Cutie Mark Crusaders Spy Corps!

The Big Mac / Apple Bloom dynamic seems right to me. He's clearly taken on the role of surrogate-father-figure with Apple Bloom; he knows what he believes is right for her, and he doesn't hesitate to gently scare her back into line. On the other hoof, he isn't serious all the time with Soarin. He talks with him, like an equal (mostly), instead of down to him, as would be expected of the American father when the daughter's beau shows up. (I'm not sure what the social mores/expectations are in other countries in that situation) Very much enjoying this, even without having read Sunny.
