Aurea hopefully is there while they're talking and stuff! Reinholdt's next plan was to ask her. If she's not there, then he's talking to Liz as he's walking to meet her.

He doesn't insult the words more count for himself since he didn't knew the dog is able to speak or anything. He is starting using the PC ppushing buttons with his toung.

"I just felt victim to a prank. Or can you handle a PC?"

The puppy blinks once before uttering a response.

"Sure. Just gimme a second to ready myself."

She inhales deeply through her nose before she suddenly disappears. She reappears in the form of Percilia as a child! She's way shorter than the adult Percilia. She is clothed in a white t-shirt and blue jeans (but no shoes).

"What exactly are you trying to do with the computer anyway?"

So I have no idea if the former or the later is the case. Given the lack of indication, I'll guess the later.

Reinholdt approaches Aurea.
"Hey there. You about ready to go?" He asks.

"Try to get into the underwater ruins. You wouldn't happen to have an anti-water spell or something so we don't catch pneumonia? Cause otherwise it will just be looking around the lake for alternative entrances, given this weather." Stupid water based treasure hunts. Those were always the worst.

I'm just hoping this won't be like the Water Temple from OoT. Actually... I take that back. Having the party meet their dark doppelgangers would be pretty cool.

I know spells for water-breathing. And for warmth. But how are we getting in? I did not see any entrances there. It looks like she's avoiding stammering by force of sheer will alone.

"Our boss FINALLY decided to pick up when we called. Going to have a long talk with her about that when we're done here. But she said to knock over one of the pillars. It's a secret switch for opening the shrine up."

Reinholdt doesn't like being wet. Heck, he's horrible at swimming outright. He's going to be pink and flying underwater just to swim.

I guess it would be interesting to see an Evil, stupid Aurea... and a rational, trusting Reinholdt.

Will the shrine flood once we open it up? Hmm... Yes, I believe I can keep you dry.

"She didn't say. She doesn't know any more than that, I'm afraid. And thank you. Have you used that keep you warm spell on yourself yet?" Reinholdt asks with a raised eyebrow.

W-well, I have not done so yet, b-because I need to customize the spell to suit m-m-my circumstances. Aurea gets flustered, not wanting to admit that she has a magic vulnerability to cold that comes with being a fire breathing dragon. So she needs to beef up that spell to keep herself warm.

Will is quietly standing nearby, listening to the plans.

Mister C didn't notice the change he was fokused on the PC.

"I try to copy the map into the PC. And then I need to see where it is in the World."

"Oh. Ok. I would have guessed you were just in the absolute opposite of the typical climate for your species." Reinholdt shrugs.

He totally starts when Will shows up out of nowhere though. Creepy.
"Yeesh man. You were so still I didn't even know you were there."

He shakes it off and turns back to Aurea, casting a suspicious glance at Will.
"Well, I'm reasonably sure we'll be ready to go once you've gotten your spells ready and customized and all. Take your time though." Nothing worse than haphazardly prepared spells!

Lintha will attempt to step up to the computer and begin pressing a few buttons to perform the task Mister C has requested. If that is at all successful, a map of Outside will pop onto the screen with the map Mister C inserted into the scanner placed over a part of it. The map is of an area only forty miles west of the base!

"You mean, like this?"

Lintha asks, fingers crossed. She hopes she didn't do the wrong thing. She's not technologically savvy/fluent, so she is unsure of her work.

Silly, self-conscious creature.

Liz doesn't have anything useful to add to this conversation. She just stands around doing her best not to freeze to death. Her species wasn't designed to handle this chilly, wet weather either. Pushing back the cold is an uphill battle for her.

"Yep. Could you also take an actual map of outside under it so I see exactly where it is. Must be this button."

And Mr. C shoots his toung at the screen, luckyly the screen doesn't break or falll back.^^

Well I personally doubt they were speaking lizard, but it's my fault for not specifying. Regardless, Reinholdt will translate the important parts to Liz now, while they're waiting on Aurea. Primarily that there is a warmth spell for Liz.

Lintha will press the button with the mouse cursor! Hopefully that'll work. Hopefully. It probably does work. Then she'll probably print an updated version of the map for Mister C to use!

Mr C looks confused at the girl just moments befor she was a dog, but what has happened.

"You where a dog now a kid. Do I need to understand that?"

Reinholdt nods at Liz before turning back to Aurea to see if she's ready.

Will chitters in annoyance at the delays. Or maybe he's just cold. Hard to tell, really.

In any case, other than that, he simply continues to wait, still using the blaze as a makeshift heater.

Kenneth is in luck! One CURATOR member is gearing up for an adventure in the Computer Room as I'm writing this! There's quite a bit of commotion coming from that area, so it isn't out of the question that Kenneth would head on over there to see what's up.

[Serpent's Mouth -or- Lake; Whichever You Prefer]

The water is bitingly cold to the touch, warmed by nothing more than the distant heat of the earth's core and the scarce sunbeams which miraculously break through the ever thickening barrier formed by the black, menacing storm clouds hovering in the heavens above. The silence of the frigid waters is ominous at best. Gentle ripples brush the shore, sand as fine as dust billowing upwards with each measured step taken. A splash as the bodies pierce the skin of the serene, pure pool and descend. The disturbance, nothing more than a swirl of paint, deafness at his heels. The sensations of being underwater. The stillness of the crypt. One in the same. A lone man with two faces.

The journey to the depths of the mystical puddle, the well of blood of the forest and all its inhabitants, trickling down each and every vein, is brief and none too toilsome, though the quiet of the liquid is maddening to the tender mind. The ruins themselves, hoisted by hands long since dabbed out of the portrait of the world, stand as they stood yesterday. And the day before. And the day before. The status quo remains corked, not yet worked by the fancies of mortal men and women. Time and Nature have left their mark, but no other has offered or been offered the opportunity plant their flag here. Here, in this place, this palace emptied of life, lies a force, shackled and left to fester for decades. Without hope. Without purpose. Without destiny.

The pillars beckon. Shall we indulge them?

Pillars! Yay! Mr. Narrator Guy, quit being so cryptic and just spit it out already! Look, everyone knows you have a problem with being overly verbose all the time, so let me just summarize everything you just said in one simple sentence. The shrine at the bottom of the lake is reached (by Liz if by no one else)!

Liz, upon drawing near the ruins, merely treads water beside them, waiting for someone to punch a gaping hole smack dab through the seal!

Reinholdt, swims awkwardly and awfully, but he goes to push on the pillars one at a time anyways! PUUUUUSH.

Mr. C scrathes his head with his tounge since his paws are to small.

"So what was next again?"

Will swims quite well, though the cold isn't good for him at all, and will probably cause problems in a post or two.

In any case, he also attempts to shove on pillars.

The huge gold dragon attempts to lightly push against the pillars until she finds one that starts to give way. Then she'll try to knock it right down.

Kenneth does indeed hear the commotion, despite his decaying ears, and decides to shuffle on over to that room to see what all the fuss is about.
