Reinholdt can't imagine these people volunteering. He thinks it's the ritual and the drums and the magic and how dare they do this to these people!

Reinholdt gives up on the flute and puts it away, turning pink to fly up and over those people, towards the pillar of gold where the altar is. He fully intends to plant C4 on it and blow it sky high (not immediately of course). Accursed evil aggression causing altar!

Reinholdt opens his mouth to say something, but... just stops, his anger dissipating away and his features softening again.
Dang crying people always got to him.

"I... I'm sorry..."

Quinn manages to compose herself after a few moments.
"No, it's alright. I deserved that..."

Yay!! the onion says, literally bouncing up and down. Then it stops, looking up at Jamie confused. Who's Oddball?

Jamie grins at the cheerful happy onion!
"Oddball is the, um, 'radish thing' you were mentioning earlier. He's called an Oddish."

[Reinholdt]

[Main Cabin]

Reinholdt is quiet at that. He looks down.
"You want a drink? Water maybe?"

[Main Cabin]

"...yes, please," Quinn whispers.

[Reinholdt]

[Main Cabin]

Reinholdt heads to the kitchen and gets a glass of ice cold water, and some ice cold lemonade for Tobias, before returning to Quinn and setting the water down for her.
"Here."

The halfling girl waves at Reinholdt as he goes by, while Tito sneaks a spoonful of caramelized onions, and yelps when he burns his tongue on them.

Reinholdt tilts his kitty head a bit and waves back. Hadn't seen them before. Have to talk to them later or something. He grins just a little at the burned tongue, but sobers up quickly and then gets back to Quinn with her water as detailed above.

Quinn accepts the glass with a grateful nod.
And gulps it down!
In one gulp!

"Umm..."
"I'll... uh... go give Tobias his drink real quick, k?"
Reinholdt asks of Quinn.

"Um, sure?" Quinn says/asks, not sure why she needs to give permission for this, but giving it anyway.

Cause Reinholdt wants to make sure she's ok before leaving her alone?

Anyways, he heads outside to find Tobias and bring him his drink.

The druid lazily raises an eyebrow at the cat. Awful long time for some lemonade. What's up?

[Outside]

"Remember the creature that put me in a full body cast and Quinn's involvement in that? Yeah... well... I sort of finally had a chance to bring it up."
Reinholdt sighs.

"Long story short, I'm a mean cat and made your wife cry. Go comfort her."

Quinn sits, staring at the glass, debating throwing it against the wall.

Toby sighs and drains his lemonade. It's okay Rein... She needed to hear it. But he goes inside the Main Cabin to comfort Quinn anyways.

[Outside -> Elm Cabin]

Reinholdt scuffs at the dirt a little, glancing down. Before heading to his cabin. Probably to sulk, even though he knows Tobias was right. Still... something in there got to him. Hit him closer to home than he'll admit. Sulking sounded good right now.

As Toby enters, Quinn stands and rushes to the druid, basically throwing herself into his arms and sobbing.
"I'm sorry..I'm so so sorry..."

Toby hugs her back. It's okay Quinn, it's not that bad...

"No, it is...I kept meaning to tell you, but, stuff always came up, I should have told you sooner but..."

Having led Kate here, Reelshka will look for one of the Applehills. Apart from wanting to get Kate some food, she wants to discuss something with them.

Sophie doesn't look away from the hideous being - after all, it would interfere with her actual intention, which is to try and and place three bullets in its face. Which she promptly does.

"Well, some people have called me unnatural," Jamie admits, frowning as she thinks of Doc Strof.

Friend might notice a ring of blue fire springing up about him. Periodically, a large orb of fire will be flung at him from behind the pillars of flame. An unseen mage hides behind the ring? Perhaps, though it would seem more likely to be caused by that silent child sitting on a log in the ring of flame across from him.

Friend looks slowly around at the blue fire, dodging the first fireball barely.

"Seems a sorcerer or priest of the gods old hath joint this fray"

adapting a battle stance, the Ex-Fae fires his armour's lasers yet again. Albeit from only one hand this time. Dodging the fireballs through his own reflexes and the armour's enhanced strength.

If the flames are magical, some of their power may be drained away from the Nexus when they graze the armoured fighter. Although, it Will be a small effect should they only be created by magic and not made or sustained by it.

Zach runs past the barbarian and her crew, yelling the entire way.

He's really booking it! He runs even faster until he reaches the Main Cabin and rushes inside. He hides near Jamie and the talking onion, whispering quietly.
"DemonsDemonsDemonsDemonsDemonsDemonsDemonsDemonsD emonsDemonsDemonsDemonsDemonsDemons!"

Reelshka is still there, hoping to talk to the Applehills. Getting a taste of one of those onions wouldn't be bad either.

I've never eaten an onion, Reelshka says with a smile, but I think I'd like to try one now. And could I talk to your parents? I'd like to ask them something.
