Nope, no way Sakura is backing down. Not for a second.

"That's just dumb. Killing people and stealing is terrible. There's nothing bad about sex. You're not making any sense."

She wishes Adir was here right now, she could use the support.

[Reinholdt]

"No. There's not. Just Lust." Saul says, agreeing with her in a way, while countering at the same time.

"And what about Pride or Sloth?" Saul asks. "They too, could be considered sins that hurt no one. Choices people make if they want to. Do you consider anything wrong with them?"

[Gullara]

Sakura frowns more deeply even as she begins to gnaw on her lip again.

"I don't know. I just know you're wrong about the lust thing. There's no way you can be right."

It's her right to lust over Adir, and there's nothing wrong with that as far as she's concerned. Her arguments are growing increasingly weak however. She's not really the confrontational type to begin with.

[Reinholdt]

"Why?" Saul asks, curious as to her reasons.

[Gullara]

"Because- because it's good. It feels good and it makes us both happy. I love him and that should be enough reason for it being fine."

The dryad is all flustered now. It's hard for her to organize her thoughts. She's not exactly completely comfortable talking about this with him.

"What makes you think you're right about anything. All you said is that it's bad without any good reason. What should I care what Terenti or whatever says?"

[Murkus]

Up to the teahouse comes a new face - specifically a tan, antlered one. Adir heard Sakura say she was going out. Why not join her? Maybe... he could talk a little about the baby. He'd been neglecting her, in that regard. Now that he's here, though, y'know, maybe they can talk about something else...

However he's feeling, Adir steps inside, glancing around for the dryad.

[Reinholdt]

"There are reasons why Lust is bad. STDs. Unwanted pregnancies. Rape. Abuse." That time with Adir in the forest probably comes to mind briefly.

"While none of these might apply to you, the sin itself is still there, prior such relationships frequently detracting from the relationship you are supposed to end up with, in marriage. I make no judgement either way whether the father is that man or not."

He sips his tea. "You do not have to care what Terenti says and no one will force you to care, nor listen, to the redemption he has to offer. He does, however, care about you."

[Gullara]

Adir will more than likely see the increasingly distressed Sakura talking to Saur. He's probably close enough to hear what's been said since he arrived. I don't think the teahouse is very big.

Sakura balls up her hands in fists, seeming on the verge of tears. She hates that he reminded her of that incident in the forest. Adir never meant to hurt her!

"What do you mean he cares about me, when he says my soul is unclean just because I like to be with the man I love? That just sounds terrible."

[Murkus]

Adir hears most of it, yes. And stops short, getting an idea of what they're talking about. He visibly deflates, looking unsettled by Saul's words.

Still, the conversation's upsetting Sakura rather quickly for some reason. So Adir recomposes himself as best he can and steps toward the two.

He moves near Sakura, looking at the priest of Terenti with a vague expression. "Um, hey, are you okay? Who's this?" The stag gives a mild smile at Sakura.

[Reinholdt]

The restaurant has wings. It's probably big enough.

"You misunderstand. He wants you to be with the man you love, just not in a sinful manner."

And then, hey look! It's the person in question.
Saul pauses to let Sakura answer the questions since they were directed to her. He gives Adir a polite nod.

[Gullara]

You actaully expect me to read the OP of a thread? Madness.

Sakura turns to face Adir rather quickly, relieved to see him, though still clearly distressed. "Adir." She stands quickly to move beside him, trying to entwine her fingers in his.

"No. He's saying that we're being sinful and that it makes our souls unclean and something about being damned. It's just wrong."

The dryad still has tears in her eyes. She doesn't respond to what Saul has just said. She hates it, all of it.

[Murkus]

"Oh." Adir seems to gain confidence. He hadn't caught the whole conversation, but now he understood pretty well. The stag scowls at Saul, taking a moment to think up his reply. "You told her she's gonna burn in hell? For having sex with me?" Adir's frown turns disgusted. He sounds like he's heard this before, or at least heard of it. "Unless we join your church."

[Reinholdt]

"No. I do not pretend to understand what occurs in hell. Nor do I care whether you join the church or not. Repenting and following the seven virtues is what is desired. Though if both of you are closed off to the idea that you have sinned, as have we all in the past, then there really isn't any more to discuss." Saul says, attempting to end a conversation that is not going to have any positive results due to an impasse on a key point.

[Gullara]

Telling these two that the shouldn't curtain was his first mistake.

"We never did anything wrong." Sakura says firmly. That concretes the fact that this discussion is going nowhere. Unless the goal was to upset Sakura of course, which it was not.

[Murkus]

"Don't dance around it. If we refuse to follow your rules, we're bad people. That's exactly what you're saying." Adir doesn't appear especially angry, merely irritated.

"But you've got that right, at least. We should go." Adir tries to drag Sakura out've the teashop. Since it probably would've ended there whether he arrived or not.

[Gullara]

Since that all seemed rather definitive, I will post now. Hopefully Saul had nothing more to say. >.>

In any case, Sakura goes along quite willingly with Adir, clutching his hand tightly as they do.

[Reinholdt]

Saul shakes his head. The antler man completely misunderstood. He doesn't consider them bad people. But that won't stop them from being purged in the coming cleansing fire to make way for paradise.

Oh well.

[Murkus]

How very logical!

Once they're outside, Adir likely looks at Sakura to see how she's doing. "So... did you wanna go somewhere else?"

[Gullara]

[Outside]

Sakura still looks altogether irritated and upset. She takes a deep breath and musters a small smile for Adir. "Yeah, we should. Any ideas? I kinda could only think of getting tea." And that's not a good option anymore. She doesn't feel much like hanging around the teahouse right this second.

[Murkus]

Outside

"Well we can't go drinking, and we can't do a lot of running around..." Adir looks at Sakura's belly with a vague expression, amusingly thoughtful. "Mmmmmmm... we could always go exploring. In the forest, I mean."

Mostly because I might actually have a decent idea.

[Gullara]

[Outside]

Ooh, yay. Ideas.

Sakura brightens up to the idea. As much as she's come to adapt to civilization, in untouched nature is where she feels most at home. "Sounds like a plan. We'll have to look hard to find somewhere we haven't seen yet." And hopefully stay as far away from the Weald as physically possible. >.>

[Murkus]

Outside --> Departing

Adir will make sure of that. He still remembers the tree they ran into. "There's always somewhere." The stag grins and gives Sakura's hand a squeeze. She tries to lead her off toward the city gates, and then to Outside.

The dryad grins back, and he'll get no protests from Sakura as they head out to Outside.

Kenneth has arrived, and taken a seat. Normally, he'd be terrified of places like this (and is still a little nervous,) but he's heard of the whole non-violence aura, so he thinks he can stay here awhile.

[Gullara]

[Outside]

One has to ask why Sakura keeps coming back to this place. Her last couple visits never ended very well. It is rather nice, though. She orders her tea and goes to sit out in the garden. Sarget stands just on the other side of the wall, his branches hanging over her.

"Do you mind if I sit here?" A light feminine voice asks from beside her, along the wall. "The shade and view is better here." The voice reasons.

Sakura looks up, evidently having been distracted. "Oh, sure. Go ahead. I'm Sakura. And this is Sarget." She smiles warmly and gestures to the treant.

Garden

Sakura will see a somewhat short woman, at a little under five and a half feet and is curvy for her size with long arms and legs. Her skin is a light creme color with a few freckles on her high cheekbones. Her full lips seem to have a mischievous tilt to them, as if she's almost smiling about knowing something no one else does. She has a pair of short rounded horns on her forehead, jutting out just below her raven hair, tied back in a long braid to about hip length.

Below the braid is a long and slender tail, smooth with a point at the end, but no spearhead or bulb at the tip like many others. Her indigo eyes flash with a keen intelligence as she looks everything over and takes a seat. She's wearing a black leather corset over a short pale green dress. The hem reaches down to her knees, and the top covers her shoulders while leaving enough of her chest bared to tease. The sleeves are poofed and end in wide white cuffs made of some sort of lacy material.

She makes sure to hold her cup of tea carefully, juggling it with a thick tome in her other hand as she takes her seat, making sure she drops neither. "My name is Ariel. It's a pleasure to meet you." She says sincerely.

[Garden]

"Nice to meet you too." Sakura looks a bit puzzled at the woman. It's weird, she almost looks like...

"Likewise, Ariel." The treant rumbles. Hopefully he doesn't startle her. He can do that.

"Um, this is gonna sound weird, but do you know anyone named Cessie Mithar? Maybe you're a relative or something?" It's rather uncanny really.

Entrance to North Wall

Jean walks in, and rather quickly strides over to a table near the kitchens. Anyone watching him will see a very jittery middle aged man with a receding hairline and a tweed suit-jacket. His order is out almost before he's done sitting.

"A black tea, with two pinches of cinnamon, one of nutmeg, and three drops of vanilla. Also, three cherry blossom rice cakes."

The aura of peace around the Teahouse seems to calm his nerves some, and he seems approachable, but if no one decides to speak with him he's just going to stay here for a few hours to relax after the days events.
