"Um, I don't think it came with one. All I have is the headphones and the mp3 player." It was sold at a market stall, what do you expect? That battery is probably some sort of illicit good too. "Sorry."

Wolfgang expects some sort of care for the customer. This sort of thing would never happen in Germany! "Ah, never mind. I'm sure I can find something else." He reaches in his labcoat for his journal. "Not to be rude, but I don't think I got your name."

[Gullara]

[Garden]

Silly forgetful player. "Oh, right. It's Sakura, just Sakura." She's never had a last name. Comes with not having parents in the traditional sense.

[Devixer]

[Garden]

Very, very silly. At this point, Wolfgang looks at Sakura's "hair." "It is an appropriate name, I think. I don't know if you heard me before, but my name is Wolfgang Hirsch."

[Gullara]

[Garden]

"Well it's nice to meet you, Wolfgang." Sakura runs her free hand through her hair when his attention is drawn to it. "Heh, yeah it is. Sarget named me. Oh, I guess you don't know who Sarget is." She turns back toward where the treant is standing. "Say hi, Sarget."

"Hello, Mister Hirsch. A pleasure to meet you." He says in his deep, rumbling voice. Hopefully a talking tree isn't too startling.

Wolfgang is rather startled when Sarget first speaks. He quickly calms down, though, partially because of the atmosphere of the garden. "A pleasure to meet you as well, Sarget." He starts to scribble a bit in his notebook.

Sarget goes back to being silent and tree like. He's good at that. Sometimes I wonder what he thinks about all the time.

"Sagret is my tree. All dryads like me have to stay near a tree. Normally they can't walk and talk like Sarget though." Sakura explains. She actually remembered that not everyone is familiar with what dryads are.

Sarget's quiet... too quiet.

Wolfgang, in the meantime, is writing more in his notebook. "And if I may ask, why do dryads like yourself have to stay near your tree?"

[Gullara]

[Garden]

He's clearly plotting something. *nodnod*

"Well, we're bound to them since we were born. We're sort of like, more closely tied to nature than, say, a human like you is. I don't exactly know, but something like that."

[Devixer]

[Garden]

Wolfgang hmm's in thought. "I get it. It's something like a symbiosis. It is mutually beneficial for you two to remain close." He murmers this while he's writing. After a few seconds, he looks up and laughs a little. "I must apologize, I just get so excited when I'm learning something."

[Gullara]

[Garden]

Sakura giggles a bit. At the second statement. She only understood every other word of the first. "That's okay. I don't mind answering questions at all."

Wolfgang smiles. He loved when someone wasn't too secretive. "Well, thank you very much, Sakura. This Nexus is proving a little baffling, so I will probably have many questions."

A dwarf arrives here. He's wearing chainmail that is slightly grubby, and a helmet with a magnificent pair of antlers mounted to it. He has a long, tangled, dirty black beard and deep blue eyes that shine with madness. He has no axe, which is odd for a dwarf. He stares at the people on the next table along, and drinks purple tea.

"Yes." The page he is open to describes the virtues of Chastity.

Bellan scans the virtues briefly, eyes flicking here and there. His tone is entirely neutral as he says, "So one cannot mate until the marriage ritual is completed. How quaint."

[Gullara]

[Garden]

Sakura glances at the arriving dwarf, but soon turns her attention back to Wolfgang. "Yeah, it was really confusing when I first got here. Everything was so new and different." The dryad pauses. "Wow, I've actually been here a lng time now. It seems so weird thinking about it now."

[Devixer]

[Garden]

Wolfgang also gives a short glance to the dwarf, but nothing more. "Ah, that does remind me. I don't think I have ever seen a calender or clock around here. How do you keep track of time?"

Silly Wolfgang. It's whenever the plot says it is!

"Well, I don't really worry about it. I guess it depends where you go if you can find a clock." Sakura shrugs. It's nothing she really needs. Though, a calendar would be nice for tracking how long nine months is.

[Reinholdt]

"I'll just buy a pocket watch when I can." He makes another note in his journal. "I am running low on funds, though. I'll need to find employment."

[Gullara]

Sakura better not talk to Saul then. She doesn't need a lecture. >.>

"You could always look up one of the orgs." Sakura suggests. "I think NO is one where they pay you. Um, a mercenary group or something. They do jobs for money."

Wolfgang laughs a little. "I don't think I could be a mercenary. I'm fit for science, not battle."

[Gullara]

"I'm not sure then." The dryad shrugs. "So you're a, er, scientist then? I don't really know what that is to be honest."

[Devixer]

[Garden]

"I can find work somewhere, don't worry." Wolfgang tilts his head a little. "How do I explain this... a scientist is one who studies the ways in which the world works."

[Gullara]

[Garden]

"Oh, okay. I've heard the word science and scientist before. Didn't really know what they were though." Sakura says. Like she said earlier. Soooo much new stuff in the Nexus.

[Murkus]

"I take it you disagree with the virtue?" Saul asks.

"Oh, no. I prefer not to judge such things. More often than not it turns into an argument rather than a friendly debate, though you seem peaceable enough." Bellan says quietly. "It's merely unusual to me. Most cultures I've visited don't have religions with this sort of ideal."

"I think that we both have much to figure out, then. Well, less for you, anyway, you've been here longer." And there's a lot of craaazy things left to see for the German! Yay!

"I like this world as well. Convenient, seeing as I'm stuck here." Wolfgang's face suddenly becomes rather more stoic.

"You can't get back to your world?" Sakura questions. "Aw, that's too bad. It's not really connected like my home world is I guess."
