Oh, man. I seem to have become a fan of cliffhangers, so there's a couple chapters you might be talking about. You probably want Chapter 7. It was my first cliffhanger, and easily the one that got the most attention.

Sadly, you can only give ratings to the story as a whole (though I think you can go back and change them). I think FF.net has chapter-by-chapter ratings, but...I haven't been updating there. It doesn't preserve my section breaks, and that annoys me. But I'll do it eventually.

Yeah, but the answers to those questions were really awkward and Midnight was still really little at the time. This on the other hand, while certainly as embarrassing as anything could get, shouldn't result in the same level of freakout and floor melting into. Unless she was freaking out because Midnight borrowed her and Trixie's "special" book, that opens up a whole new can of awkward.

I'd encourage you to give it a try. Believe it or not, I was pretty much the same way a few months back, except if you asked me to read fanfiction I would probably think nasty thoughts about you and whoever wrote it.

Now? I'm polishing up my first story, critique fanfics on the side, and consider them a part of my usual reading. [/selfpromotion] But seriously, just go through the stuff in the "Nice Fanwork" section. The level of quality is high and they're really quite enjoyable.

I know what that's like, I only recently read Misted Stage and I still haven't read A Study in Rainbows even though I have been meaning to for a long time.

Edit: @dromer: I usually read fics that jump out at me for some reason, also ones that get recommended to me. Fallout: Equestria was a recommendation, I had originally avoided it because I thought it would be as bad as a Fallout/MLP crossover would be expected to be. Needless to say I was wrong about it.

Well, it isn't the parentage. I appreciate that Esper came up with a way for two mares to produce offspring that acknowledged it was an unusual event (unlike other fanfics I've read). It's just that it combines a lot of things that don't strike my fancy.
