinholdt]

"Right... good luck with that."

"So here relaxing after a hunt then, huh?"

XD Maybe he is. I'm sure Beorn would recognize a fellow fey though... right?

"That's correct. Normally I would rest in the woods, but I decided to come here today. What is the point of coming to a new world if you don't explore what it has to offer?"

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt has pink pupilless eyes. And is 1/11th will o'wisp. I'm pretty sure he's part fey at this point too.

"Hiding from the people in the last world that want to kill you?"
Reinholdt offers as an option.

[Gullara]

I still don't know the story behind the half will o' wisp thing.

"No, no. This world is attached to my own. I was hunting in the deepest parts of the forest of my home and found a path here. It was surprising to find places such as this." He gestures around at the tavern in general.

Reinholdt Prime was traveling through the Weald to look for herbs for his Apoca-Con remove sapience attack. Ran into will o'wisps and got partially turned into one before he was rescued.
And that's why he can fly!

*looks at multitude of bad characters* Yay!

"Interesting. So people show up here by mistake all the time?" Makes for good hunting. But... not the people of course. Right?

"Game must arrive in much the same manner, yes? I will have to keep an eyes open." This guy would just love to go dragon slaying. He doesn't have those where he's from. At least not the DnD variety.

"Pretty much, and I imagine so. I never really looked into it honestly."

"They say the leader of AMEN is a dragon, so if you want to hunt real game, you could always go for him. It'd be The Most Dangerous Game."
