They're in a very large room, with many halls branching off it, and different types of petrified wood set into the floor. There's not much else here, though.

Being the catgirl that she was, Mel unsheathed her claws in her human hands and scratched at the floor. Oh how wonderful it felt to her. She started to pur.

Aseti is happily asleep.

Talia holds her close, and, after a while, falls asleep as well.

Talina doesn't seem to mind, and tries to pull Nycca close.

Karyana smiles, and doesn't seem to mind. Which makes sense, as the floor will repair any damage Mel does to it.

Mel is going crazy over the beautiful petrified wood. Apparently this wood scratching is to her what cat nip is to Pesty. At least this is a healthier habit. So...wonderful!

"I'm glad you like it here. Do you want me to make you a thing of this to take back to HALO with you?"

Mel finally stops. She didn't realize she had been going on for so long with the wood. She blushes and walks back over to the entrance. Maybe a little board.

A large board of petrified cherry wood, around four feet wide, five feet tall, and a foot thick appears in front of them.

Noticing the blush, Karyana says "Is something wrong, Mel?"

Mel looks down but takes the block of wood graciously.
I just...sorry for that. That's all.

Karyana smiles at her reassuringly.

"Don't be. You didn't do anything wrong."

"Then you can go. But if Megan doesn't mind, I'm going to go with you. I don't think she's going to do anything to you, it's just that she doesn't exactly work in a nice place."

"It's okay if you come along, but I promise I'll make sure that Aseti is protected as much as I can. And I have bird robots that cam shoot lasers from the butts so I think we're okay."
She tries to hug both Aseti and Karyana at the same time.
"Alright! Teleporting powers go!"
That was a cue for Karyana to teleport them to the BioLab in AMEN.

Karyana grins, and returns the hug, before trying to warp all three of them to the Shadow-door, which now leads to the BioLab.

She is taken there!

Megan is also teleported!

Then, presumably, they'll head through the Shadow-door, and to the BioLab.

The water, as Talia's sleeping, eventually starts to cool off.

In the meantime, though, the Nixie does much the same.

Talina returns the smile, enjoying the snuggling.

Turning to Jen, she says "So, what can you tell me about yourself?"

She shivers and gets closer.

Talia holds the coyote girl close, still sleeping.

The water continues to chill.

[Motel]

"Do you mind telling me what you do?"

She shivers again.

Uh... I was homeless until I came here.

This time, the movement is enough to wake up Talia, though as the Nixie is still a bit out of it, she doesn't start heating the water.

"Is something wrong?"

[Motel]

Talina nods.

"Alright. Why were you covered in blood when you get here?"

(At least, I think she was...)

[Beans]

She shrugs, scratching her neck.
Her nails are fairly long.
I... forget...
She brushes her dull black hair from her face.

Colds.

Talina tries to pull her closer.

"Can you think of anything that might be making you forget so much?"

Does it look like her hair is dull normally, or like she hasn't been eating well? Or some other cause?

Talia looks confused, as she's still not fully awake.

"Colds? You've come down with something?"

[Beans]

It looks like a normal dull.

No, silly, I mean it's cold.
The water.

[Lady Serpentine]

"Okay."

She pauses for a moment.

"Do you want some breakfast?"

[Moor]

"Oh. Sorry..."

The water quickly begins to heat back up.

[Beans]

[Motel]
She shakes her head.
I'm getting achey again... gonna take some painkillers and sleep.

She grins.

Talina snuggles closer, pulling the feather from her pocket.

"Alright."

[Moor]

Talia grins back, and tries to kiss Aseti.

The water is now at a fairly neutral temperature, and still heating.

[Beans]

[Motel]
She gets up and goes back to her room.

She kisses back.

As she goes, Talina says "Good night, Jen.", and starts to stroke Nycca's wings.

Talia will hold the kiss until Aseti breaks off.

At some point during this, the water will reach the same heat it was at last night, and settle there.

[Beans]

Aseti sighs happily.

Talia smiles happily, and snuggles close.

"Other than the cold, did you sleep well?"
