Hearing the commotion, Soloman drags his nose out of the book he is reading and heads over.

Seeing the Mammoth he stops and concentrates on it, a focused look in his strangely shining eyes. An odd deep sound, like hundreds of voices chanting together builds suddenly from nothing around the mammoth.

The mammoth shudders under the volley of magical attacks, but twists again, lazily trying to stand. Alon's attempt at friendship fails, as the beast already sees the group's true intentions, and it tries to slap out a thick trunk at him, but slips again.

In another moment, though, it stands up shakily, steps with one foot, and pulls itself from the mire, slamming down on the eidolon with full strength, and lashing out against Rerim as well.

Oh my god... Words would not be able to do justice in describing what was going through her head. Instictively she wanted to run for it, but if she did she knew many people could die, likely those who had just joined the fight. However Egee seemed to lack any sign of wanting to back off. It was really that bit which kept her in on the fight. She wasn't going to give up while Egee as still going toe-to-toe with it. Aton runs to towards the mammoth, pulling a small bag and a candle from his component pouch. "Galw eryr!" he yells, making a pointing gesture with his hand. A shining eagle farms where his finger indicates.

[summon monster I to summon celestial eagle.]

The eagle flies towards the mammoth, and if it reaches it, attempts to sink it's talons into it.

    attack - (1d20+3)[4]

    Sarah

Once again conjuring a small bubble of acid she launches it at the wooly beast. Just how much punishment can this thing take?!

Rerim and his lion continue to carefully attack the beast, but its dense hide seems impervious to their strikes, and every caring attack gets lost in the thick hair.

Sarah's strike ripples from another plane, but something seems off. The acid tears into the beast far better than before, penetrating its thick hide with ease, even if the tiny orb doesn't do an enormous amount of damage.

From another plane, a bright nimbus of light forms, flashing over the entire field for a moment, and then disappating to a glowing eagle. After a moment's pause to consider the five, the bird streaks towards the mammoth, attempting to sink its jaw into the beast, but failing to cut through the long, shaggy hair that so impeded everyone.

I'm going to need to have Sarah make a K:Planes, K:Arcana, or Spellcraft check. Anyone beating a DC 15 Perception check may as well.

If you hit a DC 25 check on any of the three (K: Planes/Arcana or Spellcraft. DC 30 for Religion):

    Spoiler
    Show

You got a nat 20, with a decent modifier. You deserve this.

    ---
The acid ripples out of a new plane, one almost never tapped for conjuration. Why?

Tapping the plane has a massive chance of opening and exposing everyone to the complete energy and destruction. Also involved is a likely side chance of being sucked through a sporadic vortex, simultaneously tearing the fabric of reality and destroying the very essence of your existence. No mage, I repeat, NO MAGE does so on purpose. The very essence of the plane itself is deadly to magic of all sorts, tied so intricately to the Weave of magic, not as a support, but as a ticking bomb, waiting to destroy it.

The plane is feared to the point of not being mentioned. Anyone brought through a portal is instantly stranded in an infinite cube of acid and lava, combined with exploded anti-magic fields dotting the landscape, each of which may drain the very life-strength of a mortal, far beyond what they have, even. It is said that those who "reside" there are in a constant state of death, enduring tortorous pain eternally.

It is the Plane of Damnation.

It is the final resting place of evil.

It is the final creation of God.

    ---

    Roll me a Sense Motive.

Other IC note, which didn't come prepared: Someone else "patched" your spells together, meaning they re-connected your conjuration's plane choice. So, instead of the Plane of Acid, you got the Plane of Damnation.

Unaware that anything is off Alon reloads his crossbow. He draws back and aims, his finger hitting the trigger.

    attack - (1d20+4)[7]
    damage - (1d8)[8]

The eagle unleashes it's full fury upon the mammoth. It's talons and beak glow white as it attacks.

    talon 1 attack - (1d20+3)[21]
    talon 1 damage - (1d4)[1]
    talon 2 attack - (1d20+3)[11]
    talon 2 damage - (1d4)[3]
    bite attack - (1d20+3)[20]
    bite damage - (1d4)[3]

[ooc-eagle is using smite evil, so +1 damage to each of those attack I believe]

BTW, you've already gone in this round... (See Initiative count). This can just be next rounds attack/damage, if you're OK with that.
