Magtok opens his mouth to inform Kirk that he is in no way a man-whore and has been curtain-free for ages, but thankfully the scientists and vampire trio show up before he can make a ridiculous fool of himself.

"Yes? You guys need something? Please tell me it's not the third-in-command; I ran out of guns that accidentally explode after that last guy came in and kicked up a fuss."

Seltz smiles "no actually...I wanted to see if I could use a lab here at Amen , mister Magtok" the takes out a cigarette, and ignites it "if you don't mind of course...I'm a high profile , if a little unorthodox geneticist , specialising in handling outsider DNA.and before you ask, I am not a virologist. " she exhales a little smoke "I brought plans for a weapon with me that i'd like to build for AMEN...and I'd like the facilities to do so" she then gives Megan a sharp kick "shut you you, I'm trying to get funding!"

Karyana lets them talk, for the moment, though she frowns disapprovingly at the kick.

Magtok opens his mouth...and then closes it again. He opens it a second time, and then it awkwardly clamps shut. Gods, this is not what he expected.

"Alright, so-"

He clears his throat and puts on his serious face, pretending he hadn't heard a word of what Megan said.

"Right, so just getting it out of the way now, I can't endorse anything at all related to viruses. Additionally, if you have prior allegiances that might cause conflict with Remnant later on, don't tell me. I won't be dragging in for knowingly harboring anyone I shouldn't, and I can't guarantee anyone that they'll be given much more than a ten minute headstart and a sincere apology if Vasquez decides to march in here with a stack of arrest warrants."

Wait, what? But what about all that 'Find out if they're Umbrella agents and kick them to to curb' stuff you were thinking earlier, Magtok?

"I can offer you underground facilities for research and experimentation, but I can't give you the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the work. I'll expect to be kept informed of what's going on. As nice as a surprise war buffalo might be on Thanksmas or something, I'd really rather there be no secrets involved, so nothing explodes in anyone's faces later and I look like an idiot for putting too much trust in anyone."

I'll keep you informed of what I'm doing but the specifics are some of our patents, so we'll be keeping a few secrets over those, it that's ok. in short, we are creating a genetically engineered monster, taking it's ability to make choices for itself, implanting a neural interface, and encasing the whole thing in 3 foot thick steel power armour , if that's ok with you. sir" she finishes her first cigarette and starts the next

A knocking comes from the front door.
Megna goes over and opens it while still typing on her laptop with one hand.
Dozens of robots(mostly birds that were modeled after ravens, a couple panthers, a Doberman like a dog, and an owl) pour in along with a crate big enough to fit a person 5' 6" tall.
"I'm a robotics genius and a neurologist, not to mention that I've dabbled in genetics and weapons."
The robots stay around Megan as the Doberman one gives her a flashdrive.
"Oh, and I designed, made, and implanted the neural interface in that monster you saw. Plus I'll be working on what Seltz just said."

Kirk is sitting on the couch watching the movie, after having left Maggy. Having to deal with the newbies is a punishment worse than any verbal harassment Kirk could think of.

He probably ends up in a deadtime ooze soon enough. Unless someone wants to talk to him and risk being caught up in his deadtime when I have to leave in an hour and a half.

Karyana coughs somewhat, and starts to create air filters in her nose and throat.

As she's doing that, she begins to approach Megan, looking interestedly at the robots.

Magtok examines the creations with a neutral sort of frown, wondering how much of this would probably get lobbed onto a battlefield and reduced to their base components if he allowed Gordon and Prometheus to decide their fate.

"Impressive. I can't say I've seen a mechanical owl before."

He coughs, taking a set back away from Seltz as he does so. Either talking to him just makes that girl really nervous, she's showing off some sort of fancy robo-lungs or super respiratory system, or she's got lungs blacker than the tin man's slimy, jaded heart.

"Alright, then. If there's nothing else we need to discuss, I'll be going. I should be around if you two need anything, or if something goes horribly wrong and an angry cyber-rhino starts poking holes in people."

Megan gives Karyana a weary glance. Her robots were precious to her, they used to be the only friends she had.
"You into robotics?" she asks as the bird robots all perch on top of the crate that they brought with them.
She's still typing on that keyboard. She has to command all of the robots at once with dozens of different feeds instead of using the gear special for them.
It's hard.

"I don't know much about it yet - my dimension is at a considerably lower tech level than here - but I find it interesting, yes."

"It's weird. We've got fairly advanced guns, and reasonably good plumbing, but transportation is still done mostly by sand-drake or other riding animals, though there are a few steam trains and some rudimentary electrical systems. Also, we have no computers."

"Well, for example, if you didn't feel like going across dimensions to talk to someone then you could talk to them through the laptop, like a phone."
Plus it'll probably end up being the size of a large room so she might as well add cool things in it...like a skiable machine or something, she'll figure it out!

He claps his hands together, and then slowly pulls them apart, creating a large telewarp portal that stretches between his arms. On the other side is what looks like a pretty dusty, run-down, abandoned wreck of a laboratory, with all sort of broken equipment and powered-down computers just waiting for someone to fix them up and get them right back to science-ing things again. The place is better known as the AuxCave, or would be, if there was anyone who actually knew of the place here.

"Technically the facility is in Outside, but since I'm slapping the portal there onto a wall in an AMEN hallway and leaving it to you lot to do what you wish with it, it's the BioLab now and part of the AMEN thread, kay?"

Magtok smiles, nods, puts the portal where he said he would, and then starts walking out of the Main Room and up to the

Security Room.

Right, so now that the newbies are firmly on his side and that awful rebellious future-kid with the laser sword has been melted into goo, it's time to work on one of Magtok's other projects! Namely, the Gordon one. Without any video or audio evidence of Maggy planning anything, Gordon can't rightly put Magtok in his place and implicate the cyborg for that nefarious scheme, can he? He looks about the room, searching for the records with evidence that would almost certainly get him convicted, and sets about stealing away anything he can.

Becky, having used her shadowdancing to deflect the blast from herself and her conversational partner, looks at Rocid with her best face.
"I don't want to think of Stu 'eating it' in any context whatsoever, thank you very much."

She leans against the wall, reaching through the fourth wall to poke Alexanderian.

Magtok nods, trying his hardest to keep calm. "I probably am, Pink." He doesn't even bother turning around to face her. Hardly necessary, he knows her voice and face, and has more important things to do than study either.

Pink is not very happy with Magtok, considering that he shot her the last time they spoke. "Feel free to help yourself to anything you like in here. It's all backed up." she says. "Particularly the last meeting."

Megan goes into the new BioLab and sets her robots to guard it.
They will never sleep!
She then sets her laptop down.
"This place...damn. We're going to need to replace a lot of this equipment. I bet I know where I could get it though..."
She knows a guy and all that robotics and weapons left her rolling deep in free lab equipment she could send off for.
