"Mmmm..." Reinholdt groans with some frustration, not telling her that it was ALL of his money. Maybe he'll be able to grab an advance or loan something from the cats later.

"Well, either way, I guess we're not buying anything tonight." Reinholdt unwraps his pumpkin candy and eats it too, since it's all he'll get here.

"Fortunately this holiday is rather known for its free stuff."

[Slii Arhem]

[Streets - Fiesta]

Makes one wonder how he buys candy when his money was stolen. D=

Arel takes the pumpkin and unwraps it slowly. She bites into it, and, "Mmm, that's delicious." She takes another bite. How did she ever survive without this stuff?!

The chocolate candy contains horrible gooey filling, and if it was sentient would be surprised that it was enjoyed. The wrappers contain pure fear distilled down to its liquid essence, and quickly morph into a horde of putty men.

"Blup Blup Blup Blup Blup Blup Blup!" they attempt to surround the fallen angel and the catboy, taking cheesey martial arts stances as they do so.

"Yeah, li-" Suddenly, putty men surrounding them. That's... rather odd. "Um..." Arel isn't quite sure how to react to the little guys.

[Reinholdt]

[Streets - Fiesta]

Reinholdt shudders and he makes a face. That candy was disgusting!

He guesses Arel just liked it cause she didn't know any better. Or something.

And now putty men. "Oh. I think I've seen this tv show once. Must be part of the skeleton crew." The dance seems weird to him though.

Streets

The putty men (who aren't That little) continue making crazy poses, but neither move foward to attack or part to allow passage. Then one of them accidently poses at another of them and the poor recipient emits a shower of sparks and falls to the ground, unmoving.

The rest of them don't even seem to notice, keeping up their odd dance at all costs.

Clearly Arel had just tasted the chocolate layer when she commented... or something.

"They're weird things, aren't they?" Kind of funny too. She wonders why one of them fell down. Definitely weird.

[Reinholdt]

[Streets - Fiesta]

"Kinda cute I guess. In that... weird, seem to be malfunctioning sort of way." Reinholdt says, taking an involuntary step back when sparks shoot out.

Fed up with all the waiting, three of the putty horde advance on the two bewildered victims, the one in the lead throwing an extremely slow telegraphed punch at Reinholdt, while one of his comrades hold up a sign with a diagram showing the catboy how to execute a perfect judo throw.

Arel is definitely confused by the putty men now. She looks at the rather slow punch, then the sign. Weird. Very weird.

[Reinholdt]

[Streets - Fiesta]

"Umm... I guess they want us to participate?" Reinholdt says, looking at the sign and back to the extremely slow punch. He shrugs and ducks and tries a judo throw, but he's not very good at it at all. I doubt the putty man will even end up on the ground.

The putty abandons his punch in favor of jumping into the throw, sommersaulting improbably through the air to land on his back in another shower of sparks. The others seem to get really excited, abandoning all pretense and rushing en mass at the pair.

Cheesey fake martial arts and terrible special effects are almost sure to follow.

"EEEP!"

Reinholdt ducks and tries to pull Arel down too. Being surrounded doesn't really leave much room to run.

Ducking! More than likely ineffective anyway. In any case, Arel eeps similarly and is pulled down.

At the last second, the putties all freeze in place, mere inches from the cowering pair. All of them are in the most ridiculous poses possible. Crane stance, drunken monkey, whooping cough and even crouching marmoset all arrayed about like statues in a museum of Cheeze.

And they're all staring at one another in shock over the backs of their cunning foes.

In a rain of harmless special effects and cheap movie magic, they soon lie slain.

Neme Hat Reinholdt slowly peeks up from where he most certainly wasn't cowering.
"Ummm... wow. I, uh, guess we won?"
He is deeply, deeply confused.

[Gullara]

[Streets - Fiesta]

Arel unsteadily straightens, looking as confused as Rein. "I guess so. That was... strange." Understatement of the year.

[Reinholdt]

[Streets - Fiesta]

"So... ummm... yeah..."
Yep. Pretty speechless. Awkward shuffling time. Shuffling in a manner that moves Reinholdt away from the scene. >>

A rattling skeleton wearing a sombrero pops up behind Reinholdt and Arel. It grins and tries to pull the two of them back from the strange putty things. Another skeleton jigs over with a broom and tries to shoo or push them away.

The sombrero-wearing cadaver then offers them two sugar skulls, indicating that the two treats are free. Though if they accept the candies, each will find an "Eval Inc." card in their hands along with the tasty skulls. Silly evil corporations.

[Reinholdt]

[Streets - Fiesta]

Oh hey! Free candy!
"Oh hey, free candy!" Reinholdt says, as the full moon peeks out from behind the clouds.

Reinholdt willingly takes and noms at the candy while looking at the card.
"Eval Inc? Is that some sort of candy company?"

[Gullara]

[Streets - Fiesta]

Arel takes the candy. "Thank you." She says to the skeleton. The fallen seraph also looks at her card. Wonder what that's all about. She would say something, but the moon just came out...

Rein might feel something odd when the moon's light hits his mask. To put it simply, he'd feel less civilized, more wild. Not violent, really, but certainly less in touch with his civilized side. Hopefully he doesn't run amuck. D=

The skeleton shakes its head and grins. Nope. Not a candy company.

It reaches around and detaches its left arm with its right hand. It waves the limb around, wiggles the fingers on the end of it, and puts it neatly back into place. It's a necromancy company!

The candy is good.

Hah! I knew the masks were weird!
Reinholdt doesn't reply to the skeleton. He just grunts and takes another sugar skull. In fact, he goes to take quite a few more and start eating them right there, without waiting for permission.

Guess he hasn't heard of one per customer.

[Streets - Fiesta]

"Reinholdt, I don't think you're supposed to take so many." Arel tries to put a hand on his arm to stop him from taking another bite, or at least get his attention.

[Reinholdt]

[Streets - Fiesta]

Reinholdt grunts, but stops to look at Arel. Dang. She was so pretty, even with that mask on.
Staaaaare.

The skeleton grins in an unfriendly way at Reinholdt and tries to lightly smack his hand away from its sugary wares. No! You only get one free sample! You have to buy the rest. Bad cat-man-wolf.

"What are you looking at?" Arel asks. She blushes faintly, her reddened skin barely visible under her mask.

[Reinholdt]

[Streets - Fiesta]

"You... So pretty..." He no doubt just starts leaning forward for awkward kisses that wouldn't work because of masks, when his hand gets smacked and he drops the sugary treats. He whirls on the skeleton and hisses at him.

"HIIISSSSSS."

[Gullara]

[Streets - Fiesta]

Arel takes a step back. What's going on? "Are you okay? What's going on?" For the moment she is merely concerned.

The skeleton grins in fear and takes a step back. Okay, hissing. It was not called from the grave to deal with this. It does a little jig and dances backwards to flee from the crazy werewolf catman. It makes placating gestures with its phalanges.

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt looks back at Arel. The skeleton has placated him for now!
Sooooo.... pretttttty....
"Feel funny. Like... catnip...." He takes a step towards Arel, one arm reaching towards wrapping around her waist. She can probably avoid it by stepping back though.
