Re: Playground Squares XI: And here we go again!
Is it an awkward segue into an unrelated question?
Just kidding. Prosody is the act of attempting to convert someone to a different opinion, particularly a religious or philosophical one.

Hmm.
Hmmm....
I'll disagree on account of Fawkes not using any exclamation points in his answer!

Re: Playground Squares XI: And here we go again!
It was related... very vaguely. You try coming up with questions and catagories, I'm getting an awful lot of respect for the previous hosts, I have to say!
As for the question, Reinholdt... let's see whether you were right to disagree.

Eh, good enough. Reinholdt, you were correct to disagree. Prosody, is, in fact, the study of the metre of verse, often associated with poetic verse - seeing as a lot of poems have different metres and rhythm.

Monty Python! Don't you love Holy Grail.
Quick question today (got these darned AI that keep trying to take over my planets...). Which was the lowest budget Monty Python Film?"I'm just going on motive and opportunity here and the fact that if the earth got swallowed by a black hole, I'd look suspiciously in your direction first."

Re: Playground Squares XI: And here we go again!
Ooh, budget! One of the lesser known aspects of Monty Python, for sure. Interesting fact, all of Monty Python was on a relatively low budget, but it's by far the best known British comedy here in America.
The lowest budget was Monty Python and the Meaning of Life. Not only was it the lowest budget movie in the MP franchise, but my least favorite as well.Avatar by whatever Zjoot became.

Can I have a mechanic here to help me fix this please? I don't want people dying of D'aww.
Anyway. You were right to disagree. Depending on definitions, Holy Grail had a budget of £229,000, and And Now for Something Completely Different had a budget of around $100,000. Meaning of Life had one of the higher budgets, at $9,000,000.

Huh bwa wha? *looks up*
Oh, you guys need a question.
How many 'na's are there before the first "BATMAN!" in the infamous themesong?"I'm just going on motive and opportunity here and the fact that if the earth got swallowed by a black hole, I'd look suspiciously in your direction first."

Re: Playground Squares XI: And here we go again!
Now, at first this may seem obvious, but the devil is in the details!
While there are 8 'nan's and 8 'a's before the first Batman, and while together it sounds like 16 'na's, there are in fact No 'na's before the first Batman.Avatar by Me!

Oooh. Hmmm... mmmm... tricky, tricky.
But if I can't trust a mime to speak the truth, what can I trust? I'll agree.

Re: Playground Squares XI: And here we go again!
SpoilerDING
But Billtodamax wasn't quite right. There are no 'Na's before the first batman, because 'Na' does not feature in the theme tune. What you sing as 'Na' is just the guitar.
Lex-Kat, your turn! Note to self, need to think of harder questions...

Re: Playground Squares XI: And here we go again!
Whew.
I think the questions are plenty hard. So far, I've survived off a technicality, a guess based on the number of explanation points, and trusting a mime when he says something isn't said.

Re: Playground Squares XI: And here we go again!
Please not any harder. The Surprise one surprised me that I was correct. As for the Python question, I knew Meaning of Life was expensive, only because I remembered they'd spent a considerable amount on the opening musical number.
And that being said, I'd like Bushranger.... Woo! I'm INVISIBLE!! *Flies over the audience nekkid, waving my hand over my face* You can't see me!!

It is inevitable, of course, that persons of epicurean refinement will in the course of eternity engage in dealings with those of... unsavory character. Record well any transactions made, and repay all favors promptly.. (Thanks to Gnomish Wanderer for the Toreador avatar! )

Re: Playground Squares XI: And here we go again!
There actually are several Na's (or maybe Da's) in the theme song - 13 of them right before the last Batman.
