"Yeah, kay, alright, w- whatever.." Strahd grumbles, giving the card a cursory glance before pocketing it and getting out of his seat to plod over to the grill and start cooking. Tossing a good two pounds of highest grade ground round into the grill, Strahd flips the breaker linked to the storage coils, sending trapped lightning, harvested weekly from the choicest storms, courses through the grill, frying up the ground beef in seconds. A hardshell taco and a variety of delicious, rare and expensive toppings later, and he shoves a plate with a Tesla Taco, the house special, and a side order of fries over to Waldorf.

Waldorf snags the meal, leaving the bills and vamoosing to a seat, where he begins to nibble slowly at the food.

Talnissa, as everyone is gone, heads back to the fountain. She'll sit down almost exactly as she was before, but with a briefcase at her feet.

As Carrie points out a dress, Gen may notice that the wedding ring is still around Carrie's neck on a chain.

Reis looks up as the robot-thing appeared. He paused for a moment to admire the gold-wire hair before standing up, collecting his note-bag and sauntering over.

"Hello there!" He greets cheerfully before sitting down next to her/it. "It's a beautiful fountain, isn't it?"

Either works. Talnissa is kind of a weird case.

"Hello. And yes, it is."

Reis eyes over the construct once more. "What brings you here to this beautiful resting place?"

In through the front door comes Amil!

She's looking mostly human at the moment. Which is always encouraging. A sixteen foot tall Tyranid stomping around usually upsets people. And rightly so! Giant monsters are often dangerous after all.

Anywho!

She's dressed as seen in the below avatar, blue overalls and a red shirt 'n cap. Her hooves reshaped to look for all the world like a pair of shoes. Her reddish brown hair looks a little too think for hair and twitches every now and again of its own accord. Her mouth looks... too wide... And her nose is totally missing. If that didn't suggest something is wrong with her the orange reptilian eyes certainly would.

But who cares!

She isn't being eaten by crows!

Genevieve arrives alongside Amil. She's also not a giant monster... Not that one would ever expect her to be.

She's walking a bit awkwardly, like she's having foot trouble. "This place is pretty awesome." She looks with particular interest at the fountain, unsurprisingly. "So, it has a bunch of stores, right? That's pretty handy."

Sakura, of course, doesn't know what the bokk is. She really needs to learn to read. She can guess based on the cover, however. "What's that about? Something about the baby?"

Likely a picture of a baby crying. One of the more 'fun' things about raising a child.

"Uh, yeah." Adir flips through it a little. "It's supposed to have all these tips for taking care of a baby." He smiles at her. "I figure we're gonna need it."

Reis will wave at the new arrivals before looking back to Talnissa while fiddling with his lute.

And takes off her hat and begins chewing on it. Om-nom-nom!

Huh. That's... kind of weird...

After ripping a chunk of the red-dyed denim off the cap and devouring it she puts said hat back on her head. The hat in question appears to be un-damaged.

"Yep. A whole bunch of stores and restaurants all in the same building. The faster food is down here. The fancier spots are up on the second level."

Yay fancy restaurants?

"I actually need to get a new cell-phone. My old one got ruined when I got Tyranid'd."

Is that even a word?

Waldorf knows how to spy a client, and the fountain seems to be where most of the action is. After finishing his delicious meal, he wanders over to the pair near the door, and bows so low he nearly overbalances.

"Good eavning fairr ladies. Please be kind and viz-it our esstablishmennt. He hands them each a card:

Genevieve gives Amil a weird look... best not to ask. "Hm, I could use some food." Amil gets another look. "What's a cellphone?"

But before she can get an answer she's handed a card. "Oh, thanks. What kind of store is it?" The card doesn't tell her a lot.

Sakura tries to take the book and look at it closer. She gets nothing out of this of course. "That should be handy, yeah. You'll have to read it to me though." She'll place it in the cart.

"Huh? A cell phone?" Gene is given an odd look. What kind of person doesn't know what a cell phone is?

...obviously someone form a world that doesn't have cell phones yet. Duh.

"Eerr... It's a small machine that lets you talk with people at a great distance."

And surf the internet! And play games with angry avians! And other such things!

"And if you want food there are plenty of places to choose from. The fast-food places are mostly themed. Like Carcosa Burger or Zombie A-Taco-Lypse."

Amil thinks both restaurants are kind of... strange...

Then she gets a card!

And Gene asks the question she was going to ask!

The bard at the fountain gets a small wave as well.

He's puzzled by her question, It iz... hard to describe. We ssell differennt thingz, not to be held. Thingz of the up here. With a great effort, he lifts one of his decrepit arms to his skull and taps a temple several times before letting it flop to his side.

"Hm, okay. Maybe we'll have to check it out." He's got Genevieve curious at least. Doing his job rather well i'd say.

"Y'know, we're gonna have to teach the baby to read anyway..." Adir's voice turns a little unsteady. Another thing that would take years. So much work. He tries to put it out of his mind, and continues, "Um, you could always learn too."

Now Boris looks curious. "I've never heard of those. I think I can guess, but do you mind telling me what they are?"

"Of course. Essentially, Seeker Bullets are enchanted so that when you fire them at a target, they will 'track' the target even if it moves."

Sakura's eyes light up. "I'd really like to. There's always things that I can't read around. I keep wishing I could." Oh course, that in itself will be a lot of work. Being taught by Adir doesn't seem like a bad thing at all.

Waldorf rises from his bow (he was bowing the whole time?) and shambles away, pausing to nod to Talnissa and offer Reis another business card, this one saying:

Amil coughs slightly.

"Alright. I guess that's one shop to check out," she mutters as she eyes the card uncertainly. "Though in the mean time, did you want to get something to eat? I'll even treat you this time."

Free food is the best kind of food!

Gene should totally accept Amil's offer. Because there's no better way to seal a friendship than to enjoy meals together. That's most certainly the way friendship works.

Waldorf limps through the aisles, his wristwatch guiding him forward until he stands, listing slightly to the left, behind Sakura and Adir. He may or may not have snuck up on them

"Her're you arre sirr, madame. And somewhat typically, he drops two cards into their shopping cart and begins to move away.
