Kate opens the door to the infirmary.... and keeps it open for a moment as she looks at the slime and pirate. What is going on here? Reinholdt has an opening...

But Quin and Irene are close behind!

"Name's Franky. How 'bout you?" He offers a slimy hand to Ermine. Ew... "This is GLoG, isn't it?"

"Ermine."

Ermine glances at the extended hand. Yeah, no. The pirate pointedly doesn't shake it.

"This be GLoG, aye."

[Reinholdt]

[Infirmary]

"Unless goggles are ghostly goggles, they probably do nothing. But let's just figure out what we're dealing with first." Irene peers into the doorway at the woman with a heat signature and the ooze with... maybe not? I don't know anything about ooze's heat.

"There a problem?" Irene asks Kate.

Reinholdt, for his part, doesn't take the opportunity. Too many people now. Plus... he had to ascertain what sort of assassin would dare pretend to be Ermine! She hadn't been around for a long time and then 'suddenly' she shows up. Reinholdt suspects Tobias has been setting him up and this is how he plans on eliminating him. Using Ermine's form to get him out in the open after he never showed up at HALO like Tobias had suggested.

It all makes sense now.

"Er... there is a pirate and a... blob guy. I don't know-"

Kate notices the Blob guy's large amounts of money. What is he-?

"Excuse me, sir, are you lost? This is the infirmary."

His player doesn't know anyhting about ooze heat signatures either. Irene should ask Franky. He'd probably tell him all about it.

The ooze turns to Kate. "Oh, so they keep all the people that get too drunk and bang there head here?" He oozes over to her and tries to nudge her with his elbow. Thankfully his slime proof suit will protect her. "Makes sense for this dame to be here then. She's confused." He says in a not quite low enough voice and jerks a thumb toward Ermine.

Quinn blinks in surprise, finally spotting the blob person and...
"Ermine?"

Ermine considers what the blob just said, and her own experiences.

"Yup. Dat's what it's for."

Her weasel ears twitch and she glances at the people who just came in.

"Oh, hey Quinn."

[Reinholdt]

"Right. Ok. Did we add a pirate to the redemption program when I wasn't looking?" Irene will continue to hover near Quinn, not wanting to lose her in the group.

Kate is really unsettled by the slime guy.

"Um... what are you looking for? Is it someone in particular, or what?"

She can help by removing this blob guy from the situation, letting the useful people do useful things. That's how she can help.

~This form of Caroline is normally dormant. I only take over in times of great stress. What you should focus on, maybe, is what brought me out, when Caroline was sleeping?~ And with that, Catoline begins to fade into the mindscape.

"Well, sorta. This is Ermine. Ermine, meet Irene and...Kate, right? And who are you?" the paladin asks the blob.

There's a bright spot Quinn can easily identify as Stress. As she gets closer, she finds it's actually two spots.

Quinn carefully reaches out, not wanting to intrude on Caroline's privacy, but at the same time needing to know what's wrong in order to help...

"Just looking where I can get my chips so I can double my money." The ooze gestures to the big bags of money on the floor.

He turns to Quinn suddenly, extending his slimy hand to shake. "My name's Franky. Nice to meet you. Pretty interesting casino you got here. Haven't seen any of the tables yet though."

Ermine waves disinterestedly at Irene and Kate. She then slides toward the money bags so she can try to "surreptitiously" peer inside to estimate just how much money is in them. She's quite good at this, unless there's paper currency.

"'ow would gettin' chips double yer money?"

It makes no sense! The pirate, of course, has no casinos where she's from, though she's no stranger to gambling itself.

Quinn shakes the hand.
Then frowns.
"I'm a doctor, not a croupier. And I have a paitent to treat. Out."

[Reinholdt]

[Infirmary]

"It's not like it's deadly or anything severe like that. Take your time." Irene goes ahead and floats further inside.

"When did we get so many cats around the place anyways?" Irene asks, giving Reinholdt a glance as she heads in, before continuing on.

Reinholdt tenses.

Ooh.

"Oh, sir, you are in the wrong place. This is the Good League of Good. You are looking for the Gambling League of Gambling, MaGLoG. There is no casino or such here, it's in Inside."

She will provide him with directions. She knows right where it is, for some reason.

While doing this, she will try to coax the blob out of the infirmary.

See? Kate is helpful!

Quinn carefully reaches out, not wanting to intrude on Caroline's privacy, but at the same time needing to know what's wrong in order to help...

In the first one, Quinn will find a memory of Caroline trying to stop Vincent from killing the momma Carset, and then adopting the three babies. She'll find memories of Caroline playing with them, before going off on a never-ending Caravan job.

In the other, she'll find Caroline struggling to stay awake so she can continue playing with Vincent. Most of them are before Caroline gained her new form. But even after, it's not easy keeping up with Vincent.

And though it's obvious that Vincent doesn't demand such devotion from her, and doesn't stop her from sleeping, she pushes herself for him anyway.

{Outside Main Cabin}

Caroline begins to cry. Nooooooo. she softly mumbles.

The money is all paper. Lots and lots of paper money. Frank would totally answer Ermine if he wasn't being ushered out the door. "Oh, my mistake. You should really do something about that name. It's confusing." He scoops up his big sacks of money as he's forced outside. Well then.

Mikani, noticing Caroline's restlessness, steps forwards and quietly reaches to take her friend's hand and softly squeeze it.

Vincent's already there. Though I suppose Mikani can go for the other hand. Granted he's not holding or squeezing hands. Just kneeling nearby.
"Fight it Caroline."

Warmth and reassurance are projected, along with comforting. But the stress remains, just not as strong as before.

Pathfinder nods, thinking of anything else he could offer her. "Do you need a place to stay? I have a large hut in the woods if you'd like to sleep."

She shakes her head no. "Grass is better for sleep." She's sitting on her haunches, feet flat in the grass and knees pointing up, her spine perfectly straight, tail swishing slowly for balance. "Do you get fear?"
