Grills checked on her occasionally as he walked back home. Fantasia looked out of it. Her eyes were glassy and glowing. It worried him. He contemplated disrupting the energy flow of whatever spell she was under but was too afraid to go through with it. His counterspells hurt more than his heals.

Grills slowly cantered back toward his house. Suddenly he felt Fantasia jerk when she woke up and grasped at her wounded shoulder. "You okay back there, sugarplum?" he asked with obvious worry.

He looked back at the pony draped across his back and raised an eyebrow. That wound wasn't there before. And it was bleeding a lot. "How's that get there?"

The stallion carefully leaned her against a tree and rubbed his hooves together. He'd have to heal her again. Grills tapped her face a couple times to keep her up and focused on him. "Can you take a heal?"

Fantasia was in so much pain she could barely talk but between gsps she managed to get something out Just..............do it!"

(When Grills tries to heal her he will not be able to due to the fact that the blade was cursed)

Grills blinked and went right to the task.

He was not trained in healing magic. He skipped most courses in the military's unicorn magic program to focus his powers. Grills' specialty was energy manipulation and control. Flamestrong relied on raw power in big display making it very useful in wartimes. It stunk on individual targets. That's why Grills focused his training on being precise and accurate with his magic.

He started to pump positive energy directly into the wound. It should have healing it but nothing happened. Energy just bounced off. "Huh?"

He tried negative energy. No penetration either. "What the?"

Something was weird about this cut. And he wasn't skilled enough to heal it. Grills only option was to swallow some of the energy. "This won't heal the wound but if we're lucky.. it'll hurt a little less."

The stallion put his lips to Fantasia and inhaled. Thin lines of smoky energy leaped out the wound and entered his mouth. The taste was foul and disgusting. It sickened him and even peeled away some of the discoloration off of his coat, returning it to chocolate brown.

Gearstride-The Cirrus-Conference Room


"Alright, now that we've assembled," In which Benson assumes that Silverpine, Rainbow, Hover and Blaze are there already. Gear glanced at her crew observing each one for a brief moment.

"Well, apparently we're stuck here whether we wanted to leave or not, heh. An inconvenience about a special part that Sandy ordered being delayed." Gear shrugged and casually hoofwaved that.

"Anywhom, Bridle Shores now also has our protection services considering the reputation of this town with attracting trouble. That being said, there's apparently a thief out there who managed to rob the Public Works Guild and get away with a lot of important high value items and equipment, somehow. That being said I want you lot to keep an eye out for possible suspects and to watch your back in general, not to mention making sure security here on the Cirrus is in top running condition. I doubt you Rainbow would appreciate somepony stealing your guns," Gear used as an example winking at the filly-mare.

Ember Sol-Mach's House Still

"Does....this is mean I can go now?" Ember asked warily now that the topic shifted off of him.

"Not quite yet. You still have to find your fillyfriend first no?" Tyrol replied, smirking slightly. "Then I'll get somepony to escort you to the guardhouse."

Fox Trot-Outside of Lone Star's House

Fox hit his watch as within milliseconds he seemed to have disappeared. At the moment he didn't seem to care about revealing that he was more than some washed-out Broadwhey star.

Fox would still be protecting Icy but from where was up in the air.

The icicles melted, and Rose simply chuckled. "Be inventive, chica."

Her image suddenly blurred for half of a second, and when she reformed she smirked. "Just because i can't hit you at that speed doesn't mean I can't do that." She pointed up above icy, where a stove her own ice shield was falling.

The ice shield melted before it reaches Icy. "You forget, I also command the elements of ice and water. They do not exist without my express permission." Icy replied frostily. The ice mage hit her with another barrage of icicles before targeting the area around with cone of cold, intending to hit her with it after she reformed.

She woke up back in the strange world in the back of her mind. "Welcome back." Fawn smiled evilly at her. Fantasia looked down and saw that in that world the dagger was still in her shoulder. She did the thing you're not supposed to do when stabbed and removed the weapon, causing it to bleed more. "H-how did you do that?" Fantasia winced in pain. "I thought you'd figure it out by now." she began to circle fantasia. "I'm a nightmare. I've always been." Fantasia seemed confused. "You mean you don't remember all the childhood nightmares?" "You? But- No, this isn't real you're dead. I saw your body..." Fawn appeared suddenly in front of her in a cloud of purple smoke. "You've always been such a foal. You honestly thought I'd let myself get caught in my own fire?" Fantasia backed up and stumbled onto the ground, wincing at the pain it caused. "This- this isn't real. I'm dreaming. There's...shrapnel or something in my shoulder." Fawn loomed over her. "You are so much like your mother." "She was your mother too, in case you forgot." Fantasia got to her feet. "She was not my mother! My mother was not yours." "You, were adopted?" "Of course not! My parents loved me. You are the adopted one." Fantasia remembered when Fawn had told her that so long ago. "Y-you're lying." "It's a shame I had to kill her..." Fantasia was confused. "You mean in the fire?" "Not my mother stupid!" she seethed. "I used to look up to you. You're evil and wicked, and you deserved to die in that fire!" Fantasia began to advance on her. "You aren't real! You're just made up by my mind! Now go AWAY!" Fawn just laughed. "You think you can just wish me away? I'm not in any danger here. You are." "You're wrong-" "You can die, just by falling asleep or passing out in this world. It would be so easy too." Fawn smiled wickedly. "But I won't kill you yet. This is too much fun. See you later Fantasia." Fawn disappeared in a swirl of smoke and the land began to blur and twist. Fantasia woke up, and winced at the pain she was feeling in her shoulder.

"Oh excuse me little bird!" the bluebird froze as June approached it. "Could you perhaps tell us which way to go?" the bluebird immediately blurted something that sounded as if he was told to remember it but forgot. Don't go down the right cave... you...uh... don't want to go down there. June scooped the bird onto her hooves so she didn't have to crouch. "Well why ever not?" It's...uh... dangerous, yeah, very dangerous." he began to fake a limp. "Uh, an Ursa minor- No Major! Big, big thing that is. You should probably go down the left path."

Her tone is polite, the kind of tone meant to give an individual a chance to back out of a falsehood without repercussions.

At some point, Rose would feel a sharp glide of a knife run down her flank. It's not lethal pr anything, but it hurts enough to be distracting. As for the assailant, he could be anywhere, on the roof, behind her, in front of Icy again, within reach, out of reach, who knows.

One thing though he deserves credit for, is that he seems to be holding strong despite what happened to him. Ember glowered at the mare...was she trying to insinuate something about him with her first comment...

After equipping herself with the 'tools of the trade', the mare set out to the town. "Evening citizen," The mare nodded at a passing pony speaking in a grandiose tone. She strutted around like a large ham, flashing a smile here and there. Showing off to some fillies, probably Raspberry and Blueberry, or whatever their names were.

She hopped on roof tops as if though she were some sort of Batmare looking for trouble.

Grills goes back to sucking out the cursed energy. It wasn't long before he to stop due to the horrid taste. A swig of peach brandy, swirled and gargled in is mouth removed the taste.

Suddenly the wound started bleeding more. He ripped off a sleeve for his jacked and wrapped it around Fantasia's shoulder. A splash of brandy served as antiseptic. That was the best he could do. It was a magical wound, it would have to be dispelled or waited out.

When Fantasia woke up again, Grills raised her seating position. "Every time You fall asleep, you get worse." He leaned in and gave her a passionate kiss, hoping the adrenaline rush would ease the pain further.

Two pegasus guard ponies flew over after seeing the commotion. "Need assistance, sir?"

"Fly me and my friend to my house. I can barely walk." Grills winced. He forgot it was still cut and bruised for the explosion.

"No problem, sir." said a guardpony. Each pegasus took a unicorn and they flew them towards the house.

Of course he was talking about The Scrapbook filled with their foalhood memories that was lost for a while.

When she was lifted she winced a little more at being moved and tried her hardest to stay conscience. When they were dropped off at the house Fantasia knew she had to do something. "I need to go back." she told him.

He walked to his room and opened his door. He motioned her in. Once she was in he closed his door and locked it. He then opened his closet and grabbed a large book.

Of course he was talking about The Scrapbook filled with their foalhood memories that was lost for a while.

"Is... that a picture of me in a black a red flame bra?" Hover asks. Her face is red and quivering. "You kept that picture?"

Fantasia excepted the kiss gratefully and it did help a little. She weakly smiled at him.

When she was lifted she winced a little more at being moved and tried her hardest to stay conscience. When they were dropped off at the house Fantasia knew she had to do something. "I need to go back." she told him.

"No. You need to rest." he replied. It was a little on the forceful side. Eventually his voice softened. "I tried to heal you back there and it didn't work. Its like your wounds were cursed or enchanted. You were talking in your sleep and got an unhealing cut. I'm worried and can't let you go back there untilyour condition is stabilized."

And so, whoever came along, headed off to the clinic where Ember and his servant-filly had a melodramatic second reunion where manly tears were shed and were accompanied with dramatic music.

At the clinic that seemed to be the home of quack doctors now, the stock doctor must have gone on extended leave or something. Ember with disregard for the rules of the place rushed to where Aubade was being kept. She had been asleep when Ember came and totally woke up her up like a turd. She seemed to be fine, at least way better than Ember.

A sappy moment was shared.

With a dramatic flair the mare galloped from a near by roof top and somersaulted into the air landing in front with her theatrical edge. Cocky smirk abound.

"Oh my....now in what tarnation is going on here?" The xanadu mare asked eying the two fine mares. A perv smirk on her face for a few seconds.

At some point, Rose would feel a sharp glide of a knife run down her flank. It's not lethal pr anything, but it hurts enough to be distracting. As for the assailant, he could be anywhere, on the roof, behind her, in front of Icy again, within reach, out of reach, who knows.

The knife melted as it touched Rose's flank, globbing into a ridiculously hot, silver puddle on the floor.

"Sorry colt. No touchin' this mare's flank." She growled, possibly missing the double entendre. "And stop trying to be sneaky - i can sense your body heat. By the way, your core temperature seems a little low, you might want to get a doctor to take a look at that."

Well godsdamnit, there went his precious butterfly knife, reduced to nothing practically. Bitch was obviously cheating. Fox growled and looked around the room seeing if he could find something to use.

"Value my life?" Gear said to herself after the door was unceremoniously shut on her. It didn't take her long to piece just what sort of trouble was going to happen.

"In town, look for the explosion residue. I may need back-up," Gear whispered into the communicator we can presume all Cirrus members have. With that the mare smirked and pulled out an explosive shrapnel bomb.

"Shut doors on me will ya? Heh...ain't no door I can't open," Gear smirked as she tossed the bomb near the door and dove for cover.

Down went the door. Hey. The Cirrus didn't have that reputation for property damage for nothing.
