[Morty]

Oh? How did the encounter go? Dorota asks curiously.

[Reinholdt]

"His name was Vice."
Saul says, leaving it at that.
As a religion based around following virtue and eliminating vices, I think that ought to be enough for Dorota to get a good idea of how it went.

[Morty]

Dorota does realize the implications.
Oh, dear. Yes, I imagine it was a less than pleasant encounter.

[Reinholdt]

"He was very polite about it all." Saul admits.

"Regardless, that's in the past and not horribly important. I am here to redeem who I can in the time I have."

[Morty]

An admirable goal, certainly. I wish you luck in it. I'm afraid I don't aspire to such heights.

[Reinholdt]

"Thank you. If you ever have need to find me, my card is in the book I gave you."

The card is blank until such time as she wishes to find him. Then it shows his exact location.

[Murkus]

Bellan, the oversized creature from the Borderlands, is currently sitting and using his tubed tongue to slurp some yellow tea.

His large eyes roll from left to right, scanning the tavern passively.

[Reinholdt]

Saul is here, as is fairly usual, reading from his big book.

[Murkus]

Saul might find Bellan looming over him, not having moved from his seat. Seems the giant is trying to read his book.

Of course, finding this inefficient, he merely asks, "What's that you're reading?"

[Reinholdt]

Saul looks up and pushes the book a bit to give Bellan better access.

"It is the Holy Word of Terenti." He says.

[Murkus]

"Holy word. A religious text, then?" Bellan asks, taking advantage of the better view to scan whatever page Saul's currently looking at. "Such things always fascinate me."

[Reinholdt]

"Yes." The page he is open to describes the virtues of Chastity.

[Gullara]

Sarget lumbers toward the Teahouse with Sakura sitting in his branches. When they stop outside Sakura slides out of his branches carefully and heads inside. She takes some time figuring out what kind of tea she wants, never having had it before. At length she settles on some red tea and heads out to the...

[Garden]

Where she takes a seat near the garden wall. This is so she can be near Sarget, who is too big to fit int he garden proper and has to stay just outside the wall.

For reference, Sakura is wearing something like this. She doesn't fill it out nearly as much, but she has put on some weight around her stomach, most notably, as well as her breasts and thighs. It's not immediately apparent that she's pregnant, but one might assume from the maternity clothes and the weight around her midriff.

So anyway, the dryad sits with Sarget, enjoying the peaceful environment. Perhaps someone would like to talk to her?

Wolfgang has found himself in the garden, as well. He's sipping on a cup of Blue Tea, examining a glowing, metal bar in his hand.

[Gullara]

[Garden]

Let's say they aren't too far apart, shall we?

The glowing bar of metal catches Sakura's attention, that's for sure. She's staring at it rather openly, not really thinking about how staring is rude.

[Devixer]

[Garden]

Wolfgang probably doesn't notice Sakura for a bit - he's still looking at the bar of metal. In a few seconds, though, he does notice, looking through his glasses at her. "Did you have a question or something, miss?" the scientist asks.

[Gullara]

[Garden]

"Oh." The dryad starts a bit, not having expected him to speak up. "Sorry, I was just looking at... that." She indicates the bar. "Um, what is it anyway?"

[Devixer]

[Garden]

Wolfgang smiles. "It does tend to attract attention." He places it in a pocket on the inside of his lab coat. "It is Elerium-117. I assume you don't have this in your world?"

[Gullara]

[Garden]

Sakura picks up her tea and moves to sit nearer to Wolfgang. Sarget keeps a watchful eye on them.

"Well, I don't think so. Never seen it before at least." She's never seen anything manufactured into a bar shape there for starters. "What's it do?"

[Devixer]

[Garden]

"Put simply, it produces energy. I'd explain further, but last time I did, I ended up in one room for eight or so hours. Not fun" Wolfgang takes another sip of tea. After he's finished with that, he says, "Where are my manners? I'm Wolfgang Hirsch."

[Gullara]

[Garden]

"Oh, so it's kind of like the thing in my mp3 player. It glows too." She reaches into her pocket and fishes out said mp3 player. "Let me show you." She struggles to pop the back off of it, and when she does she drops it and the glowing green battery pops out.

[Devixer]

[Garden]

"Mp3 player? May I ask what that is?" Wolfgang watches as the battery pops out. He immediately gets curious, leaning closer to inspect it? "Is that plutonium? I hope the manufacturers know what they're doing..."

[Gullara]

[Garden]

"Well, it plays music out of these." She pulls out her headphones and pops one in her ear to show him. She picks up the mp3 player, and shows him the screen. "It shows what song's playing here. I can't read it, but I know what some of the names look like now." She proceeds to try and reassemble the mp3 player, not at all worried about the clearly radioactive battery. It's completely safe, so it's okay. "No clue what plutonium is. Is it like your, uh, elerium?"

[Devixer]

[Garden]

"A music player? I had no idea they could be so miniature. I'll have to look into that." Wolfgang looks at the screen, but his attention is grabbed by Sakura's other question. "Sort of, but plutonium is radioactive, and more to the point, doesn't produce as much energy as Elerium."

[Gullara]

[Garden]

The screen currently displays Bad Side of the Moon by April Wine. "Oh, okay. So I guess it's normal for things like that to glow? Never really seen anything like it before. What's radioactive mean?" Sakura's likely going to be asking a lot of questions. This is an area she's learned nothing about even since coming to the Nexus.

[Devixer]

[Garden]

Luckily for Sakura's questions, this is an area of expertise for Wolfgang. When something is radioactive, that simply means it goes through a specific type of decay. It can be harmful to the body, in very large amounts. You should be mostly safe, though."

[Gullara]

[Garden]

"Oh, really?" Sakura looks at the mp3 player, and then down at her stomach. It probably isn't even radioactive, she has nothing to worry about. Doesn't stop her though. "Are you sure it's safe? I kinda have to worry about this sort of thing."

[Devixer]

[Garden]

Wolfgang nods, adjusting his glasses. "Even if this were radioactive, it not a nearly large enough sample to be remotely harmful. I'm just being a bit of a worrier."

[Gullara]

[Garden]

"Okay, that's a relief. I used a bunch of money on this. I don't really have much to begin with, so I don't want to waste it." The dryad stows it away again, and picks up her tea.

[Devixer]

[Garden]

"Don't worry about it. Again, I'm being a little paranoid about that. I am a scientist, after all." Wolfgang finishes off his Blue Tea. "Would you happen to have an operations manual for that? I'd like to study it, learn something about minituarization."
