I need ideas for a three-panel comic or a picture, following these rules:

Rules: Create a Comic or Picture celebrating the 30 Millionth Pageview. It must incorporate the number 30,000,000 somewhere in it and star a Pony that appeared in the show! OC Ponies are allowed to be used (After all, this is a community based on fans) but they must be alongside an official pony! Once you’ve created it, send it to Phoe at [email protected]

You pointed out almost the exact same things I had in my head as I was watching. I gotta say, MLP&Friends had a great array of villains (a new one almost every episode/arc). That's one thing that FiM currently lacks, as it's only really had one prominent villain. I think I will make a list of comparisons between MLP&Friends and FiM. It's actually pretty different considering they're about the same thing.

I think you can make the Gilda/Blueblood idea work:

Panel 1: Celestia getting Blueblood ready ("You sure about this arranged marriage", that sort of thing)
Panel 2: He steps out, sees Gilda.
Panel 3: Reaction

...Yeah, that's going to be hard to work with. Maybe Blueblood trying to get Rarity to save him from Gilda (still arranged marriage, don't reveal it's Gilda until the last panel) and her response is "Say you're sorry 30 million times and I'll consider it".

Do we have a list of the cults on this thread? There is Midnights,Leos, Myself, and whoever is running the Pink One (She Comes!), but are there any others?

We have:

Midnight's Book Club: A cult dedicated to late night book readings and good dental plans.

The Worshipers of the Lion-Pony: The followers of Leo believe that Leo is awesome, because he gives them bacon and has the Gods of Coffee and Pork on call.

The Cult of Nightmare Moon: Not sure exactly what they represent, but they sure represent it. Involves Nightmare Moon and bringing her to the world.

The Cult of the Pink One: Come, join the eternal party. We have cupcakes and cakes and muffins and more cupcakes and oh! did I mention the cakes?! We totally have cakes! All sorts of sugary goodness and all you have to do is come to the party!

Fluttermancers (can't find a good color I haven't already used to fit this one): You will love Fluttershy, or else! The Fluttermancers simply cannot comprehend not loving Fluttershy, and so see it as a sign of an abomination that must be purged.

I think that is all of them.

I want to see how that whole party-bot thing pans out.

Well, as mentioned, the whole arranged marriage thing.

Panel 1: him getting ready, asking Celestia is this whole arranged marriage thing had to happen

Panel 2: him seeing the bride

Panel 3: him begging to be sent to the moon for 30,000,000 years



Another thought is you could sketch out a few samples from The Old Stories. Not sure how you can plug in thirty million there without Princess Celestia being really old though


A third idea could be Midnight throwing a party for Twilight's 30th birthday. Only problem, her mind wandered a bit while making the banner and she kept adding zeros to it.

Panel 1: Midnight painting the banner, part way through writing "30", with a thought bubble coming out of her showing an image of Shimmer.

Panel 2: Midnight still painting, eyes pretty vacant as she imagines having a fun time with Shimmer. The banner now has three or four "0"s on it.

Panel 3: The party, with Twilight gawking at the fact that she is apparently 30,000,000 years old. Trixie is next to her giggling.

To an extent. It is more the aura of finality. When you finish a book/series and everything is tied up, and the author has gone on record stating that no more will be done with it, it gets sad saying goodbye to those characters.

I love a good ending, I just hate saying goodbye to the character(s). For some reason, that comic with Rainbow Dash just brought that feeling of finality to my stomach, and I just felt sad, since by that comic's continuity, Dash has already lived most of her life, and there won't be any more adventures for her. It was nice and happy, but still an ending. If any of that makes sense.

Thanqol's right. There's some times when I feel like an absolute ape on the keyboard, banging on it and just coming up with utter garbage, but on the other hand, sometimes it can all flow and all come together.

You'll learn, you'll get better at it. The key, in my admittedly limited experience, is just to keep trying, recognize and work to correct your faults, and don't get discouraged.

See, I don't find the ending sad, even with the end of the road' idea. It shows a life well lived, with all dreams fulfilled and all goals accomplished. What more can one pony ask for?

I totally understand and feel the same way... I'm almost always a little sad to reach the final book in a series, or even the last page of a book, no matter how well things turned out.

And of course, there are a few who'd say she has at least one adventure left... Morbid a thought though that is.
