I don't really know what an Umbrella Corp is, but I do have a character that have animal DNA in them. Or more specifically, her arm is a bear paw and her legs are lion paws, does that count?

Well, this isn't exactly what I expected to come back from work to...

First, Alexandrian, next time you decide to launch several large airships, shuttles, and other possibly space capable aircraft, please run it by me first OOC, or by Remnant IC. Remnant does react to such things, and I would appreciate being kept in the loop before hand.

As for the looting in Red Zone, I would also like to ask for that to wait for me to have a chance to reply to, partly because Remnant will be reacting, and partly because The Masks will be forced to react as well.

I'll have a post within the next couple hours as I have to shower and eat first, but yes, next time, please wait up for me if possible.

Mostly, I'm having a hard time deciding how to respond to things like the evacuation of Inside by Patronus, even though Remnant is supposed to control things like that, and they had been given no warning about such things. The City's Shield is also supposed to stop things like drop pods from a high altitude. And that's without taking other countermeasures into place.

So, I need to find ways to post about things that should have happened, but somehow didn't, or is taking effect too late.

What exactly do the shields do anyway? Does stuff falling from space just bounce off of them? I'm planning to introduce a space traveller character, and was wondering exactly what would happen if he tried to land in Inside.

Again, I apologize.

I just figured that what with all the "Monsters are eating everyone and destroying the city and that giant thing emerged from the ground from the mountains to the sea!" deal, an evacuation of Inside was way overdue.

Of course, all but one of the drop pods could have been exploderated midair and I could retcon the shuttles back down to the only one shuttle making it to pick up one or two people from the Red Zone and no giant spacefaring vessel hovering midair over Inside...

As much as I appreciate the offer of a retcon, and as much as I want to take it, it's probably gone too long now. Mostly, I hadn't responded for it before now because, as assured by Rebo, the moment his plot got too far along and out of control, he'd shunt it to a side-thread.

That, and from my knowledge, only a minor earthquake happened before today, and today, I was at work for 9 hours straight. I haven't had time to react to new developments.

However, I have said multiple times before, and will say so again(and probably more in the future), if anyone does something sorta big like this, I do want to be notified before hand, or right after, so I can at least have a chance to respond. The statement in my signature is for that as well.

So, while I'm somewhat annoyed, it's probably best if nothing was retconned for now.

Though, one suggestion, after this, maybe move the Mothership stuff to the Random Thread? Generally, space stuff isn't supposed to happen in the Inside thread due to lack of people able to defend themselves against...well, heavy things falling from space or orbital lasers.

EDIT: As for the shield, well, it partly works on plot, so a PC crashlanding shouldn't cause too much as long as it's not going to wipe out a city block.

Nah, the spaceship won't destroy a city block or anything, although it'll probably land on some poor npc's fancy car. Still, I wouldn't advise detonating the ship's engines, it runs on sheer mundanity and the radiation released from destroying it could turn anyone nearby into a *shudder* NPC. Although only temporarily.
