I want to play a character who's ability is (poorly) imitating characters from comics, video games, TV and so forth and gaining their powers.

Obviously he cannot simply steal superman's powers, because his chin isn't heroic enough to imitate superheroes.

It does remind me that I recall a documentary stating that simians (or perhaps only hominids) are among the few animals capable of seeing the colour red. Essentially because red leaves are nutritious. Anyone know if that is correct?

My difficult-to-name Lab Escape character may be an elf, her ear is at least. But considering she has limbs from four different creatures, that may not say so much.

Usually they are controlled by whoever is using them, however as noted at the opening page they have names you might want to go after.

For example the bartender in Trog's is a grumpy gnome named Cosmos, everyone can have him serve their character beverage but they all play him the same if you know what I mean.

I am quite sorry that I wasn't clear enough before. I want someone to control them because my character is going to get information from the server. And I don't know much about Nexus.

I can't help but notice the whole "non-violence" aura thing has one glaring flaw though: It doesn't prevent people from messing with your mind. As it is, a wizard could just walk in, start drinking tea, and mind control/mentally torture all the patrons one by one. So, yeah, something that stops mind-affecting abilities from functioning within the teahouse might be smart.

...Yeah, except that mind control is about as violating as rape. If not more so. And how is torturing someone not causing them harm? So you can consider them both out.

Why don't you try going along with the spirit of the idea rather than trying to find loopholes, hm?

If a player really wants to "find loopholes", s/he will manage to be disruptive no matter what IC precautions are taken. But FFRP kind of hinges of people not doing that.

Sorry to bother you about the Den, TE, but you might not want to continuously turn all the bullets incorporeal. It leaves Keith's attacks entirely ineffective. Maybe expend the ghosts removing some of the shots, but not all.

Oh, also, should I get a post up for that gang-based robbery that Orrey's running?

To be fair, it's totally up to him whether or not the bullets are effected at all. And the spirits are gonna fade away after the next round anyway, as they can only stay on the corporeal plane for limited amounts of time.

As for the robbery, sure. Random Places and Plots, or Riverside?

As I said, totally up to you. As for Keith dying, Sam Saturday might be able to bring him back. Stopping bullets isn't the only thing summoning spirits is good for. Y'know, if you don't mind.
