[VampireRot]

"Well, nothin' else I thought of really beat a dragon's hoard o' gold."

Ermine grins and takes a long swig of rum.

"Excellent. What do ye know about 'im an' his cave? From what I know o' 'im, we're gonna 'ave ta be prepared ta steal 'is stuff."

[Reinholdt]

"I do. His cave has probably changed since the last time I went there though. His cloning formula likely would be on a computer not connected to any network. So we're likely going to need a hacker who can get in and download the files as a third member. Or learn how to do it ourselves. I think I remember where his secret garage entrance is."

Reinholdt stole the Magmobile once.

[VampireRot]

"I don' know much about computers. Do ye know any'un who could hack 'is? It shouldn't be too 'ard ta get in between tha two o' us."

Ermine continues to drink.

[Reinholdt]

"Afraid all the hackers I can think of already work FOR him." Reinholdt ponders.

"Though... I may have another idea if we can't find one."

[VampireRot]

"Hmm... An' what would dat be?"

Still drinking.

[Reinholdt]

"Well, I could go to the wish shop and wish for a device to plug into the computer that will automatically hack it and download the schematics we're looking for. It'll cost something, but probably not as much as pulling on a third person."

[VampireRot]

"Hehe. Dat does sound like a better idea. Magic be fun."

Ermine grins. Also rum, but I really don't have to mention that.

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt sips at the rum.
"I even know an old hideout of my old boss we can put such machines in. Or even tuck them in that dwarf stronghold under GLoG. They'd be quite safe there no doubt. Finding someone to build them might be a bit more difficult, but one step at a time, right?" Gotta get the schematics first.

[VampireRot]

"Aye. Might not want ta put it in GLoG though, dey might disapprove o' dat. Yer ol' hideout seems like a good idea if it be secure an' unused."

[Reinholdt]

"Well the guy's dead and I don't think he used it much anyways. Should be safe."

Reinholdt ponders.
"Now what do we need? A plan. A map to where we're going. Ways to get around the defenses, preferably undetected. Hmmm..."

[VampireRot]

"Well, I gots me invisibility necklace fer sneakin' in. Do ye 'ave anyting like dat?"

Ermine ponders.

"An' I can whip up a map real good if'n ye show me the area and where we need ta go 'n stuff."

Captains are good with maps! Though usually they can write too, so I wouldn't exactly trust the pirate's skills.

[Reinholdt]

"I have an invisibility wand, but I don't know if invisibility like that is enough to bypass technology like his. We should do some tests. But it has to be on Magtok related stuff... Aha! The Magmart! It's a perfect testing grounds." Reinholdt grins.

Then looks at Ermine funny. "If I could show you the cloning tank area, we wouldn't need a map to show us how to get there, would we?"

[VampireRot]

"Oh. Right. Dat's what ye meant by a map. Don't fink we're gonna get a map o' tha inside of his cave." <.<

"Testin' tha invisibility sounds like a good idea."

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt sips his rum just a little, but his attention is really elsewhere by now.

"Right. That's probably going to be number one on our list of obstacles. Finding out the route to get in and get out. With back-up escape plans. Always back-up escape plans."
Hmm...
"Well, I don't really have any plans for that quite off the top of my head, so let me know when you want to go to MagMart. Or the Witch's Wish place."

[VampireRot]

"I don' see no reason not ta start preparin' it right now. 'Cept maybe the fact that we 'aven't finished our rum yet."

Ermine drinks more of her rum.

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt shakes his head a little and pushes away the rest of his rum.
"Something like this, I think I'm going to prefer to stay sober."

No doubt the rest of his rum will be wasted without Ermine intervention.

[VampireRot]

"Ah, dat's where we're different. I best 'ave some rum in me 'afore doin' some piratin'."

Ermine quickly finishes off her rum, and will probably snatch Reinholdt's too.

"Let's go."

[Reinholdt]

"Alright? Which place first?" Reinholdt says, standing up and leaving some money. He stays in human form because he figures that while he will likely end up doing this all in cat form, this is a test of the invisibility vs. Magtok's cameras. Wouldn't want to accidentally cloud the test by being missed from being too small.

[VampireRot]

"Let's try out tha invisibility first. So's if it don't work we can plan ahead."

Ermine would've paid for the rum, but she isn't going to complain if Reinholdt wants to.

She hops off the seat and will follow Reinholdt.

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt heads to Inside then!

Tina gives a snort after Kirk says 'thankfully', but lets the two men greet before interjecting. "We weren't sure what you play, though. The Admiral suggested harmonica?"

Kirk turns a wry smirk on Tina, but otherwise doesn't react to the snort.

Anyway, Kirk is pleased to see Raril's enthusiasm. "That's good to hear. You don't see nearly enough musically inclined people around here." He waits for Raril's response to Tina's question.

Raril pulls his old silver harmonica from his shirt pocket. "My first instrument." He explains, smiling fondly. "But I am quite well versed in others. And I have a few places we could play, too."

[Murkus]

"Places we could play? Like here?" Tina asks, eyebrows rising. This could actually work. And well.

[The Bushranger]

Meanwhile, the doors open and...a cloaked figure enters the bar as mysterious music plays!.

The figure pauses just inside, then pulls down the hood of her cloak, revealing...well, she looks rather like a Drowess. Except instead of ebony skin, her skin is a pleasing shade of grey, and her ears are slightly more rounded than those of a pure-blooded Drow.

She heads for the bar and takes a seat.

A smile creeps it's way across Kirk's face. "I like what I'm hearing. What do you think of the blues, Raril. We're leaning that way at the moment. Harmonica, saxophone, piano... whatever the Admiral decides to play." Probably the guitar, I'd bet. "On that note, any chance you already know the Admiral?"

[Morty]

Yet another plotclone of Wenomir undeadtimes in the Den. Mostly because his player feels he hasn't been playing him enough lately, despite all the plotclones. He's sitting by the bar and drinking, quite bored.

"I certainly hope I won't be the one feeling pain." Percival says simply, finishing his newest absinthe and glaring at it before looking toward Ivaz again.

The demonazi picks up a menu quietly. "Do you know if the narcotics here are any good? Alcohol doesn't seem to work, but these things might."

Ivaz simply chuckles at the first comment.

The narcotics? Dude, you're in a world filled with pretty much anything you can imagine. I think it's safe to assume there's good stuff around here somewhere.

[Murkus]

"I'd bet. Have you tried any?" Percival quirks a brow at her, giving a small smile before turning his gaze toward the menu again. "Would you like to?"

[AmberVael]

A slight wind stirs within the Den, staring slowly as it gathers dust and unattended scraps; its speed grows exponentially and its spiral pattern tightens, swiftly forming into something far greater than its component parts. Scraps of paper, dry brown dust, broken glass and crusts of bread slide together to form a woman cloaked in a black, ragged robe with dark skin and narrow eyes, and a wide devil-may-care grin filled with somewhat sharp teeth.

Shadows swirl across her arms and face artistically, forming and dissolving patterns as she moves towards the bar and takes a seat.

"Hmm..." She examines her own arms and form critically, then smiles at the current barkeep. "Black Shadow seems appropriate. Make it fast." Normally her second request might provoke a bit of a comment, but she backs it up by brushing her arm across the bartop and spilling enough gold coins from her sleeve to pay for ten times what she's purchasing, so Blackeye scurries to fulfill the request.

[The Bushranger]

The cloaked part-drow at the bar, possibly sipping a drink of indeterminate type, undeadtimes and looks around as the newcomer arrive. Raising an eyebrow as she notes the ragged robe and sharp teeth, but nodding simply in greeting.

She's seen stranger, of course.

"I'd bet. Have you tried any?" Percival quirks a brow at her, giving a small smile before turning his gaze toward the menu again. "Would you like to?"

Nope. Ivaz shakes her head. Not really into that stuff much. Tried it, didn't do it for me.

Works well enough for tortures, sure. But, eh, just not into it.
