Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fifteen
I didn't used to like the look of male genitalia, and I still think they (can) be the uglier of the pair. But I've come around to an enjoyment of certain varieties of the organ in question visually, and I have always preferred... "recreational modes" that involved at least one party with it.
And yes. It is awesome like a pokemon.

But the awesomeness of pokémons are their cuteness and impressive control over the elements, as well as their flashy methamorphmosis...
What kind of sex do you guys have?

A few select pokemon moves: "attract," "charm," "leer," "growl," "pound," "lick," "slam," "constrict," "harden," "withdraw," "scratch," "horn attack," "earthquake," I could go on.
"Double Team" optional...

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fifteen
I've been tempted to post here for a while, but before I get too far into that and off topic, I'll reply to the "appearance" of things a bit quickly. Personally, I'm not bothered with the look of either set, find them a bit appealing actually, but for me, I'm more attracted to someone's personality and attitude.
I'm not saying that being cute doesn't help though.
As for me though, I've come out a couple months ago to a few people I trust a lot, when I was still awkward and confused somewhat, but now, with a bit of help, I guess I'm ready to tell more than those few. A few months ago, I learned, through means I'd prefer not to mention as they're somewhat embarrassing, that I was Bi.
For those who are obviously wondering () my taste in guys seems to run towards those who are a bit effeminate in build and appearance, but my taste in girls pretty much covers all of them.

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fifteen
Part of it involved me RPing a Slaanesh Cult a lot over a long period of time, and it started to sneak into how I thought(and act) in Real Life. Kinda what gave me the suspicion to be honest. Like I said, it was odd, and mildly embarrassing at the time, and still is somewhat.
Of course, there are more details, but I prefer to keep those to myself. >.>

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fifteen
That's not the awesomeness of Pokémons, I said nothing about their innuendo or products based off of them.
I am also too sleepy to open my eyes, so nya!
Well, it's English. I then the word "Pokémon" is the only non-innuendo in that post.
Joking aside, this is way too squicky a subject for me. So pip pip cheerio!

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fifteen
I was the one who thought like the group, and you're the one who says I don't want to know the mental image?
It wasn't really that bad. Just my remarks, thoughts, and a few mannerisms changed somewhat, as well as to what appeals to me. But, to be honest, I have to say that it's for the better. I'm a lot more confident than I used to be. *shrugs*

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fifteen
That's pretty interesting - I dabble in acting, and I'll admit I've noticed changes in my behaviour based on the characters I play. They've not been exactly virtuous, human or posessive of any redeeming qualities whatsoever, some of the mannerisms aren't particularly virtuous. But they are pretty good fun. I mean, amoral renaissance villain? Demon butler? Domineering closet gay man? BEST. ROLES. EVER.
Do you think it was solely the acting that led to the revalation?

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fifteen
To be honest, I really am not sure about it. I think it was a variety of things, but I know that the RPing was a big part of it. Those who are in ffrp with me, and talk to me, know I absorb my PCs into me to the point where I get rather close to them. Makes it easier for me to get into their mind. It normally takes a month or so of doing it constantly though.
But, all in all, I don't think it was just the RPing, but it certainly helped.

Incidentally, does anyone know if it's possible to get hold of size 9.5 (UK) women's shoes without parting with ridiculous amounts of money? And if so, where?

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fifteen
*sigh*
So, I was chatting with my mom, and the topic turned to the topic of LGBTA. It was the perfect opportunity to tell my mom I'm transgender ... and I didn't take it. She even asked me, "Are you transgender?" And I said no.
I mean, it was just so sudden and out of nowhere, it caught me by surprise. Worst part was, I was actually planning on chatting about it with her and testing the waters tonight ... and now it's going to be more awkward when I do.
I dunno, I guess I just needed to vent my frustration. >_<Originally Posted by TheAmishPirateSpoiler: Previous Avatars!

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fifteen
I'd suggest Freind Internet, personally. I've seen a couple of shops in Brighton that clain to sell large ladies foodwear, but I'll be damned if I remember what they were called, sorry.
And on the subject of acting, you reckon more it was there all along but the RP etc helped bring it to the surface, like?Last edited by Lyesmith; 2011-07-19 at 07:53 PM.

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fifteen
Actually, something really similar happened to me. When I first joined my schools GSA (which was created this past spring) my sister flat out asked me if I was gay. I'm not, but I think she just meant, y'know, different. Huge surprise. I said no, and I've regretted it too long. I would say fix it as soon as possible, because it grows and hurts if you don't. Good luck.

Re: Pokemon: I said I could go on.
Hawkflight... I'd actually recommend talking to her again, soon. Say you were caught off guard and that you panicked a little (it is true if I read you right) but that yes, you are transgender and had been thinking about talking to her. If you weren't planning that already. Sometimes our minds and voices can betray us at the most inopportune times, so... yeah.

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fifteen
Actually, what I'm thinking is ... I'll talk to her again later. Possibly later tonight, possibly tomorrow, and tell her that the conversation got me thinking, and maybe I really am transgender.

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fifteen
Can you comment on why she asked this? It's not exactly a typical question, so she clearly has some strong reason to suspect.
I would tell her soon that you're transgender, but I'd avoid attributing it to the conversation you had. That seems like it might cause her to not take it seriously, if she thinks you're not sure, and if she thinks that the conversation was an influential part of your realization.
Good luck.

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fifteen
Because she remembers when I was younger and used to sneak in and try her clothes on.
*whew* Well, I did it .... just as she was leaving to pick up my dad. To avoid a prolonged conversation. She seemed to take it well, though she seems to think I'm simply in touch with my feminine side. I also had to make the distinction between transgender, sexual orientation, and crossdressing, which was awkward.Originally Posted by TheAmishPirateSpoiler: Previous Avatars!

Re: LGBTAitp - Part Fifteen
Sorry! I did spoiler it as an afterthought, but I guess it wasn't enough.
Hawkflight, congrats on telling her eventually! I think it happens to be caught by surprise and say "no" when it's "yes", but as long as you correct it (as you did) I think it's fine. It's probably good that she asked, I'm assuming it means she noticed it, she knows about it and she isn't completely against it. So hopefully you'll get support from here.
About appearance... The first time I saw one, I was a bit weirded out, but mostly because you don't get to see them often. I'm sure if noses where normally hidden, I'd freak out the first time I saw one.
But I quickly grew to enjoy everything about them.
About sex... To me sex requires one person's sexual organs (I include the whole area, front and back) and interaction (so I don't think masturbation is sex if you're alone in every way, but it does if there is an interaction, even if the interaction is sending texts to make sure you both do it at the same time or something).
While other activities might be nice, like sucking on one's nipples for instance, I don't see them as being sex (which is good because that would make breastfeeding incest). I don't see kissing as sex, either. Or hugs. All of these are nice and bonding in a relationship but they don't fit my definition of sex.
While sex doesn't require a penis specifically, because there are other sexual parts, including in males, if at least one of the partner has one, it certainly reduces the potential range of activities.
And I don't think it's limiting sex to PiV to say so. I can think of tons of other ways to have sex that I enjoy, and they involve a penis too. And while I know there are other things that can "do the job" a penis does, such as fingers or toys, I've never enjoyed either and they'd never make good substitutes to me.
I don't think it's sad to have a preference like that. I'm pretty satisfied with my sex life and I don't find it limiting.
Now, to go back to what Coid was saying. I think his point is that while sex doesn't require male genitals, the person equipped with them might object to their never getting any attention. And I wouldn't blame them. On the other hand it's true that they might favour other sexual acts, and since Kitty has opposite preferences to mine, it would certainly be a good match. I would think that would probably be a minority of people with male genitals who don't want them to be involved in sex at all, ever, though. I mean, that's limiting, too, you've got to admit.

Further evidence that I will never understand you people who actually do sex-things. Too many g-darn factors to work with. It makes my head swim. Swim like a quadriplegic.
