The Fountain of Undeath is an ancient, storied well. According to legend, the first vampire was a mortal who drunk from its magical water; the same legend says the water will re-mortalise a vampire that drinks from it. Other legends, however, say the same thing about it except substituting 'vampire' for most other sentient forms of undead, including ghouls, revenents, self-aware zombies, and so on. Lichs aren't combatible with the legend and so there aren't any varients for them.

You don't have to edit a response in now I've replied, but it's possible that what the mad dwarf said didn't sink in for a while.

Okay, just thought it was fair to warn you cause with the suppression field down, Dalev can return and easily summon up a horde of demons. I'd really prefer not to have an all-out war between Eastside and Westside, mainly because the devastation caused by Dalev alone would be pretty massive.

Especially seeing as you got annoyed the last time he even set foot in Westside.

Actually the annoyance was from just jumping into a scene that was already in progress for a barely justifiable IC reason.

And hordes of demons? Seriously? Don't you think that a bit... excessive?

If vampires are going to waltz into Eastside and cause trouble with the local business owners? No, not really. Seeing as a lot of people came to Eastside to get away from vampires, their religion has "Telasur will protect you from vampires" as one of the main perks for worshipping him, and Dalev does not like people questioning his power, it's like kicking an antpile. Full of imps.

I'm not saying he'll start a war over one incident, but if the vampires have any intention of continuing to interfer with Eastside, he will raise hell.

As for the "barely justifiable IC reason", a field of energy that weakens and slowly kills you appearing around your city is a pretty good excuse, in my opinion, to go investigate any incidents going on in the areas said field is coming from.

Dalev might find that if he starts summon demons nilly willy, the servants of the burning light that are starting to set up shop in Eastside are going to be on the vampires side in this.
