I actually find the obsession with the genderswapped AT cast annoying. There seems to be more fanart of Fionna and Marshal Lee than of the entire normal AT cast (with the possible exception of Princess Bubbs and Marceline shipping.) There were two episodes about the genderswapped versions, and 1 with BB and Marcy, yes they get all the attention.

I donno. Cause its hawt? Adventure time is one of those shows that just good. And there isn't much to say about it unless its splitting up the fanbase. Speaking of the fanbase, the Adventure Time Fanbase isn't NEARLY as rabid as allot of other ones. Thus this thread slides into nothing because the fanbase just doesn't have much to do but praise, and nobody wants to just say pointless stuff.

So this thread dying is more to do with the Maturity of the fanbase then the quality of the show.

Okay, so a real "review" of the episode:

Unholy crap, that opening. The Candy Kingdom looks pretty bleak. The creepy guardian angel from season two(?!), those occult animals, and Pepbut doing some pretty overt dark rituals. In the old Lich holding chamber, no less. The triangle shaped mat basicly seals the deal that he's pretty much holding some sort of Freemason-esqu thing, is pretty "wow" inducing even for this show. Only other thing I could think of that would have something like this in it is Gravity Falls.

The Gumball guardians know that Peppermint Butler does dark magic, even calling him "dark one". Well, jeepers.

A suiter said he was waiting to see the princess for 300 years. Welp, that pretty much seals the whole "Blubblegum has been 18 for a very long time" thing.

Wait, did Brocko just exhume his grandfather for a book and a hat? He did. Also, Dawgzone might not/isn't Jake. It would be funny if the Ice King wrote the book series, and forgot about it.

"That road leads nowhere" is a fantastic line, and strangely poetic for Finn. I was honestly expecting F&J to follow Broco and help him out.

Peebles though. She might as well rename herself Mad Science Princess. Forging a soul using science. Impressive.
