Well, I can't think of any possible reason why that wouldn't work, so it does!

The little meat-people slowly rise to their feet, looking at their new, pastry-covered forms and bizarre surroundings with wonder.

Then they proceed to go absolutely nuts. Running around like madmen, tacklehugging each-other, climbing up the waffle walls and throwing themselves from the ramparts with utter abandon... It's pretty sweet to be alive.
