Brianna nods, steps aside... and goes to find the elves!

Main Cabin

Terrowin sits down in a chair and takes a book out of a pocket to read. The book is bound in unusual leather and has a two-tailed scorpion symbol branded into it.

Forest

If Brianna finds them, they're in here building a tree house with Natalie. Since they are all busy working, they don't notice Briannas approach should she find the elves.

Brianna sighs, and will start to climb up to them.

Cacame- Wood Elf.
Sattael- Wild Elf.
Nishtar- High Elf.

I can't remember if Brianna and Natalie have met.

The busy busy workers don't notice Brianna yet. Probably all that nail-hammering and wood-sawing.

Brianna will get up as far as she can before speaking. "Cacame, Sattael, Nishtar... I need to discuss something with ye."

The elves climb down to Brianna. The tree was chosen because it is quite easy to climb. "Yes, Brianna?" The elves look quite worried; they probably suspect something worse than it is.

She sighs. "A member of the Cult's here... and he wants to apologise to ye three. Do ye want to see him? If not, I'll tell him to bugger off."

"What name is he using?"
"Will you be able to see us and within shouting distance?"
"We could do with a short break, I suppose. He's definately male, yes?" They never met a male cultist; the only clerics at the Hermitage are Abbess Elezibethele and Grand Mistress Azurelle D'Langley of the Order of the Centipede, leader of Dalachrech's blackguards. At the moment, His only blackguard.

Jamie's Garden

Oddball has awoken! To find his bestest friend is being hugged by a vine. Since Jamie is nervous, so is Oddball, and he prepares himself to help fight it if that becomes necessary. "Oddish!" Oddball likely merely comes across as indignant, but cute.

Jamie smiles at the Oddish, appreciating the backup, and awaits developments with the vine!

Hey, uh, Shrike? Any idea on how well healing spirits could help her?

Demon Queen looks to Rasslin, slightly confused for a moment. Then she remembers.

Marley, having woken up from being badly shocked, crawls for the infirmary.

"Healing spirits?" Shrike tilts her head curiously. "Well, I'm not sure - technically she's perfectly healthy..."

Yeah, I tried Palta for the stone before. Didn't work.

Ah. Well, just a thought then.

Demon Queen turns to Shrike. So...what should I do now?

"Basically...if there's no way to remove the stone, we simply train concentration and careful exercises to bleed off Resonance as it's accumulated, preferably without plunging the base into a shadowland for a second time."

I don't think I'd mind a shadowland. Rasslin grins.

Wait...second time?

Shrike chuckles. "You might this kind. Ghosts and undead and generally a nightmare realm."

She then nods to The Abyssal Formerly Known As Zel. "It was before my time, but I've heard that when the base was at its original location, another Abyssal, Crimson, lived there, and...had a Resonance eruption once. It wasn't pretty."

A young woman of about 18 or 19 walks in curiously. The part of the camp that catches her uncertain eye the most is... all of the trees, actually. She doesn't seem used to being in a forest.

Shrike, I thrive in shadows. And suddenly, it's as if she gets sucked into her coat. Which falls to the floor, empty.

Demon Queen shakes her head a little and rolls her eyes. Show off.

"Lemme guess, you're my shadow right now?" Shrike asks, grinning.


[Outside]

The young woman might spot the vine-wrapped redheaded girl in the garden.

Quinn happens to be plotcloned in the Infirmary, too.

Rasslin's voice sounds from all around.

Maybe...maybe not...

She's the Shadow Spirit. She can travel through shadows, move them, hide in them.

The redheaded girl walks into the infirmary, looking around with hesitant curiosity.

"...in Shadow Malfeas, shadow move you," Shrike declares, somehow managing to keep a straight face.

She'll spot the brunette paladin/champion bustling about tidying up, and Quinn looks over with a smile.
"Oh, hello there, are you new here? Can I help you with anything?"

The girl smiles back. Hello there, ma'am. I'm new to this whole area, as a matter of fact. Heard some chaps in the city talking about this place. Figured I should come down and take a look.

The shadows laugh.

Demon Queen blinks a few times, looking slightly confused.

"Regional joke," Shrike explains with a grin. "Modified by by razor-sharp wit."

Quinn sets down a stack of paperwork and steps over, offering a hand.
"I'm Quinn Druid, Champion of Neirian and head of pastoral care of the Good League of Good. It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss...?"

She shakes Quinn's hand firmly. My friends call me Ally. So what... Erm, sorry, but did you say you're a Druid?

"Well, not exactly - my husband is a Druid," Quinn explains, her own handshake comfortably firm. "And a rather powerful one, too."

Rasslin's coat shifts a little, then moves. After a moment, Rasslin is back, like nothing happened.
