Sorry I thought I had answered this but I guess not...

"Pretty little shiny things! They all give them to me! They are gold and silver and copper! Copper are the nicest ones!!!!" she says and giggles.

"If you give me some I can tell you your past and your future!!!!" she says with a grin.

Little Green will give the woman 5 copper.

"I ask not about my own future or past but your own. Someone gave you a coin the other day, one that looked much like any other, but it was not. It was a special coin. Tell me who gave it to you."

The coins disappear into the many folds of her ragged clothing and she takes something of her pocket and holds it in her fist.

"I can give you the secret. All the secrets! Lean closer little imp and I will tell you the secrets!" she mumbles still holding her fist closed and approaching it towards the place where your voice is coming from.

The cat that by now seems to have located you starts rubbing herself or himself on your feet and meowing loudly.

If Little Green feels that she's not about to betray him to the arch-devil, he will approach the old woman and see what she has to offer.

As you approach she leans closer and her foul stench assaults your senses once more. Though she doesnt seem to be inclined to drag you with her to Hell she probably smells as bad as that devilish realm does.

As you approach she waits a few moments as if looking in your general direction and keeping her hand closed as if waiting for a palm to which she can deposit what she has.

"Yes, yes, come closer little impy! My gifts are great! No creature can resist them! nor can you! hihihihi" she giggles.

He places his palms in hers and receives the "gift".

The woman grabs your hand and a mad look appears on her face.

With her other hand she drops her trophy into your palm.

She still looks at you with the same look though as she says.

"Keep it secret! Keep it safe. HE is watching! He will make me suffer for warning you!!! He is everywhere!!!" despite the deranged look, the horrible thing in your hand and the cat that is almost trying to trip you as she seems to enjoy your short halfling legs very much, you have the sensation that this last part, the warning, is almost completely sane.

Little Green will surretipitously drop the rotten junk on the cat's head and say to the lady, "My dear, thank you for the warning."

well, that was a complete and total waste of time.

He next heads to Gorsk Ilianson's shop, deciding to go as himself the halfling.

The cat growls annoyed and the woman looks taken aback by your behavior.

"Go, go, little imp. Good luck!" she screams as you depart and heads turn to look towards this direction.

You arrive at South Market and find the smithy amidst a series of similar businesses.

The sign outside reads "Ilianson & Ilianson , master smiths"

Little Green walks in and says, "Hello, fellows! Might I have a word with the owner?"

A dwarf wearing chain mail armor with intricate runes and fine detailing looks at you as you enter.

"Harken min dawin ud gazan ing mon ungor! Esi gid urbar?" he tells you.

"Apologies, but that is not one of the tonues I speak."

The man mumbles something more in dwarven and then switches to halfling.

"I said... welcome little plains cousin. Are you interested in a trade?"

The sounds of metal on metal can be heard from behind a door half submerged into the floor on the other side of the room, just behind him.

Switching to halfling, Little Green says, "Good master, it is not a matter of trade but one of money that brings me here. I've recently heard tell of some... extraordinary coins. Heard tell you have come into possession of one. Wondered if it was for sale. Or perhaps you can hook me up with the guy whom you got it from."

The dwarf looks at you curiously at first.

"Lets begin with simple things, friend." he said in a why that did not really indicate friendship though you did get him out of hostility.

"What is your name and who told you things about me? It -pays- to be careful and would love to hear about those who slander against me but also who praise me"

"I am called Talehos by some, and you truly misunderstood me if you thought my words slander. I mean only to seek to join you in what appears to be a lucrative venture from what I can tell. How much coin would it take you to be able to help me out with my questions?"

"You mis-understand too little cousin. I did not say that you are slandering. I said that it pays to know who says good and bad things about me... and as what you refer to is not knowledge that you get from the street I can discuss more with you after I know whom you've been talking to..." he says a bit more forcefully.

"Assuming that condition is met, I dont have a problem with sharing the knowledge with a fellow small-folk..."

"Pray forgive me. My momma never accused me of bring the brightest of children. I've found a guy who thinks he's paying me to solve problems for him. All I'm really doing is taking his money and doing my own thing. He's come into possession of four odd little coins, and thinks that you have something to do with them. I find these coins absolutely fascinating myself and think his idea of destroying them ludicrous. Simply put, I want in on a slice of the action."

"Well it all depends on if you wish to join the Union or not my friend" he says with a smile.

"It only takes three things to do so... you need to bring us one more person willing to join the organisation, 1000 gold and the name of the person who spoke to you about us..." he says and your gut feeling tells you that he seems he has gone very serious about the last part.

[planswalker]

"Well, friend, I am very happy to hear this. I just a have pair of minor questions. Seeing as I am low on funds at the moment, any way I could pay half up front and half later? Also, the person whom I get to join, how willing do they have to be?"

[Monodominant]

"Willing enough to commit the entrance fee. And its best if they are not magically compelled cause there are rules against that!" he says with a grin.

[planswalker]

"Oh, fair enough. Shall I say, come back tomorrow with the fee and the person? I'll tell you the name then if you don't mind too much. I'm just a little green halfling, and I do need my bargaining chips."

"Splendid. Make sure you dont about this to anyone mr little green halfling. The penalty clauses are severe! Come tomorrow after sundown, in the morning its my brother that runs the story and he is a sourface!"

He says and bids you farewell.

Little Green leaves and goes to the temple of Tiamat and requests an audience with the priest from before.

As he approaches the temple he sees that there is a figure not so much hiding as lurking in one of the pillars next to the entrance. Seeing you walk there with obvious purpose it moves to intercept you while still staying in the shadows cast by the columns.

"Excuse me servant of the goddess" he says either recognising you or assuming you are a faithful."

"The temple is closed for a little while, an initiation is taking place... we cant interrupt the ceremony..." he says with a raspy voice, his characteristics are hidden behind the hood of his heavy cloak.

"Oh, I'll wait. I'm sure no one really cares if a rival faction threatens to undo all we do. No big deal."

The figure shifts uncomforably at this but stays firm.

"Listen friend, its not that I dont trust you and all but orders are orders... Brother Pursifal told me to not let anyone in... or out... until he gives the okay. It shouldnt be long, they have been at it for almost an hour and unless the initiate tries something stupid it doesnt take much more" he says in whispered tones.

"Unless if the Temple of Bahamut is planning another attack then I really cant let you in..."

[planswalker]

Little Green chuckles. "Oh, don't fret yourself out of your robes. They group won't be attacking us tonight or anything so dramatic. I can wait. I was just giving you a hard time."

[Monodominant]

The figure relaxes, inclines its head and moves back to its previous place.

Approximately twenty minutes later the door is opened and four individuals dressed in black robes step outside. The figure approaches one of them and whispers a few words before coming back to you.

"It is done. The Mother of Scales has a new servant and you can go in now! Brother Pursifcal is busy but Brother Antonius can see you!" he says his raspy voice sounding more excited.

The four robed figures disperse.

Little Green will head in and see the other brother.
