[Morty]

Dorota looks slightly confused. Popcorn... it's this stuff you put in a microwave and it pops? I don't think I've ever eaten it.

[The Bushranger]

Crissy gasps.
"You haven't? Oh, no! That's totally wrong and we'll need to fix that right away! The stuff is, like, delicious!"

[Morty]

Dorota smiles a little at Crissy's shock and horror. Well then, I can't wait to try it out. Do we have any back in the store?

[The Bushranger]

Crissy nods. "Yup! Miss Aeryn keeps a stash handy for snacking. It's soooo totally good, but once you start eating it, it's, like, you can't stop."

[Morty]

Dorota raises her eyebrows. Sounds dangerous. Still, I imagine it runs out eventually. Do you eat it often?

[The Bushranger]

"Dangerous? Well, like, you might gain weight if you eat too much. But it's totally good and I usually have some every weekend."
Crissy is clearly eager to introduce Dorota to Dr. Rickenbacher's finest!

[Morty]

Maybe we could try some when we get back home? Dorota suggests. It's been a crazy week, might as well add new food to the mix.

[The Bushranger]

"That sounds like a great idea."
Crissy smiles excitedly at the idea.
"Trust me, you'll totally love the stuff. Maybe with caramel..."

[Morty]

Dorota raises her eyebrows. Caramel too? My, there seems to be a whole culinary area I've never explored.

[The Bushranger]

"Yeah, you can get popcorn in caramel, and cheese flavor, and then there's butter toffee..."
As Crissy starts describing more and more sweet tweats, it should become appararent that the Valley Girl has a sweet tooth.

[Morty]

And Crissy probably talks about her sweet tooth until it's time to leave and head back to Erin's in order to introduce a faux-medieval alchemist to popcorn.

[The Bushranger]

Indeed, this likely happens.
And Crissy will be smiling happily as they go to leave.
She won't reach for Dorota's hand though, unless it's offered. >_>

[Hattish Thing]

A strange man in a long cloak enters and sits.

[Reinholdt]

A man in dark red robes enters the bar. Hanging from his neck is an amulet. It appears to be a triangle within a triangle. There is a hood to his outfit, but it is currently down, revealing what appears to be a human with blonde hair and blue eyes. At his side on his belt is a large mace and a book.

The man takes a seat at a table and orders some tea.

With a light crack, both Alizarin and Svaela appear in front of the teahouse. As they walk inside, the woman leans heavily on her companion, suddenly exhausted.

[UncleWolf]

Alizarin sighs tiredly as he wraps an arm around Svaela. He has much he wishes to say to her, but right now, needed to get her seated. Either at a table or on the ground, it didn't matter. She needed the rest.

[Artemis97]

Svaela is deposited in a chair, and she shifts herself to lean on the table. "I think I pushed myself too far." She admits, wincing.

[Hattish Thing]

A bizzare shadow seems...out of place.

[UncleWolf]

Alizarin sighs. "Svaela...you've done too much lately. You're getting unstable. You need to rest and stop looking for fights, okay?" He asks, concerned.

(Singingnoodle, while you haven't done it yet, the Teahouse is not a place where violence happens. It is against the rules of the thread. I'd appreciate it if you didn't try that.)

[Hattish Thing]

I know, I already knew that. It's not Javert our anyone meaning harm.

"I wasn't looking for a fight." Svaela grumbles, pushing her mask back from her face. Alizarin will see she did not look well. "And that pompous fool just threw that damned spell at me without saying one word. It's his fault. His fault I'm like this." Her voice was shaking. "I'm not even sure what happened. It was too much. I did too much. It hurts, Alizarin. It burns." She tells him, fear in her golden eyes.

[UncleWolf]

Alizarin tries to offer her a small smile, but the worry on his face is clear. "Listen to me. The only reason people ever go to that place is either get in a fight or get dragged upstairs. Nothing else ever happens there." He tells her, knowing it to be true. "And if you wanted the latter, all you had to do was give me a call. My house is much nicer than that shack." He says jokingly.

Even after the joke though, the concern is evident and he tries to give her a gentle hug, or if she doesn't allow it, at least pull her close to give her someone comfortable to lean on. "Just stop using your powers for a little while, okay? You need a vacation. It'd do you some good."

[Artemis97]

She leans against him, laying her head on his shoulder. Alizarin will feel that the elven woman is burning hot, even moreso than she usually might be. "I can't just stop. It doesn't work like that. It'll all go out..." She tells him, trembling.

[UncleWolf]

Alizarin reaches up to grab a couple ice cubes from a bucket on the table and wraps them in a cloth napkin before setting it on the back of her neck to try and cool her off a bit. "Svaela, give me 24 hours and I'll make it better, but I need to know something first. Do you trust me? And I mean without a doubt."

[Artemis97]

The ice cubes melt rather quickly, dribbling water down the back of Svaela's neck. The water doesn't go far, though, before it evaporates. One could almost see the wisps of steam.

She looks up at him, uncertainty in her eyes. "No. Not without doubt. I'm sorry, Alizarin."

[UncleWolf]

"But still more than anyone else. Oh, and this might be a bit of a shock." He tells her before reaching up and grabbing the entire bucket of ice and dumping it on her head.

Svaela screams when the ice pours down over her. She pouts, crossing her arms over her chest, and sits there, steaming.

[UncleWolf]

Alizarin just smirks at her and tries to give her a peck on the cheek. "You're cute when you pout. I'll order you an iced tea to cool you internally too." He says before calling out the order for her. "And be sure it's shaken in the tumbler!"

"Thank you." Svaela says, quietly. "That might help quite a bit, actually. I just have to be careful."

[UncleWolf]

"Like I said, 24 hours and I'll have you back to your old self. Better even." He tells her as he passes her the drink. "Need to get you to relax."
